Mabel's pov

Next day

While we were eating (btw Y/N is a great cook), Y/N seemed spaced out. I am curious why.

----Time Skip----

I ran up to Dipper since he was packing up his backpack with random stuff.

"So do you want to go mystery hunting?? You know just the two of us. Mystery twins."

"I thought you didn't like that??"

"I'm warming up to it."

"What about Y/N??"

"I am giving her another day to rest. Ready??"

"Yeah, Got your journal??"

"Yup"

"Then let's go."

And we ran out the door.

Y/N's pov

I got to my room which is kinda boring. I miss the attic. While I was looking around to see what I could do in here to make it more me, I saw Dipper and Mabel run got the door. They are probably giving me another day to rest but honestly I feel fine. The thing Bill gave me really worked.  Well I guess I could go to the mall or something and get some stuff for my room. Wait does Gravity Falls even have a mall?? I don't even know. Maybe instead I can go hang out with Wendy and her friends instead and later ask her. I got out my phone and called her.

"Oh hey Y/N what's up??"

"Nothing much. Do you think I could hang out with you and your friends??"

"Sure, we going to pick you, Dipper, and Mabel up in just a sec."

"No it's just me. Dipper and Mabel left and went on a mystery hunt."

"They didn't invite you?? That's odd. Well we are almost there."

"Okay."

Sure enough they were here a few minutes after we hung up. I got my phone and got into the van.

Dipper's pov

We ran off you started to look for this mailbox that is suppose to know everything. The author never found it though. I was going to ask it who was the author but Mabel wanted to ask it something first. What she wants to ask it, I have no clue. But I am excited that we could find it before the author did!! Then all my excitement went away. I feel bad about not inviting Y/N. 

"Mabel stop."

"What's wrong bro bro??"

"We should set up camp while there is still light." I dropped my bags and so did Mabel. I pulled out my phone and it as 9:00. "Ok you sent up the tent while find some wood."

After about an hour, we had camp set up, dinner cooking, and a plan for tomorrow.

Wonder what Y/N is doing?? I pulled out my phone to check if I could get a signal and to my surprise there was. This town is weird. I started to text Y/N.

"What's up??" I asked her.

"Nothing much. Just hanging out with Wendy and her friends. Hbu??" she replied

"Camping in the woods. Sorry I didn't invite you..."

"Oh its fine. I am having fun here. Trashing random things. We broke in to an old store. Then Wendy and I are going to the mall. Did you know that they have a mall here??"

"Sounds fun and no. I did not know they had a mall here."

"So how is the mystery hunt?? What are you hunting for??"

"They hunt isn't has fun as I thought it would be. We are hunting for a mailbox that can answer anything. Tell Stan that we won't be back until tomorrow."

"Okay bye."

"Bye"

After camp was set up, I picked up my phone to see what time it was. 9:30, not too bad. I went to put my phone back but I accidentally called Y/N. She picked up.

"Umm... hey??" she asked confused.

"Sorry didn't mean to..." I replied.

"No, it's fine. Anyways Stan is a little mad that you didn't tell him but he will get over it. Tell Mabel I will bring her home some smile dip. Bye

And she hung up.
