Dipper has mixed feelings about returning to Gravity Falls. On one hand, he is excited, he gets to see his friends again and on the other, he is nervous, things the exactly turn out well the last time he was there. It was four years ago and just before his fourteenth birthday, Dipper may or may not have convinced everyone that Bill was back. Dipper isn't one to cry wolf, well- okay that's not true, but he doesn't take it lightly. He always has circumstantial proof, and he swears even to this day that he saw Bill but his therapist said it may have just been PTSD.

"Hey, Dip. You okay?" Ru asked Dipper as he looked out of the bus window.

"I'm fine Ruru, it's just-"

"Yeah, I remember. You were pretty shaken up after the last time you visited."

Dipper shuffled further away from Ru, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Too bad. You're going to need to talk about this with someone," Ru crossed her arms, she didn't want to cross Dipper's boundaries but she knows this will help him. "I don't know what happened in Gravity Falls but it was obviously traumatic."

"Ru, I really don't want to talk about this."

"When you get to Gravity Falls you're going to be faced with all of your trauma, you really should talk about it before then," Ru insisted.

Dipper shook his head before turning away from his best friend, "No."

Ru sighed, "Fine."

Dipper turned away from Ru and looked at his twin sister and her best friend Jesse talking. Dipper has always been told he looks like the girl version of Mabel but he can't see it, if you look close enough it's easy to spot the differences. Dipper is shorter than Mabel, his hair is lighter and he has blue eyes but Mabel is taller, has dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. Jesse is a year older than Mabel and Dipper, she has beautiful curly hair, black eyes and bronze skin.

Sometimes when he looked at Mabel, he wondered if they even survived the same experience. If they share the same trauma, Mabel had adjusted so well the high school and to life after Weirdmageddon, while when he slept at night he still had nightmares about Bill.

Then again he knew his twin sister, she always looks at the bright side of things, that's what she's best that and that's why she's good at hiding.

"What trauma could you possibly have from a small beat up town?" An annoying voice from the front of him asked.

"Can it!" Ru snapped at Theseus.

"Or what? You'll scratch me with your nails?"

"Yeah, and trust me, they draw blood," Ru ran her nail softly over the bus chair, despite not applying any pressure, her claws cut the fabric.

Theo rolled his eyes before turning away from the pair. "Talking about advice, when are you going to fix that?"

"That's already fixed." Ru and Theo had dated a while back, Ru still refers to it as her biggest mistake.

"It's been a year since you two broke up and all you do is argue," Dipper countered.

"That was what it was like before we dated, it's the same after. Theseus is an arsehole, always has been, always will be. The only reason why we dated was because somewhere in my confused heteronormativite mind I thought he was hot."

"Right." The last thing Dipper wanted was to listen to how his best friend thought his bully was hot.

"Anyways... Tell me all about your friends in Gravity Falls."

"My friends?" He questioned. Dipper knew what this was, just a trick to get him to open up about his trauma but he didn't mind, for the last four years of friendship Dipper has wanted nothing more but for Ru to meet his Gravity Falls family. "So, there is Grenda and Candy, Mabel's best friends. Grenda is in Austria with her boyfriend Baron Marius von Fundshauser."

"Damn, that's a huge name."

"Yeah, he's a duke." Dipper snickered at Ru face, the light haired girl was staring at him with disbelief. "There is also Tambry, Robbie, Thompson, Nate and Lee, they're Wendy's friends, I doubt you will see much of them."

"Ohhh, Wendy~" Ru teased with a smirk, Dipper's cheeks reddened, while dating Theo may be Ru's great mistake, telling Ru about his adolescent crush on Wendy was his.

"Shut up!" He buried his face in his jacket.

"I'm just teasing, it's fine! I mean, we've all had embarrassing crushes."

"Like your crush on Solace."

"What can I say? Mean girls are hot."

"Then you will love Pacifica."

"Pacifica? Isn't she the person funding this?" A voice from behind them asked, Dipper turned to see Rhydian Sterling and Leigh-Anne Kwon seated next to him.

"Um- yeah. She's letting us stay at her manor."

"Is she hot?" Ru asked.

Dipper shuffled uncomfortably, after Weirdmageddon Pacifica became like a younger sister to him, especially after she started living with Soos and Melanie. She lived with the couple for a year until her thirteenth birthday when her parents finally let her go back home. "She's definitely your type."

Ru grinned at the idea of a cute mean girl.

"Do you know the people who own the Mystery Shack?" Rhydian asked Dipper.

"Yeah, the owner's name is Soos Ramirez, him, his wife and their two daughters live in the Mystery Shack, my grand uncles used to own the shack by they are at sea."

Leigh-Anne nodded at the new information, "They are your 'grunkles'?" She recalled the word from their class last Friday.

"Yes, my grand uncle Stan and Ford, Mabel and I called them grunkle for short."

"That's so cute," Leigh-Anne said in awe.

"Thanks, I guess."

"So are you guys excited for this camp? Personally I can't wait, I actually lived in Gravity Falls a few years back," it was no surprise Rhydian was excited for this camp, the boy was excited for everything but what did leave Dipper in shock was that fact that Rhydian used to live in Gravity Falls.

Dipper froze, does this mean Rhydian knows about Weirdmageddon? He asked himself. "What did you think about Gravity Falls?" His voice cracked, Ru raised an white eyebrow.

"I didn't really get to leave the house much when I lived there," Rhydian voice was cold and sad, very different from the one he was using only seconds ago.

Leigh-Anne hugged Rhydian, "Little house gremlin," she retorted, though something about her voice sounded fake, yet maternal.

"12 miles until we reach Gravity Falls! Class organise your bags, we'll be there soon!"
