I'm sorry for the very very late update. Sobrang busy ko lang talaga sa school, especially now that I'm in college. To make it up to you, here's a long update for the part one of Coco's journey in Abseiles.

   Journey in Abseiles

Nakatungo at mahigpit na nakakuyom ang mga palad ko habang nakikinig sa usapan nina Professor Cameron at tatay. Honestly, I have lost track on what they are talking about now after I heard what I needed to know. How would you feel if you suddenly found out that you are an actual subject to a prophecy? Because I could not figure out mine. My insides are all swelled up and they grew tired of all these supernatural ordeal.

Superhumans, psychics and witches mingling with humans, gods and goddesses disguised as mortals and now, a predetermined fate of being a vessel to some primordial beings, all sound bat shit crazy.

Lilith was the wife of Adam prior to Eve who refused to submit to him and was punished by God because of that. However, Eve suffered the same fate as her after she had eaten the forbidden fruit. They were casted to the darkness but both of them swore to return with their respective vessels. When Daphne's reincarnated body became Eve's vessel, it instantaneously made me Lilith's. It is because it was stated in the prophecy that these two wicked wives of Adam will always be in conflict and the return of anyone of them will also pave the way for the other's comeback. Ang mortal na kaaway o ang lubos na kinamumuhian ng taong naging vessel nila ang magiging vessel ng isa pa. The death of nanay angered me so much I also want Eve dead and this awaken Lilith from her deep sleep.

Daphne loathed my mother when tatay chose nanay over her. Sino ba namang hindi magagalit kung ang taong nangako sa'yong hahanapin ka sa iyong pagbabalik sa mundo ay nakatagpo na ng ibang pag-ibig? That must have wounded her so much. She was not able to regain the power she had during her past life that is why when she met Eve who had promised to help her get even, she did not hesitated to agree with her even if it would cost her whole life and soul in exchange. Dumoble pa ang pagkamuhi niya nang malaman ang tungkol sa akin and had made horrible things to ruin my life including the death of my mother. Now, I came to understand why Eve is always after me. She wants to destroy me because of her agreement with Daphne. Aside from that, she also has another hidden motive. She wants me completely dead because she's scared of Lilith, the real monster...and I could feel her nearing comeback.

"I can do something to help her."

Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa dalawang lalaking nag-uusap parin. Cameron's eyes were laced with pain and worry when we locked gazes but he immediately drew away to stare blankly at the glass window. Tatay, on the other hand, was looking at me intently like he's weighing everything and seeing all my suppressed emotions through my very soul.

"At least I know someone who can help us exorcise Lilith before she could even fully take over her body," the professor continued.

Seconds resulted to a minute of full silence until tatay decided to break it. "Let's do everything to save her."

"Good afternoon Professor Young," Cameron courteously greeted and shook hands with his former professor when it finally descended from the staircase.

He's with his beautiful wife Channing who look perfectly fine compared to the last time I saw her. Cameron and I did not mind the night as we drive going here to ask for their help. Professor Young turned to me and smiled. His wife did the same thing too.

"Please have a seat," Professor Young invited us back to the couch to sit which we courteously obliged.

"What took the both of you here at this hour?"

"We supposed to come here tomorrow morning but I remembered you telling me about you being more comfortable working at night."

The handsome professor chuckled and turned to look at her loving wife who smiled at him and us.

"My source of life is healthier at this hour of the night," he smilingly retorted and I suddenly wonder why.

I stared again at the woman. Tandang-tanda ko pa noong huli ko siyang nakita. May mga pasa siya at ang putla-putla niya pero ngayon ay wala na akong nakikita niisa sa mga iyon. When the two men keep mentioning about this hour of the night, I tried my very best to recall the time when they exorcised Annie. I didn't have much time to look at the clock or watch by then but I am sure that the sun was slowly rising when they came to our rescue. What's the correlation between time and Channing's health? She's probably a nocturnal person since it is merely implied that she's more active at night but how about her bruises and overall health? Perhaps her nocturnal habits affect her psychological functioning which could bring major impacts to her body's reaction. But is that even possib-

"I'm a vampire," the woman stated with a smile and without hesitation which got me totally blindsided.

"She looks stressing herself thinking too much about what kind of creature I am," Channing added.

My eyes went to Professor Young and then back to her, asking for some follow-up explanations. Is it even possible?

Sa halip na magkwento ay nagpatuloy sa pagtatanong si Professor Young sa pakay namin doon. Professor Cameron told him everything which confirmed his suspicion when he saw me at Annie's home.

He then ushered us to the staircase to go upstairs where they will be going to perform the exorcism before Lilith finally take me as her vessel.

Professor Young was briefing Cameron about the procedure first while his wife arranged the things we will be needing. I went near the full length mirror on the wall of that room and stared intently at my reflection. If the exorcism will not be successful then that would mean my body isn't mine anymore. I'm no longer the Coco they knew.

Ni sa hinagap ko, hindi ko inasahan ito. Kung nagpahula ba ako nanay noon pa maiiwasan ko to? Would I be able to change things before everything turns dreadful? I tried to reach for my reflection but my plan backfired when I suddenly noticed how my green eyes turned completely black for a split second. Hindi pwede. Nasa loob ko na siya.

Napansin ko ang repleksyon ni Professor Young na seryosong nakatingin sa akin. Cameron also turned his attention on me.

"Stay away from mirrors, Coco. It's a good conductor for otherworldly creatures' possession," he warned and I nodded before stepping away from it.

"Love, kindly cover everything that made of glass and reflects. Lilith can use them as her channel to Coco." Channing smiled and nodded to her husband's command then she willingly obliged.

Tumulong na rin si Cameron sa kanya at siniguradong hindi madaling mabubuksan ang mga iyon ng hangin.

Habang abala pa ang mga lalaki sa paghahanda ng mga gagamitin namin at sa paggawa ng malaking bilog gamit ang asin at ilan pang mga simbolo palibot sa uupuan namin ay nilapitan ko si Channing na pinapanood din sila.

"Was it easy?" I asked and she turned to look at me and smiled.

"I mean you're relationship. Hindi ba tutol ang mga magulang mo? You're a vampire and he's an exorcist whose family business established a very long time ago is bloody exorcism."

"To be frank, it wasn't. We've been through a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns. It was never easy."

She returned her eyes on her husband and her smile suddenly fell weak. I may not sense her emotion but I know that she's sad remembering what they've been through.

"I'm not actually a full blooded vampire. My father is a hybrid. My grandpa was an ancient vampire while my grandma was a Nodram."

"A black witch?"

"Yes but my mother has not just one but two amazing psychic abilities and one of which was an enhancing ability. Kaya niyang mas palakasin pa ang isang nilalang. Kaya mas nangibabaw sa akin ang pagiging bampira," she continued.

"Sigurado akong hindi agad sila sumang-ayon sa relasyon at pagpapakasal niyo," I said and she softly chuckled.

"Actually, I never told them about our relationship. When Atlas proposed to me and asked to meet my parents doon lamang ako umuwi sa amin at sinabi sa kanila ang lahat. Of course, it was a shocker for them. They wanted to meet him as well and I was hesitant at first but Atlas suddenly showed up on our hotel, introduced himself and asked my father for my hand in marriage. The thing here is, I never told him about my real identity also. When we first meet, I was a normal independent woman studying in college and the mortal world's sunlight didn't affect me that much because my father casted some spell on me to protect me and to prevent my thirst for blood so I succeeded in blending with them."

"Imagine my struggles to keep him alive in our place before our wedding day. Lahat ng nilalang sa hotel namin na kumakain ng tao naglalaway sa kanya but they are scared of my father so they didn't touched him. However, isang gabi nagulo na lang lahat nang malaman niya ang totoo tungkol sa pagkatao ko at nang mabuking din ni papa kung sino siya. I was surprised to found out too that he belongs to a clan of hunters and exorcists. Muntik pang hindi matuloy ang kasal namin nang sabihin niyang kaya niya akong gawing mortal. Galit na galit si papa at muntikan pa siyang ipakain kay Lady Incha but I warned him that I'll be gone forever if he do that. Sumakay din si mama sa ginawa ko at sinabing iiwan niya si papa kapag ginawa niya talaga iyon. Papa surrendered silently and said that we'll be the death of him," she once again chuckled softly and sighed.

"It was not easy but we fight lalo na sa pamilya niya."

I wanted her to keep narrating their love story but it halted when Professor Young called me.

"Coco, please sit here."

Nagpaalam muna ako kay Channing bago nagtungo at naupo sa upuang itinuro ni Professor Young habang ang huli naman ay nakaupo na kaharap ko. Channing stood beside him and I could feel Cameron's presence beside me. I looked up at him. He's smiling yet his eyes tell otherwise. He's worried about this whole thing. I can sense that it's bothering him.

"Everything will be fine, I promise. Just please...please comeback to me," he softly said while placing a hand on my right shoulder.

I smiled, a genuine smile at him before holding and squeezing his hand on my shoulder then I nodded. "I will." I really hope so.

"I still have a lot of things to tell you. Promise me you'll comeback," he added.

"Why not tell it to me right now?" I asked but he only shook his head.

"I want you to hold on to your promise so you'll comeback, sweetheart."

I felt my eyes brimming with tears but I still managed to smile. "I promise you."

It's a fifty-fifty chance of coming back but as much as I do not want to falter myself, I do not want to wipe out the remaining hope in his eyes. We released each other when Professor Young told us to get ready.

"You have to listen carefully, Coco. I cannot deny this but she's already inside of you," aniya sabay turo sa akin.

"She's just waiting for the right time to take over. Malakas siya at hindi madaling talunin kaya ang gagawin natin ay pipigilan siya sa lalong madaling panahon. You will be under a trance when I perform the exorcism and some manipulations will surely be done by her. Hindi ako sigurado kung saan ka makakapunta at sa kung anong panahon but I want you to be strong. Hear me?" I nodded.

"Kahit anong ipakita niya, labanan mo. Wag kang magpatalo at wag kang magpapakitang mahina ka. Gagawa siya ng ilusyon para sukatin kung hanggang saan ang kaya mo. But don't worry because we'll try our very best to help you from here. Now, close your eyes and empty your mind."

Before I could close my eyes, I witnessed how Professor Young placed his two hands in the both sides of my temple and I caught a glimpse of light emitting from them.

A vast white emptiness greeted me when I once again opened my eyes. However, it did not last because I suddenly felt like falling and before I knew it, I was transported into a whole new scene.

"Coco, halika na."

Napatingin ako sa pamilyar na boses na tumawag sa akin. Kumunot ang noo ko nang maabutan ang nakapameywang na si Winona dala-dala ang isang sling bag at maleta habang nakataas ang isang kilay.

"Ha?" Naguguluhan kong tanong sa kanya.

"Ano ba?! Aalis na yong barko! Maiiwan na tayo! Ayusin mo na yang mga dala mo."

Napatingin naman ako sa bitbit kong malaking sling bag kung saan nagulat ako lalo na nang sumungaw ang ulo ng pusang si Thygo mula roon. What the bloody hell is happening?

Kailangan kong maliwanagan. Nag-angat ako ng tingin kay Winona at nagtanong "Saan tayo pupunta?"

I was on the verge of not believing that this woman in front of me was the real Winona but she rolled her eyes on me and fired me with her usual sarcastic reply which the real one frequently do.

"Sa Abseiles, duh. Papasok ako sa Spellbound para kuhanin ang wand ko at ikaw naman-bakit ka nga ulit nagpumilit sumama sa akin?"

Kumunot ang noo ko. Anong gagawin ko sa Abseiles? Dumapo ulit ang paningin ko sa pusang nakahalukipkip sa loob ng bag ko na umirap sa hangin na para bang ang tanga-tanga ko.

"We'll be going there to answer your questions and to help me break this stupid curse. Ilang taon ka na ba witch at ang ulyanin mo na?"

Suminghap ako upang pigilan ang sarili kong sakalin sa leeg ang pilosopong pusa na ito. Mabuti na lang at meow lang ang naririnig ni Winona mula sa kanya.

"I want to know the truth," I said like as if I am sure that it is my real purpose for coming with her to an unknown place.

Tumango si Winona at hindi na nagtanong pa. Tumalikod na siya at inaya na akong maglakad papasok sa isang malaking barko. It looks like a cruise to me.

Nang igala ko naman ang paningin ko sa paligid ay wala naman akong napapansing kakaiba. The passengers we are with look like simple humans.

"They're not mere humans. Some are Fandralls, demigods, psychics, and superhumans. Tandaan mo Coco bawal ang tao roon sa Abseiles," Winona reminded me when we finally settled on a two-sitter table near the glass window overlooking the ocean.

I nodded still trying to figure out everything. One second I was in the room with Professor Young and the others, then to a vast white emptiness and the next thing I know I was with Winona on a trip going to Abseiles. I shut my eyes closed and massage my temples. Dinig ko ang pagtayo ni Winona mula sa kinauupuan niya kaya bahagya akong napatingin sa kanya.

"It must be seasickness. I will get you some medication. Just wait here."

"Thank you." Kahit ang suplada niya minsan alam kong nag-aalala siya.

I continued massaging my temples. Now, I remembered I am under a trance so this is probably illusionary.

Napatingin ako sa ibabaw ng mesa nang tumalon doon ang maliit at mabalahibong asungot. He was squinting like he needed some glasses or like I did something lethal.

"What?" I asked.

"What the hell is wrong with you witch?"

"Not now, Thygo. Masakit ang ulo ko."

"Don't you dare tell me you're backing out now. We already planned this. We'll go to Abseiles to find answers to some of your bothering questions and to break my curse."

"I know, I know. I just need some little rest."

Thygo's censorious and scrutinizing eyes lingered on me.

"There's something wrong with you. The first second you were so eager to come here, you nearly choke me to death inside your goddamn bag and then the next thing I know, you seem like you do not know anything at all."

"Enlighten me then. I suddenly felt like everything went too fast and I felt lost," I said, a matter of fact.

Nagpatuloy siya sa masusing pagsusuri sa akin pero hindi na siya nagsalita pa. He looked away before breaking the silence.

"Your mother visited me on my dreams a few days ago. She said we have to go to Abseiles to find answers for you and to break my curse. She reminded me that I cannot break free from it without you so we have to come there together. We need to find the Great Count of the West because he will help us."

Napaupo ako nang maayos dahil sa narinig mula sa kanya. Nanay visited him on his dream? But why not on mine?

"Who is the Great Count of the West she's referring to?" I asked then he turned to me and shrugged.

"Don't have even the slightest idea."

Thygo padded his paws to go to the edge of the table and lay there to sleep. But I know very well that he's not sleeping, he's just pretending to be because Winona is approaching us with a tray of food and some medication.

"Ayos ka lang?" Winona asked while slowly caressing my back and pulling my hair aside while I vomit everything I have consumed.

Dinig na dinig ko pa ang halakhak ng lintek na pusa sa isang tabi. I shot him a glare but he only smirked.

Nagpatuloy ako sa pagsuka. Sino ba naman ang hindi masusuka sa pagkalula kung ang barkong sinasakyan niyo ay biglang sumuong sa uli-uli o sa alimpuyo sa tubig. No one briefed me about that bloody whirlpool!

Alam kong nasa Pacific Ocean kami at malapit sa Bermuda Triangle but Winona never told me that the portal going to Abseiles through ocean trip was a massive whirlpool for Pete's sake! It scared me to death!

Kinuha ko mula sa kamay ni Winona ang tissue at pinunas iyon sa gilid ng bibig ko. Then I opened the faucet to wash my hands. She handed me a bottle of water and I drink from it.

The whirlpool took us to a flooded bus terminal. The floodwater was clean though but it already ruined my royal blue maxi skirt.

"Ayos ka na?" She asked and I just nodded.

A thousand arguments thundered across my tongue and mind but I hastily swallowed them back. It feels like I have vomited all my energy including the reserved supplies.

Lumabas na kami ng banyo at nagtungo sa mga nakapilang bus. Sumakay kami sa bus na ang biyahe ay papuntang Kapitolyo. Magkatabi kami ni Winona at ako ang nakaupo malapit sa bintana. Thygo was pretending to be asleep on my lap once again. Instead of choking him with my very own hands, I was softly stroking his fur while plotting his barbaric murder inside my mind.

All I can see from where I am sitting were trees and many more trees on the duration of our trip to the Capital. When Winona began briefing me about Abseiles and the Capital, I listened intently.

"We can actually use magic when travelling here." Really? There's no need for bloody whirlpool and such?

"Wow. You should have told me earlier!" I hissed.

"But it's illegal. Fandrall guards will easily track us when we do that and we'll just be surprised to see them waiting for us on the end of the portal we made out of our magic. Natuto na sila simula nang tumakas si Harriet."

She shot me a sideward glance and by the manner of how she addressed nanay, I know she's just being careful not to get us both caught.

"Only powerful wizards and witches can actually make a portal spell. So, whoever help her must really be a powerful one," she added.

"Coco as much as I want you to stay at our place but I cannot. My grandmother is part of the council of elders and it won't take her a second to find out that you are your nanay's daughter," she said almost a whisper.

"I understand. They are still not over it." I drifted my eyes off her and unto the window. My faraway look might have suggested silence between us.

"But you can stay here."

Napatingin ako sa kanya nang iabot niya sa akin ang isang itim na calling card. Kinuha ko iyon mula sa kanya at binasa. Hotel Grimm.

"Nasa West Region yan and I am sure that you will feel more comfortable there since the place looks just like the mortal world. They are considered the most liberated region. Ibang-iba sa tradisyunal na East and North Region but please do not go near the South dahil teritoryo na iyon ng mga Nodram."

"Bakit mo nasabing katulad ng mortal world ang West Region?" I asked, curious of what's in there.

"The 101th leader also called as the mayor of the West Region married a psychic from the mortal world who he had taken to Abseiles. Naging masaya sila hanggang sa bigla na lamang napansin ng mayor na nalulumbay ang kanyang asawa dahil namimiss na nito ang mundong pinanggalingan. So, he ordered to structured the whole place after the mortal world so that his wife would feel less lonely. They also accept superhumans and psychic there," she narrated.

"Do you happen to know the Great Count of the West?" Tanong ko nang mapansing napunta na sa West ang usapan namin.

"Hindi, bakit?"

"Pinapahanap kasi siya sa akin ni nanay."

"Magtanong ka na lang doon pagdating niyo pero huwag na huwag mong babanggitin ang tungkol sa nanay mo, Coco. Is it clear?"

I nodded like an obedient puppy to her master.

"Nalagyan ko na ng spell ang cellphone mo. Just call me if you need me. Hanggang dito na lang ako, Coco. Sana mag-ingat ka," aniya sabay bigay ng cellphone ko matapos niya iyong lagyan ng spell para magamit ko rito sa Abseiles. However, it's only her digits that I can contact. Kararating lang namin sa Kapitolyo ng Abseiles.

"Makakaasa ka Winona." I smiled to assure her. I can sense her worries towards me.

Nagpaalam na muli kami sa isa't isa. But before she left us, she hailed a cab for me. We sat on the backseat and Thygo quickly jumped away from me to sit beside me.

"Sa Hotel Grimm po tayo mano-" nahinto ako sa pagsasalita nang mag-angat ako ng tingin sa drayber ng taxi na sinasakyan namin.

Nang mapansin ang gulantang kong ekspresyon sa rear view mirror na nasa harapan ay nilingon niya ako.

"Sa Hotel Grimm po ang punta niyo ma'am?"

"Yes please," Thygo retorted for me and the driver wasn't even shocked to hear him talk like as if it's a normal thing here.

Tumango ang drayber at binuhay na ang kanyang sasakyan. I turned to the nonchalant cat and secretly pointed the driver.

"He's a bloody skeleton," I whispered incredulously.

He nodded in agreement and said, "Alive and talking."

"Ipagkakatiwala mo ang buhay natin sa isang kalansay?" Di makapaniwalang dagdag ko.

Thygo rolled his eyes and turned his back on me before lying flat on his stomach. "Welcome to Abseiles."

The whole three hours of our drive to Hotel Grimm did little to lessen my discomfort. Nawala lamang iyon nang makarating na kami sa Kanluran. Winona already told me about its big similarities with the mortal world but that did not stop me to still marvel at the obvious. The entrance of the West Region is really similar to the structure of Champs Elysées Avenue in Paris. When we get further, the buildings, establishment, streets, style of clothing, everything just seem humane.

"Manong, saan po tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko nang bigla niyang iliko paakyat sa isang burol ang sasakyan.

"Ito po ang daan papuntang Hotel Grimm ma'am," tugon niya.

Thygo went near the other window to also look at the outside view of the place.

"Sigurado po kayo?" Paninigurado ko.

"Opo ma'am."

Napalunok ako nang muling balingan ang labas ng bintana. We're nearing a gloomy, dead and dark forest.

"You know what witch, I'll be more useful if you return me to my human form," suhestiyon ni Thygo nang mapansin ang kaba ko.

I was faking my laugh at his suggestion to hide my increasing anxiety as we approach the forest. The bald reclining trees slowly rise to pave us the way. Thygo's expression turned wicked when he noticed that I'm nervous.

"I have heard from Sigurd a long time ago that this forest was called the Undead Forest. Zombie-like creatures roamed around here. They are dead but not really. Dear, I'm sorry to say this but a mere cat cannot do anything to save the damsel. The same also goes to this lanky skeleton we have here. He has little or should I say no muscles to protect you at a-"

"Zmiana," I mumbled cutting him, considering all the possibilities he had mentioned.

Tawang-tawa ang buang sa ginawa ko. I darted him a glare but that didn't give him even the slightest effect. I mumbled something again. Natigil siya sa pagtawa nang hawakan ang mga tenga niyang nasa ibabaw na ng ulo niya. He knows that I do not want to make him a cat again, at least not now so I turned his ears cat like instead.

"What the!"

"Looks cute on you though."

Nakahinga ako nang maluwag nang makalabas na kami ng kagubatan na iyon. Thank God nothing horrible happen while we're there.

Napatingin akong muli sa tahimik na si Thygo sa kabilang banda ko. Nakatukod ang isang siko niya sa bintana. His perfectly angled chin settled on the back of his palm. He also has this faraway look on his eyes. May iniisip siya.

"I know I'm a pretty man but it's rude to keep staring," he said without looking at me.

"Kapal. You've been here before? You seem to know a lot."

"Nope but you still remember Sigurd?"

"The big man who put me inside your car when I saw you killed a Leviathan?" I asked while recalling that instance.

"Yes, he used to tell me a lot of stories about Abseiles when I was young."

"Isn't he still working in your mafia?" He shook his head in respond.

"He was one of the highest paid hitmen and assassins in his time but he suddenly felt guilty. You know, it's very unusual for a beast like him to feel guilt but he really did."

"So, he withdrew from us and transferred here to become the head security of Hotel Grimm. Every now and then, he will still comeback to the mortal world and narrate me some stories. However, the very last time I saw him was the first time you two met. I never heard from him again," he resumed.

"Nandito na po tayo."

The cab stopped in front of a hotel. Huge and marvelous are an understatement to describe it. We paid the driver before getting out of his cab. We watched him drove away before we went near the gigantic double doors with intricate carvings of gold in sync with its white painted surface.

Before we could even knock on the front door, it swung open. Dalawang maliliit na lalaking nakatuxedo na hanggang beywang ko lang ang tangkad ang nagbukas sa amin ng pinto. Naabot nila yon?

Pumasok kami ni Thygo sa loob at pareho kaming namangha sa nakita namin. Creatures of all kinds are wandering in the lobby. Ang mas nakapagpagulat pa sa akin ay isang malaking aquarium ang mga pader at kisame ng hotel. But what inside it were not just the typical sea creatures. May mga sirenang kumakaway sa amin habang nakangiti.

Hindi mapawi ang ngiti ko habang nakatingala at pinagmamasdan sila. This hotel made my version of fairytale come true. Napatabi ako nang may dumaang tatlong lalaking maliliit na kamukhang-kamukha ng mga nagbukas sa amin ng pinto kanina. They were carrying some luggage and bags.

"Are they dwarves?" I asked Thygo.

"Ang kwento ni Sigurd sa akin ay mga leprechauns sila. Let's go ask for some rooms."

Lumapit kami sa babaeng nakatalikod na nasa front desk. She spun around to see us and instantaneously plastered a warm welcoming smile on her face when she saw us.

"Welcome to Hotel Grimm."

Doon ko lang din napansin ang kulay ng buhok niya. It's white in color and was pinned on a bun. Her face is pale also and was only given some color by her makeup. However, she's still beautiful. The kind that reminds me so much of Queen Elsa from Frozen.

"We want a room for two," Thygo stated.

"Two beds please," I added. It wasn't such a big of a deal for me if we shared the same room. I can always turn him into cat in just a snap.

"Okay, a room with two beds."

"Miss Kyrine," tawag ko sa front desk matapos kong sulyapan nang mabilisan ang kanyang suot na pin.

"Do you happened to know who's the Great Count of the West?"

Napawi ang ngiti sa mukha ni Kyrine at napalitan iyon ng gulat subalit mabilis din naman siyang nakabawi.

"He's Count Vladimir Grimm, ma'am. The owner of the Hotel Grimm." Tila nabuhayan ako sa sagot niya.

"Really? Where is he?"

"He died five years ago, ma'am," malungkot niyang sagot sa akin.
