Part 186: This is Not a Drill

Medea was crying still.

The vines were everywhere. The whole area was a mass of them. Monama had pulled her behind a tree and a weapons rack, but they were still getting hemmed in.

"You need to get a grip!" Monama shook her. "We need your fire." He reached out and burned through some of the vines as they got too close. "Fire is actually Ibara's weakness. We could stop her...or slow her down, at least. I mean, she's still resistant, but if you expose it for long enough..."

"I'm a wreck..." Medea moaned, "I'm sorry, I...I can't think with Lethe.. I'm pathetic. All this time, and I know...and yet I can't stand up to him."

"I think you tried," Monama said.

"Not hard enough..." Medea covered her face. "I almost agreed to.... How could I be so stupid?!"

"You were trying to help me," Monama said.

"I know. That was all I could think of. I couldn't fight him!" Medea was refusing to be dissuaded from her self hatred spiral. "Why couldn't I just fight him...?"

Monama didn't know what to do.

"Hey!" He grabbed her hands and pulled them away from her face. "Look at me." Medea looked up.

"Whatever Lethe said to you, he's not right," Monama said, "He's been brainwashed by the Originals, got it? So just ignore it. Think of it as it wasn't really him talking. If it was a ninja saying that to you, would you listen?"

"Well, no..."

"Then there you go. Just think of him as a ninja."

"But he's still my brother," Medea said.

"Would your brother do that to Ibara?" Monama said.

Medea bit her lip. "Maybe he would..."

"The point is, you can't try to figure this out now," Monama said, "You can talk about it later, when we're out of this, but for now, you need to pretend he's not here. Can you do that?"

Medea bit her lip. "I...I can try..."

"Great!" Monama said, "That's all I needed to hear."

"You're kind of being weird right now..." Medea said, "I mean, weirder than usual..."

"Great, you're back to normal," Monama said.

Medea's face wavered. "Uh...no, I don't think so..."

"Maybe this will help." Monama kissed her.

Medea gaped at him.

"Sorry, I've heard that can help people calm down," Monama said.

[It's actually true. I learned that from another fan fic, of all things (His pain, BakugoxCamie fic, high in angst and trauma, some smut that I skipped. Read at your own risk). Also hugging can help, though not always if one's having a panic attack. Depends on the person. It helps me. It doesn't help people with social anxiety usually though.]

"Uh huh..." Medea said blankly, "Right...um, maybe we should escape this, huh?"

"Yes, good idea." Monama was glad she was out of it.

Why had he done that? It had worked...but he didn't usually think of ideas like that.... Still, she'd done it before, so it just kind of made sense it would work, right?

It wasn't that she was cute or anything...right?

He did not have a crush! She was crazy!

Wait, wasn't he supposed to be setting stuff on fire right now?

He started to burn the vines.

* * *

Everyone else was having just as much trouble. Shine couldn't even see the others, she was so busy cutting through vines.

Iida was trying to dodge them and kick through them, but he was getting hemmed in.

Kayla had just backed up and tried to look like she wasn't with them, but it was doubtful that would fool anyone for long.

* * *

Mirko and Shigaraki had gone thoroughly over the barracks they were in and found some prisoners...but not Ibara.

They got those prisoners out by beating up the guards (Mirko's idea) and getting the code from them.

But they were still barricaded inside.

Mirko peered out the window.

"They'll shoot us the second we opened that door," she muttered, "This wasn't a very good plan."

"It was your idea," Shigaraki said.

"I didn't hear you making any suggestions," Mirko said.

He didn't have a retort for that.

"Who are you?" one of the prisoners asked in English.

"Hero." Miro pointed to herself. "And not important." Pointing at Shigaraki.

"You're a hero?" the prisoners said oddly, "A real one, or is this a drill?"

"If it's a drill why would I tell you it's a drill?" Mirko said.

"So we know if we're supposed to fight you or not," the prisoner said flatly.

"What?" Mirko said oddly.

About this time, she heard the commotion outside. It had all happened rather fast.

"Something going on..." She put her ear to the wall. "D---, there's no window here. I can't see."

"That sounds like the quad over to the right," said one prisoner, "We train there a lot. The drill might be happening."

"What are they saying?" Shigaraki demanded.

"Something about a drill. They think we're just faking this," Mirko said, "and I don't know what kind of voodoo brainwashing they've been put under, so I'm playing along."

"How could they be brainwashed into thinking we're the problem here?" Shigaraki said, "They were in cells."

Mirko was dying to say, "the same way you're brainwashed into thinking AFO is actually trying to help you," but she knew better than to say that right now.

"Brainwashing isn't based on logic," she said instead.

"Are you speaking Japanese?" one person asked.

"Yeah, so?" Mirko said.

"Oh...I just thought it's odd you're drilling us. The Japanese recruits are in a different barracks." They shrugged. "They train with us some days. They just got some new people though, so they've been more confined."

"Oh...and this is part of the test, can you tell me how that works?" Mirko said.

The prisoners shrugged. "Okay...um...well, we study about the world and the problems in it and the benefits of the village...and we're given choices whether to train here and join the fight or just live in the safety of the village. All of us chose to train. Quirks really are the worst evil to befall mankind. But they keep us in the cells to protect us from anyone who might try to hunt us down before our purification is complete... Did you want to know more about the training?"

With her English, Mirko wasn't 100% sure she understood that, but she got enough to be freaked out.

She repeated it to Shigaraki.

"That's kind of genius," Shigaraki said, "in a sick way."

"If even you think it's sick, it must be pretty twisted," Mirko said.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"What do you think it means?" she shot back.

"Whatever it is, it sounds rude."

"Rude?" She laughed nervously. "That's the worst word you could think of?"

"Shut up!"

"Uh...so do we try to defeat you?" the prisoners asked.

Mirko thought. "Yeah, well, actually, we're just the...the leaders, right? You have to escape the whole camp. This...uh...a game. It's the camp that's the prison."

"That's intense," said the prisoner.

"It's a graduation sort of thing," Mirko said, "I'm just telling you what to do. Got it? We can help you though."

"Okay...but how would we even do that?"

"You can't ask her that," said another, "We have to figure it out ourselves."

Mirko gave Shigaraki another 5 by 5.

"They're idiots," he said.

"Good thing," Mirko said, "What if they decided to attack us? We're outnumbered and cornered. They'd probably win."

"Not if I killed them."

"And you want to kill them? They're victims," she said, "They don't know what they're doing."

Shigaraki huffed. "That's true, I suppose. But if it's between that and dying, you have to make a call."

"I think the call there would be not to kill innocent people."

"You would."

"Oh, knock it off," Mirko snapped.

The prisoners were still talking about what to do. She couldn't follow what they were saying anymore.

It was about then that Ren finally got on their line.

"Man, it took longest to get yours. Where the heck are you?"

"Barracks 2. Where are you?"

"We're...well, I'm in the control center. The others ran to go help. The girl we were after, she's gone crazy. She's attacking us. Hawks saw the whole thing."

"What?" Mirko got a sinking feeling.

"What?" Shigaraki also said.

"I don't know why," Ren said, "Maybe she's hallucinating? Maybe she's brainwashed. They could have tortured her. It could be she's really just trying to defend herself, but the others went to check it out. I'm still trying to mess with the systems here. Do you need me to do anything?"

"Uh...yeah." Mirko looked out the window. "We're barricaded in here. They're ready to shoot us if we step out. We have prisoners too. Think you could get them away from the door?"

"Oh, es muy facile," Ren said, "Give me a real challenge next time... Shigaraki isn't trying to murder anyone yet, is he?"

"He's right here," Mirko said.

"Yeah, I know," Ren said.

"So ask him," Mirko said, "Or better yet, shove it. You think I'd let him do that?"

"You think you can stop me?" Shigaraki said.

"Shut up," Mirko said.

"Just testing to make sure you were still on your toes," Ren said.

Mirko eyed her hurt foot. "Well, some of them..."

"Get back from the window if you're still there," Ren said, "All of you, don't let anyone see you."

They all moved back.

An alarm suddenly started blaring.

"Attention," someone's voice came over loudspeakers, "The monsters in barracks 2 have escaped and are heading for the stairs. All personnel not engaged in fighting, go after and recover them."

The ninja outside the barracks started cursing. Then they ran off towards the stairs.

Mirko started laughing. "Ren, you mad genius!"

"What just happened?" Shigaraki asked.

"Ren pulled a red herring and got them off our trail," Mirko said, "Now we get out of here before they figure it out."

She opened the door. "Come on, all of you." She motioned at the prisoners.

They ran out after her.

Shigaraki followed slowly.

"If we do escape this," he muttered, "I have some notes for the League on our approach."

"Couldn't hurt to try, right?" Mirko quipped.

"Shut up," Shigaraki said.

* * *

Now the whole team, except Ren and Hawks, were pretty much in the same place.

Wally and the other kids arrived in time to start taking out the ninja who were just watching Ibara attack, as well as the prisoners who were attacking too.

But Wally couldn't just run through the vines and get the others. They still needed to stop Ibara.

Especially since she was going to hurt herself if she kept doing this without a break.

She was as silent as she usually was while attacking. Which just made her scarier.

Camie wasn't much good here. She was able to take out a few other people, but she couldn't do anything about the vines.

"This girl is way more scary than Todoroki could ever be," she told Bakugo, "Why not fight her?"

"Are you watching this?" Bakugo shot back.

"You admitting it kind of makes it worse..." Camie said.

Monama and Medea finally appeared, burning through the vines.

"Yo!" Camie waved at them. "Over here."

They stumbled toward them.

Bakugo blasted more vines away. "She's so strong."

"She is the strongest in our class," Monama said, "and I can't copy her quirk easily either. Even if I could, it wouldn't be long enough to matter, and it would just get more vines in the way... The point being, I'm not much use here except to burn stuff. Do you have a plan?"

"Does she have a weakness?" Bakugo said.

"Dehydration," Monama said.

"Oh, great..." Bakugo said, "That's my weakness too."

"It is?" Camie said.

"Isn't everyone's?" Bakugo snapped, "That doesn't help."

"Well, she grows vines! What do I do with that?" Monama snapped.

"You have to take her out, not the vines," Medea said, "I can...phase through them, maybe. I could probably get to her. Or you could...but I don't want to hurt her. It's not her fault."

"I don't want to hurt her either," Monama said, "And without burning her, how can we take her out?"

"Shine could block her quirk," Bakugo said, "but...I think she has to touch her to do that."

"Same problem, then," Monama said.

Shine was trying to touch her, but she was tiring. She couldn't get close enough.

Iida struggled.

"Miss Shiogazi," he called, "please, we're not trying to hurt you! Don't you remember us? I'm Iida, from 1-A."

"I don't know you," Ibara said.

"But I know you!" Iida said desperately, "We're friends."

"I find these lies upsetting," Ibara said, "There is no need for such a low trick. I already know what you are trying to do." Her vines grabbed his feet and yanked him down. "But I won't let you."

"Don't you remember your family?" Iida stated, "Your class?"

"My family is at home," Ibara said, "and I don't know what you mean by class."

"UA, you know," Iida said.

"UA? Isn't that the hero school?" Her eyes darkened.

"Iida," Shine called, swatting aside more vines--but some lashed around her arm, "it's no good. Anything around heroes will be a trigger. Did you have any other memories with her?"

Iida thought. "The festival. Don't you remember the festival? Hanging out there?" [Parts 81-82, if you skipped that arc.]

Ibara hesitated. "Festival?...I think I've been to one of those," she said.

"Right, but not as a hero." Iida was terrible at tact. "Just as friends. You remember, right?"

Ibara put a hand to her head. "I think I do... I remember fireworks."

"Exactly," Iida said, "and me and a few classmates, remember?"

Ibara looked up. Something like recognition flashed across her eyes. "I think so... Wait, do I know you?" She suddenly gripped her head. "Ahhh!"

Her vines quivered, then started to lash out without a pattern. They just flew every which way.

* * *

"What's happening?" Macallister asked, sharply.

"Minor mishap." The commander frowned. "Our new recruit can't erase all memories, so it's possible a few slipped through the cracks. Maybe one that didn't have to do with hero work. It's hard to predict this kind of thing. Bad luck, but he can fix it later. We'll just have to do this the hard way-"

Wally suddenly knocked him off his feet.

"What the--?" Macallister said.

"Suck on that!" Wally called, "I don't want to hit a woman, but you should really stand down."

Macallister pulled out a gun. "Let see you outrun this." She fired at him.

Wally dodged it with ease. "You were saying? What trick should I do next?"

He grabbed the gun out of her hand before she could blink.

"Anything else?" he said.

Macallister gaped at him in fear.

* * *

"Shine!" Momo was calling, "I'm trying to get to you." She had a chainsaw. "Are you all right?"

"Yeah, but watch out for the other ninja!" Shine called.

Most of them had run after Ren's fake PSA announcement (which he'd made by threatening one of the guards with a weapon, he told them) but some had realized it was a trick and were coming back. Some had not left at all.

Most of the other prisoners were now down or unconscious.

* * *

"Don't panic," Iida said to Ibara, "It's just a headache."

"My head is going to explode," Ibara wailed, "Why? What did you do to me?"

Her eyes blazed suddenly. Vines grabbed Iida and dragged him closer.

Iida pulled at them. But she didn't have his throat. Ibara wouldn't kill someone.

But she was yanking pretty tight.

"What did you do?" she almost yelled at him.

"N-nothing," Iida gasped, "I didn't do anything..."

Ibara frowned. "Don't lie to me..."

"I wouldn't lie to you, Miss Shiogazi," Iida said, "I know you're a good person. You don't really want to hurt me. You're gentle and kind."

Ibara raised an eyebrow slowly.

"This isn't you," Iida went on, "I'm just trying to help... We're not here to kidnap you. If you remember the festival, you know we're friends. Why would I try to kidnap you?"

Ibara winced. "It hurts more when you say that."

"Why should having a friends be hurting you?" Iida said, "I'm sure you remember, deep down...because you're loyal, aren't you?"

Ibara bit her lip.

"'It helps us stay on the right path, to remember what we represent to the world.' That's what you told me once. You'd never hurt someone from your class or your school," Iida went on, "I remember you didn't even like the word assassin. 'Words are all a part of representing' is what you said." [He's quoting and paraphrasing what she said in part 82. I was proud of that conversation.]

Ibara blinked. "Yes, I don't like that word. It's violent."

"Exactly," Iida said, "You don't like hurting people...but look, you're hurting us."

Ibara looked around.

"We haven't attacked you, have we?" Iida said.

"No...but...Brother Lethe told me what you would do," Ibara said.

"Lethe said we're heroes," Iida thought fast, "but Miss Likstar down there, she isn't even a hero. Lethe is wrong."

Ibara looked at Shine. "I feel like I... Why do I feel like I've seen her before too?"

"She was also at the festival."

"Yes...that's right. She was..." Ibara said, "Why didn't I remember you...before...? Oww..." She clutched her head again. "Hurts..."

Her vines dropped though. Iida fell to the ground. Luckily, it wasn't a long fall.

Vines all let go of everyone .

Shine was able to cut herself loose from them. She approached.

Ibara was whimpering.

"She's hurt, Miss Likstar." Iida was distressed and chopping his hand. "I don't know what else to do."

"It's okay, you did really good." Shine patted his shoulder. "Let me."

She knelt down. "Ibara, do you know me?"

"I...know I saw you before..." Ibara mumbled.

"Right, I can help your head, okay?" Shine said, "It's not a quirk, I just...I just have a divine gift. You remember you believe in that, right?"

Ibara nodded.

"Good, so you'll let me."

"I...ow...yes." Ibara was in too much pain to care.

Shine held out her hand and murmured a prayer.

Ibara lowered her hands... "It's better...but it's not gone."

"Yes, well, it will go away with time," Shine said, "but for now, can you get up?"

Ibara nodded. "Why do I know all of you?" she asked.

"We'll explain all that later." Shine turned.

Wally had taken out of most of the ninja but more were turning back.

She saw Mirko and Shigaraki running up, more prisoners with them.

Shine got an idea.

"Iida, stay with her," Shine said, "Get ready to run."

"Are you taking me anyway?" Ibara said.

Shine looked at her. "I promise, Ibara, if you still want to leave us after we tell you our story, you can. But for now, we can't let them kill us. I'm not a hero, it's true. I'm like you...so in the name of our Lord, I'm asking you to give us a chance."

Apparently that was something religious people took seriously, because Ibara nodded. "If you put it that way, of course I'll listen."

"Good." Shine raced away.

She ran up to Mirko and Shigaraki.

"Boy, am I glad to see you two," she said, "We've got Ibara."

"So we heard. What was all that?" Mirko said.

"No time. We need to get Ren," Shine said, "Then, Shigaraki, I have an idea for how we can get out of here. But I have to do it right, and I need your help."

"Okay..." Shigaraki said oddly, "How?"

"I'll show you." Shine held out her sword. "But I need all of us in the same place first... Wally!"

Wally had tied up Macallister and the commander both.

"Yeah, babe?"

"We need a barrier. Walls of Jericho need to go down," Shine said.

"The wall of..." Wally looked up. "Oh...I see. But Kayla doesn't have a red rope."

"She going to get one," Shine said, "We need Ren here. Can you get him?"

"I'm on it," Wally said.

A second later, he was back with Ren.

Shine was drawing a circle in the dirt.

The hero kids were keeping off the ninjas. It wasn't easy. The ninja were not using guns, only because they had so many people close to the heroes, they couldn't hit them, but they were using knives and swords and poles.

Kayla was just leaning on the wall, doing nothing.

Shine waved her over.

She blinked at her.

Mirko jumped at her, yanked her up, and threw her toward Shine.

"If you want to get out of here," Shine told Kayla, "you'll stand here inside this circle with us. Or forget it. I can't be responsible for what they do to you once we're gone."

Kayla nodded meekly.

Macallister looked up at them.

"Even if you could get away," she spat, "we'll find you again. I know who you are now. You're Likstar... Do you really think you're safe at that hero school? Our agents there will never let you escape."

Shine tilted her head.

"You know, I keep hearing that," she said, "but here's the thing. We're still here. You're the ones who keep picking a fight with us. And you're messing with the wrong God." She glared at Macallister. "Lord have mercy on you for what you did to these kids and all the other people you all dragged here."

She motioned her team over. They all ran to get inside the circle, Shigaraki included. Iida picked Ibara up because she was still weak and confused. She looked at him strangely but didn't put up a fight. He ran into the circle, still holding her.

"You think people with quirks are a disease?" Shine raised her voice so all of the ninja around could hear her, speaking in English. "But who is diseased? The one who has a power they didn't ask for, or the one who uses the power they grasped on purpose to hurt others? Who is sick here? You claim a divine cause, but you ought to have listened to Our Lord when he said, 'I have not come to call those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.' All of you think not having a quirk makes you pure? But you're willing to do the worst things known to man to people with quirks in order to get what you want? I think you should hear this warning, Macallister." She looked at her with her eyes glinting gold.

[Design by Onerose, original template by original artist.]

"'Those who live by the sword will die by the sword," she said, dead serious,  "'And whoever sheds the blood of man, by man will his blood be shed'. And to the merciful, God will show Himself merciful, but to the devious, He will show himself shrewd. So don't you be amazed that we are going to get away from you yet again. That is all you should expect. Take this as a final warning. Touch one of us again, and your entire group will be destroyed. I don't know when, I don't know how, but I can see that as clearly as I can ever see anything."

The ninja pulled back a little, frightened by her.

"Now, if I were all of you," Shine said, "I would run for those tunnels. Anyone who doesn't, their life is in their own hands. Take your pathetic leaders with you."

The commander made some kind of motion. "Kurogiri..." he hissed into an earpiece he had.

Shine stabbed her sword into the ground with all her might.

Shock waves shot out from her and began to shake the ground. People either fell down, or they ran for their lives.

Mirko covered her ears.

"All right, now, Shigaraki, the dome," Shine said.

Shigaraki looked up. "I'll kill all of us with it," he said.

"No, we'll be fine inside this," Shine said, "Just do it. Trust me."

Shigaraki slowly put his hands on the ground.

It cracked and split, running all the way to the end of the field. And the crack went up the dome.

It all happened rather fast.

Ibara started crying. "What's going on? I don't understand and..."

Wally rounded up all of the prisoners and brought them into the circle. They didn't protest.

The cracks spread. The dome started to fall in. At last the sky appeared...

The material of the dome rained onto the barracks, but on the the group, it was like an invisible shield was keeping it off of them.

Kayla gaped.

"Wow..." Ren muttered.

"Stop," Shine told Shigaraki.

He stood up.

The rest of the dome finished falling in. Dust shot up everywhere.

The camp was wrecked now. A lot of equipment had fallen over.

Wally had grabbed Lethe. Suddenly, they all saw him.

"I thought maybe we could take him with us," Wally said.

Lethe stared at them, then he backed up. "What kind of people are you?"

"I would take Wally up on that," Shine said, "We can help you, you know, Lethe... You don't have to do this. You shouldn't work for them."

Medea looked up from behind Monama.

"Lethe..." she said in a small voice, "whatever else I don't know or do know, and however much I might still wonder about what you said, I know I'm at least not going to join you if you're going to work with them... They're horrible. You should leave them too. Maybe if you did that, someday, I could forgive you."

Lethe looked pained.

"You just don't understand..." he said.

"You can keep saying that," Shine said, "or maybe it is you who don't understand. Lethe...how long can you play god before you snap? Hmm?"

Lethe backed up more. "I already know what I want to do. And you'll come around, Medea. You'll see.... I know I can't force you with all of them here, but you'll understand that I'm right, and when you do, you should come back."

Medea wiped her eyes. "Lethe...don't..."

But Lethe looked around. "Kurogiri..." he said.

Smoke appeared.

Shigaraki gasped. "What...?" He tried to step forward."

Mirko grabbed him. "Are you crazy?"

"Kurogiri, what are you doing!?" Shigaraki yelled at the smoke.

The smoke flickered.

"Tomura Shigaraki..." Kurogiri's voice said, "it's been a long time...but regrettably, I cannot speak with you right now. Must follow orders..."

"But you're supposed to be following my orders," Shigaraki said, and he sounded like a kid who's just been lied to by their parent, "Why are you still with them?"

"I'm not at liberty to say," Kurogiri said.

Lethe and him both vanished.

Medea's hushed sobbing was the loudest sound right then.

Shigaraki just stared. "I don't understand. How...?"

Mirko put her ears down. "They did something to him..." she said, "I wonder what."

"'Not at liberty to say' is an interesting choice of words," Shine said, "I think a very accurate one too. Another time we could have tried to stop him, but we must get out of here. The ninja will come back to see if we're dead. We'd better let them think we are for a while."

"Hey, guys!" Hawks swooped down. "Did I miss all the fun?"

"Yeah, as usual. You're too slow," Mirko said. That was the most normal thing she'd said in a while.

Hawks laughed. "Oh...wow. Dang..."

"Can you get all the prisoners out of here?" Shine asked, "It's too many for us to handle. We'll meet you back at Alliance. How about that?"

"That's, like, a 30 minute flight at least," Hawks said.

"Better get going, then," Mirko said.

Hawks made a face. "I'm just everyone's delivery bird now..." He picked up the prisoners and flew away.

Shine and Wally grasped hands. "I guess this should work," Wally said.

A portal opened, gold, red, and purple...

"Oh, wow..." Camie said.

Flash!

* * *

They were at Alliance again.

Everyone blinked and sank to the ground after coming out of the portal.

Shigaraki started coughing from the effort of using his quirk that much, but using his quirk was still easier than running was at this point.

Ibara shivered. Outside of the dome it was much colder, and she had no jacket. Iida let her have his. She still looked confused.

But the UA kids were elated that they'd gotten away.

"Woo hoo!" Camie cheered, "Suck it, Ninjas! We did it again!" She high-fived Bakugo.

"I'm so glad...we're all here..." Momo sank to the grass...despite it still having some snow around it.

Shine started laughing. "That was quite the show we put on. Shigaraki, you did it perfectly. Did you see the looks on their faces? Thank you."

She bent down to give him an impromptu hug.

Shigaraki was shocked. "What are you doing?!" He flinched.

"Oh...sorry, I forgot you don't like that." Shine straightened. "I just do that when I'm happy."

"Americans..." Kayla muttered.

"And Hispanics," Ren said, "I mean, sometimes we even kiss--Not a huge fan of that, but the in-laws..."

"Another good reason not to come home on the holidays..." Mirko muttered. She ruffled Ren's hair too hard. "Still, good work getting us out of there, little brother."

"We're not safe yet." Kayla crossed her arms. "You should portal back to Japan."

"No, we're too tired," Shine said, "Plus, I think we should lead them a little off. They don't think we portaled here, from all I heard in that office, and I'd prefer to keep that edge. I say we drive up into the Rocky Mountains and then go home. They'll look for us for days there before they realize we've skipped."

"That's a good idea," Wally approved, "and I think we'll need a bus."

The 20 or so prisoners shivered.

"Yeah, we need a plan for them..." Shine mused.
