Chapter 60 - Meeting the family
A/N: This is the last update for the week, I have my End Of Year exams next week and won't be online much. As soon as it's Friday I will update the next chapter!
Allison's POV:
The limo door opens for me and I give a thankful gesture to the driver as both Michael and I step out.
"Woah.." I whisper in awe, the place is truly beautiful- of course not as beautiful as Neverland, though.
"Welcome to Hayvenhurst! My family will be inside expecting us, so let's go inside then, shall we?" Michael takes my hand, looking for my answer.
"Uh-yeah! Okay, let's go." I smile back at him, taking his hand as he leads us to the door.
Oh Lord, he's rung the doorbell- OMG. I'm about to meet them all- this is crazy!
I'm too lost in thought to realise the door has been opened!
"Michael!" His mother Katherine embraces him, "And you are Allison, right?" She looks at me. I smile and say, "Yeah, it's very nice to meet you Mrs. Jackson!"
She quickly embraces me in a very warm and welcoming hug to which I hug back.
"Oh please, call me Katherine! You're dating my son, aren't you?"
"Aha- yeah, something like that." I chuckle nervously. They don't know we're getting married so, they're going to find out today.
"Mother, where is everyone?" Michael asks as we walk inside their home.
"Oh they're all out back, go introduce them to her, will you?" Katherine pats his arm, "I need to go get some snacks, I'll be right back." She continues.
"Okay." Michael nods, dragging me to the patio. It's then that I see all the Jacksons standing and chatting in the garden, having a great time. I feel myself suddenly getting extremely shy- there is a lot of them...

Michael and I step outside and all heads turn to us, "Hey Mike, who's this?" Starts Jackie.
"Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Allison Skylars, and she's a keeper, I'm never letting her go." He assures them that our relationship is real.
"Cool, nice choice! But uh- you are famous or...?" Jackie continues with an iffy tone in his voice.
Of course they'd expect Michael to date a celebrity, I knew I wouldn't be good enough.
"Nope. Not famous. At. All. Starbucks employee, actually." I say with awkwardness and embarrassment.
"That's cool! Michael never seems to have luck with celebrities, I'm glad you aren't famous!" Tito steps in. I feel a pang of relief lifted off my chest as he rather me be normal than famous.
"Glad to see meh brotha found himself a ladeh!" Marlon nudges Michaels arm with humour.
Michael blushes a deep crimson red, but I giggle along too.
"Okay well, I'm going to assume you know them but, this is Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine, Randy," Michael says pointing to them each, and I smile at them all, "And for the sisters, we have Janet who you've already met, La Toya, and Rebbie!"
The girls smile eagerly and Janet instantly pulls me in for a hug to which I return.
I feel a lot more comfortable now, they have all accepted me.
Within an instant of everyone chatting and mingling, Janet tugs me vigorously to the side,"Girl!!" She whispers hoarsely, "I better know my brother didn't put a ring on it!" She grins whilst whispering. She saw the ring, luckily nobody else has- it's a surprise.
"Oh my gosh, I know. He did. He did, Janet! I can't believe it! And that's why we are here today, to announce our marriage! He proposed yesterday and it was the cutest thing in the world, eek!" I silently squeal.
"Now I gotta try and keep my mouth shut until dinner!" Janet laughs.
"Damn right you will!" I reply sassily in a humorous manner. My gut churns at the thought of dinner time approaching soon.
