Chapter 29: Capture
"This is kidnapping."
"No, it's not."
"Kidnapping. Noun. The action of abducting someone and holding them captive."
"Who gave her her phone back???" Zen looked around, sending an accusing glare at everyone while Yoosung whistled.
"Yoosung!"
"What??? She looked bored!"
"I'll ask again, where are you all taking me?!" You were hoping that by the 7th time you asked them they would spill something but no. They still wouldn't budge.
"Was tying her up really necessary?" Asked Jaehee somewhat worried if you could breathe right since the rope seemed a bit tight.
"Have you seen her get angry? I'm not taking that risk." Zen crossed his arms over his chest.
"Don't you think this is going a bit overboard?" Jumin asked raising an eyebrow at how 'Great' this plan was really going to be.
"Look, I know this is Seven's plan but I'm not in the mood guys, can you just let me go and say that I somehow got away?" You hope they would go along with your plan but nope. They just WOULD. NOT. BUDGE.
"We're almost there Y/n, please be patient." Jumin tried to reason with you. You let out an annoyed sigh.
"We'd better not be heading over to the planetarium where he'll tell me to go with him to the space station." Everyone exchanged a glance and in the back, you could hear the Whatsapp 'ping' sound to record audio.
"Move directly to plan B."
"ARE YOU SERIOUS."
~
"OK, FINE. Tie me up bUT A BLINDFOLD? THIS IS GETTING CREEPY YOU GUYS." You tried to get out of Zen and what you think is Jumin's grasp as they walked you towards who knows where.
"Quiet down Y/n, you're drawing attention." Yoosung said next to you.
"bAeHeE sAvE mE." You whined but heard no response. "I KNOW YOU'RE THERE." You stopped freaking out when you heard a door open and the smell of yeast, cinnamon, and coffee hit you like a truck. "Are we at your bakery Jaehee?" You asked, your hands hovering in front of you instinctively, not wanting to crash into anything.
"Something like that." She said with a small chuckle. You walked a bit farther until they told you to sit down. You had no other choice and did as they said. They untied you and in one go they took off your blindfold.
"Have fun, little lady~~~" Was the last thing you heard Zen say.
"What the?" Your hair got in your face and by the time you combed it back, you noticed they were gone and there was only one person in front of you.
"Seven?" You said completely confused. You looked around and you instantly recognized where you were. "Passion Pastries? What are we-"
"What would you like to order sir?" A waitress suddenly asked.
"I'll just have some regular coffee. MC?" He looked at you for your answer.
'MC?' He hasn't called me that since...
Your eyes widened in shock.
"She'll have a (fav drink and dessert)." He answered for you. "So...MC." He began after the waitress left. With a slight blush across his cheeks, he tried to find the words to say. "Wow it's even harder to explain then I thought..." He chuckled.
Wait...
"Saeyoung-"
"The reason why I asked you to come was because things are getting a little out of hand at the RFA." You had your brows furrowed in confusion as he continued.
He's reenacting the day we first met.
"Yeah, weird right? Well, from the game I think you could have noticed that-"
"Seven what are you trying to do?" You asked, not feeling so good about reliving this moment, the moment where this whole rollercoaster started.
"What are you talking about, MC?" He continued to play his part. "Anyway, V never talks too much about his health or how he's doing since Rika died and we want to help him but he just won't let us. He keeps on saying that he's fine and that we should all stop worrying. And that's..." He paused for a moment. You watched him carefully.
If I'm not wrong, he should be saying something along the lines of 'And that's actually true, like in real life'
"Here you go!" Said the waitresses as she placed your drinks on the table. Seven said a short 'Thank you' and you nodded your head as well.
"As I was saying." He looked down at the table, he looked pained and worried. "We...We need your help to get us out of a contract." You raised your eyebrows in surprise.
That's not, he never said that before...
He started rummaging around a backpack you didn't notice he brought. "Here." He laid out some documents on the table as if they were playing cards. You quickly scanned said documents and Seven could hear a slight gasp from you.
These are the...
"These are all the contract documents." He looked up at you, sincerity and honesty prominent in his expression. "We were... I was tricked into signing those contracts due to family problems. Rika told V everything Saeran and I have done in the past and he took that as his chance to get back at me and he took the RFA down with me too." He let out a sigh and slumped back in his seat. "V has some mental issues and I've asked dozens of other people on the app to help me but you're the first one to reach out for me."
"You mean the first idiot to respond." You said sourly, remembering what he said on Christmas day.
"Yeah, it's true, I did think that at first." You raised an eyebrow. "But, if you went through all this trouble to meet me, then it must mean more than that right?"
"And what do you want me to do then? Get close to him? Become his friend?" You crossed your arms over your chest, remembering his grandiose plan from back then.
"God no. I don't want that psycho anywhere near you." He managed to get a chuckle out of you to which he felt his heart flutter in relief. "I want you to help me; help all of us." He reached out and took your hands in his.
"And I know this is asking a lot since we technically just met but I hope you can trust me and help us out." You couldn't help but feel a few tears that threaten to spill.
"How do you remember everything you said back then?" You asked amazed by his memorizing abilities.
"The author has copy and paste." You slapped his hand.
"Quit breaking the fourth wall, the readers will get mad at you again." You scolded. He chuckled and scratched the back of his head.
"So, what do you say MC?" You couldn't help but smile like an idiot.
"And what do I gain?" You asked with a smirk. Saeyoung raised his eyebrows.
"Well," He held up his hand as he started numbering every single one of the reasons. "You'll get a boyfriend--that's not me-- then break up with him and then you'll go out with me, you'll get amazing friends, a guy that acts as your alarm clock--sweet AF--, one that has a shit ton of money--handsome, but not as much as me--, another that's an actor--talk about hair kink--, a Jaehee that's Baehee. A shot wound, spoiler alert, you live," You couldn't help but let out a chuckle at that one. "And the most terrifying yet amazing experience of your life." You sat there for a while and acted as if you were thinking about it.
"Oh! And you'll be getting a hell of a lot of these." He leaned over the table, almost knocking over his drink but didn't care as he planted a kiss on your lips. You blinked a few times when you two parted. He took a seat back in his chair, not letting go of your hands all the while.
"I think I might like this deal." You laughed.
"And I promise, from here on out, I'll tell you everything, no if's and's or but's." He held up his right hand as if he were taking an oath.
"Okay, when do I start?"
~
You two stayed at Passion Pastries for a while as Saeyoung explain every detail he might have left out and even the new info he got from V. After that you both decided that it was best if you moved back with Saeran for safety proposes.
"Thanks so much for everything, Celest!" You gave her a tight hug and waved goodbye.
"No problem, Y/n, what are friends for?" You looked at her a little confused, Celest almost looked sad or disappointed?
"You gonna be okay?" You asked just in case.
"Yeah! Don't worry about me, no matter what I know you'll find me." She gave you a wink.
"What d-"
"Now go on! Your bae is waiting for you." She gave you one last hug and patted your back. "Have fun for me while I stay here working okay?" You smiled sweetly and nodded.
"See you soon!" You waved and was off.
Celest sighed, her grip lingered at the door handle longer than she had noticed before she shifted her gaze and looked at the security cameras to make sure you were far enough away. She then turned back to her desk and sat on her favorite gamer chair.
She mentally made a list making sure everything is complete and in place for what's to come.
Celest shuts her eyes and lets out a deep breath.
The door creaks open.
"You know, my security system is pretty expensive." Said Celest as she carelessly typed away on her computer. A tall stranger walked in with a large weapon in his hands, something like a bat.
"I figured. It looked really advanced." He answered in a deep tone.
"Yeah, so what do you want with me? Are you the boss or were you sent like a dog to fetch what his master wants?" She clicked the enter button and turned in her swivel chair to look at him as he stood in the middle of her living room.
"The only orders I received were to capture you, preferably alive." Celest's heart was pounding in her chest, but she wouldn't show how scared she really was. In an instant, Celest took out her handgun and pointed it directly at his head.
"And I can easily turn you into the authorities, dead or alive." She Locked and loaded her weapon. "Secret services aren't really that picky." The man in black simply smirked.
"He was right, you are quite feisty." He took a few steps forward and Celest didn't hesitate in shooting his right arm. "Come closer." She loaded her gun a second time letting the bullet cartridge fall to the ground with a ping. "I dare you." The guy held his arm in pain, blood dripping down his arm.
"Stephan!" He called out. Celest could hear someone coming up behind her and took out her taser. In an instant 'Stephan' was convulsing on the ground.
"You've got guts." The guy in black answered, still holding onto his arm.
"That's not the only thing I've got." She kept her gun aimed at his head as she typed, her eyes never leaving his.
Activating backup security sy-st-e-m. All of a sudden the voice died down. Making Celest nervous.
What the hell is going on?!
She tried to wrack her brain for answers.
"You see little red head." He spoke up as he ripped a piece of his shirt to tie it around his wound. "We already know how skilled you are. So we had to take more, extreme measures." He stomped over to Celest and she aimed for his head and shot.
There was a loud clack sound and she realized that he had bulletproof cuffs and held them up to this head saving his ass.
Who does this guy think he is?! Wonder Woman?!
"Now, put that away." He easily took the gun away from her and tossed it aside. "Children aren't supposed to play with these." He grinned and took out a cloth bag from his pocket. "Stephan!" The guy from before stood up and Celest knew.
It's over.
Stephan placed a wet cloth on her face and slowly she fell unconscious.
"When we get back I'll show you real pain, Red." He muttered as he placed the cloth bag on her head and hauled her over his shoulder. He took out a communicator and clicked a side button.
"Sir, we have her."
"Perfect, bring her over."
