Get decked
"This is delicious." Jumin praised, smiling a bit. "I honestly wasn't expecting much. But omurice has a very unique sort of flavor."
Jaehee slowly stopped chewing her own food, turning to face Jumin with narrowed eyes, unable to form a reply to his comment. Should she even respond to that? She wasn't really sure at this point.
"Jumin..." Yoosung spoke up with a straight face. "It's just egg and rice with ketchup. What the hell's so unique about it??"
Legacy couldn't help but let out a giggle. She was aware that Jumin didn't eat these types of dishes, well, actually, everyone in the group was well aware of what he eats, but it was still funny how he looks like a child eating ice cream for the first time. The three of them glanced at her as she laughed.
Jumin looked happy seeing her smile again. Unconsciously, he reached out to touch her face, but stopped himself when he heard a loud yell from the front door.
"LEGACY!! YOUR KNIGHT HAS COME FOR YOU!"
Jumin stood up from his seat, excusing himself from the table, and walked over to open the door. When he did, he saw Zen running at full speed around the penthouse in search for Legacy. After he saw Jumin open the door and everyone else peeking from behind him, he made a beeline for the smaller girl with brown hair.
"Zen, how nice of you to--"
SWOOSH!
Zen ran passed him. Jumin turned around to find Zen hugging Legacy until she turned blue. She was smiling, happy to finally meet him, but it was getting hard to breathe.
"ZEN, NOOO! DON'T KILL HER!!" Yoosung cried while trying to pry the two apart.
"C-Can't...breathe..." Legacy tried pushing away from him.
"A--... ACHOO!!!" Zen sneezed and released her.
Legacy coughed and gasped for air. Yoosung rubbed her back and asked if she was alright. Jaehee's eyes widened upon seeing Zen sneezing uncontrollably and she searched the room for the culprit.
"Mr. Han," She turned to her boss with a conflicted expression.
Jumin looked over at what she was pointing at and saw Elizabeth the 3rd sleeping peacefully on the couch. He looked back at his assistant and raised a questioning eyebrow. She frowned and nodded towards Zen's direction. He looked at Zen's pink face then looked back at her.
"What?" He asked as if it wasn't obvious.
"Mr. Han!" Jaehee sighed. "We need to move Elizabeth the 3rd to another room and clean this area of her fur."
Zen sneezed.
"Why? She's sleeping so contentedly right now. I don't want to wake her." He replied.
Zen sneezed again.
"But, Mr. Han," Jaehee began. "You know that he is allergic to cats. We need to transfer Elizabeth to another room or else he'll--" Zen sneezed louder. She looked at him worriedly. "Or else he'll keep sneezing and turning red."
Legacy stared as Zen's handsome face was slowly turning a light shade of red. He was starting to sneeze more and she became just as worried as Jaehee was. Zen's fans would definitely panic if they saw him now.
"Jumin?" Legacy smiled awkwardly at him. "C-Can we move Elizabeth to another room, please? Maybe she'll sleep better on your bed."
This made her uncomfortable. She felt bad for Zen but she didn't want to upset Jumin and make him move his cat somewhere else if he didn't want to. Legacy felt like she was asking a lot from him. Feeling already indebted to the man made her uneasy to ask for a little more.
Jumin began walking towards her direction and she instantly shut her eyes, expecting a slap on the head or maybe a cold glare. But when she heard his footsteps behind her, she opened her eyes and was surprised to see him carrying his cat away to his bedroom like she had suggested. Jaehee heaved a sigh of relief.
"Jumin..? Is it really okay with you?" Legacy asked quietly when he came back out. She was terrified that he might be mad at her. She didn't want him to think that she was taking sides.
No. She didn't want that at all.
Jumin closed the bedroom door and smiled at her. A warm and gentle smile that made her heart stop.
"If it's you, then I don't mind." He said. Legacy smiled back.
There was another knock on the door and the head of security informed them that 707 had returned. Everyone looked towards the doorway as Seven entered with his equipment and Unknown's gift. The redhead was surprised to see almost the entire RFA in the room. His eyes observed their expressions and, when he got to Zen, saw anger written all over his face.
Despite Zen still feeling the effects of his allergy, he still managed to stomp over to Seven with a glare, and punched him in the jaw without hesitation. Several gasps were heard as Seven fell to the floor. He sat there for a moment, before looking up at Zen.
"You stay away from Legacy." Zen warned, itching his stuffy nose. "If you hurt her any more than-- Achoo!-- you do then I'll-- ACHOO!"
"Hyung, I don't think it's a good idea to threaten him while under the effects of your allergy," Yoosung deadpanned.
Seven rubbed the area on his jaw where he was struck before standing up and walking over to Legacy like nothing had happened. She stared up at him, eyes full of mixed emotions. Should she be worried because Zen just punched him? Should she keep on being angry and glare? It was a battle of her own feelings and she stood there staring at him, her expression drawing a blank.
"Here," He held the box in front of her. "I checked it out to make sure it's safe."
She eyed the object suspiciously then took it from his hands. Uncovering the box slowly, her eyes widened upon seeing a pair of yellow glasses sitting inside. She picked it up and wore it, her vision immediately becoming clearer.
"Wow! Everything's not blurry anymore!" She exclaimed excitedly.
The others looked at her curiously. "I didn't know Legacy needed glasses," Yoosung commented. "It looks good on her though."
"Legacy, you-- ACHOO!" Zen sneezed for the nth time. Jaehee frowned and guided him out of the room to look for something for his allergies.
Fascinated by the brighter and clearer world around her, Legacy couldn't help but smile at everything she was seeing. Seven stared at her quietly, watching her cheerful expression. When their eyes met and she realized that he was still standing in front of her, she immediately frowned again and looked down at the floor.
"Hey..." He said, gently touching her shoulder. "I...need to talk to you..."
