After a while we separated and I had my head on his shoulder
"Hey..."
"What?" I lifted my head up and looked at him with a worried expression
"Is it safe?"
"Safe? What is?"
"The last time the Blue Kingdom held a ball, your parents were murdered"
I looked down
"You're right. That was the reason why I stopped with all the party's"
"...."
I then looked up
"I never wanted that to happen again, but, the more I think about it I see that I was only worried about myself. I didn't want to die the same way they did"
"I don't see that"
Karma placed his hand on mine
I looked up at him
"You're strong. You've been leading this Kingdom without anyone leading you"
I smiled
"Stop lying. You're way more impressive, you've been the King ever since we met"
He chuckled
"Yeah, I'm really awesome" he smirked
I smiled
"But, is it safe?"
"Yeah, Asano has his men located everywhere in the castle"
"Why isn't he with you?"
"Eh? What do you mean?
"He just let a stranger come and take you away. I must say He's doing a bad job"
"Now that I think about it, he wasn't by my side when you came"

I stood up and saw a soldier walking/patrolling the main door
"Do you know where your captain is?" I asked
He looked up since I was on the balcony
"No your Majesty"
"I see"
"Something isn't right" Karma said
"Yeah, I go look for him"
"Wait!" He grabbed my wrist
"What?"
"I'll go with you"
"Ok"
We both then headed inside to search for Asano
