A young boy jogged into a nearby town, completely out of breath. A Bellsprout rested on his head as he found the lab. He caught his breath before entering, looking around for the professor. The whole building was rather quiet as he gulped. Did he get the wrong location?

"Yes?"

He jumped before spinning around, seeing an elder standing there. He couldn't find the strength to speak before the elder noticed Bellsprout.

"Ah! Bellsprout! So you did get someone to safety. Excellent job." He then bent down to the smaller boy. "It's ok. I won't hurt you. My name's Professor Oak." He took a steady breath before shaking his hand.

"Cloud..." Was all he could manage before his voice went soft. The professor smiled before looking at his watch.

"Well, we'll have two others here shortly. Why don't we get you checked over and set?"

Cloud was able to get some food before a loud set of voices entered the lab, spooking him.

"Professor! Oat and Bone reporting to duty!" He shuddered as the Professor went over to whoever had entered.

"Welcome! Come on to the back. And lower your voices." Cloud softly sipped at the drink he was given as two kids came in. The boy was about to ask when the Professor spoke. "Alright! Now that we have everyone here, let's get some things out." He gave the trio Pokedexes before showing two pokeballs. "I have Magby and Horsea left." He sent the Fire and Water types out before the other two picked up one each, not needing to argue. "Great. THen we can get onto the main meeting. You guys will travel Vesryn and fill up the Pokedex. Got it?" They nodded before he smiled. "Then good luck to you three."

"Hey!"

Cloud jumped as Oat and Bone ran over to him.

"You never introduced yourself!" He paused before whispering.

"To be fair, I don't exactly know you two either." The boy frowned.

"In that case, I'm Oat, Member of the Amirrima clan." The girl hummed.

"Bone. Vesryn Work Force Member." He gulped.

"Cloud." He then lowered his head as they paused.

"That's it? No title?" He shook his head as he hugged Bellsprout. He finally ran off, hoping to avoid this.

They left him alone as he calmed down, watching Bellsprout as it cheered him up with a little dance. He knew he would have to face them, but he was nothing in comparison.
