"The ceremony." Thalia said. "The one that will turn you and your friends into werewolves."

She looked down from the sky and to Amy. "We should be going. It was great to see you again Amy."

The pink hedgehog smiled at the wolf. "It was wonderful to see you both, too." She walked over to mates and hugged them in turn. Shadow said it was nice to meet you and shook their hands.

Thalia and Keal left and Shadow and any went back inside.

"Would you like to go to bed?" she questioned. I nodded and she took my hand. We walked in the bedroom and lay down together. (Pretty sure lay is correct.) I held her in my arms and she was in my chest fur. I felt so warm inside and smiled.

Then I herd her whisper to me, almost inaudible, "I love you." With that she was asleep.

My heart raced at those three words. I hugged her tighter and whispered it back. "I love you, too Rose."

She snuggled in deeper as I said those three small words. The three words that make and break a relationship.

She soon fell asleep and I listened to her steady breathing. In that moment, I realized that I loved her so much and nothing could change that.

With this realization, I slowly let sleep succumb me.

I awoke to the sensation of being cold. My eyes opened and I realized that my pink angel was gone.

I flung the covers off of myself and darted to the door, yelling her name in a complete panic.

I ran down the stairs and saw her with a worried expression on her delicate features.

"Shadow?" she asked. "What's wrong?"

I walked over to her and hugged her, giving her a light kiss on the forehead.

"I woke up and you were missing," I explained. "I thought the worst had come and ran to find you." After saying these words I lay my forehead on hers and held her face gently as she held my hands.

"You won't ever loose me," she said softly, calming my nerves.

I pecked her on the cheek. "We should probably be going," I said. She nodded in agreement. We walked out of the house and into the clearing and through the woods back to camp.

The next few weeks passed pretty much the same. We went to school, then went to camp and prepared, then we went back to our cottage in the woods for quiet evenings. When the time came to tell my parents we were mates, they were delighted that it was my beautiful Rose and not someone else. That night we celebrated.

Then, the time came for our initiation. Many different species came and and everyone was nervous especially me. We had to announce that we were to be mates and run the pack. Of course, with the help of everyone, we were able to pull it off without a hitch.

Everything finally was perfect.
