Bonus: More about World Walkers

This story features people known as World Walkers, or DJs (Dimension Jumpers). A World Walker is someone with the ability to open portals to other worlds, go through them, and help the people there.

World Walkers are hinted at in many kinds of fiction, but very few people know all that much about what they actually do, because they have to keep it private. After all, if it got out that powerful people could cross dimensions and shake things up, a lot of citizens would have a panic attack--or worse.

The key thing to remember is that whatever world they go to, things play out differently than they would have if they hadn't come. Time lines might change slightly, people may not die who would die, other people may completely change their way of life.

The theory behind this is that DJs add a new element to a world, and everything a new element is introduced, the results change.

So, with that in mind, meet the DJs who will be working throughout this story with the characters from a world commonly known as My Hero Academia:

World Walker Bios:

Likstar, Shine:

History: The first World Walker/D. J. of the set. Shine Likstar began her career of inter-dimensional travel at a young age. Her experience has made her the natural leader of her team and resident expert on all things world related, though she'd be the first to tell you she hardly knows anything.

Appearance: Shine is a tall brunette with dark eyes that sometimes glow in certain worlds when she activates her gifts.

Skills: She is no stronger than the average woman and has no special skills in the physical area, but has been shown to be a decent fighter thanks to years of being in dangerous situations. The ability to read a situation quickly and accurately, and to take charge when necessary.

Shine also has good academic abilities, speaks multiple languages, and often uses sign language as a code between her and her partner and close friends.

Shine commonly takes the role of teacher, when she is not in a combative situation, and counselor.

Personality: Shine is a fiery person who has no problem telling it like it is. With maturing over the course of her career she has learned to temper her bluntness and intermingle it with subtlety and tact when she needs to, though she often still isn't sure when to draw the line.

Shine is also very good at getting under people's guard, and on their nerves. She often provokes them on purpose in order to get at the truth, and rarely seems to feel any remorse over doing so. But by turns she is also extremely merciful and often gentle with people who admit their problems up front.

When not working at helping people, Shine has a playful personality and often laughs at things and people that strike her as funny. She is also extremely loyal and protective of her friends, and has a quick temper when anyone attacks them.

Gifts: Alongside physical and mental talents, like all World Walkers, Shine has Spiritual Gifts. Which are constantly developing, growing, and being added to. The currently known ones are Discernment, Wisdom, Knowledge, and occasionally Prophecy.

Weapons/Tools: Shine has  a Sword to use in more dangerous worlds. The Sword appears whenever she needs it and can do a myriad of different things. Limited only by imagination. It is indestructible. The sword is mostly for defense only, but can be used to attack creatively. But it does not cut or kill people. It has been shown to kill monsters however. The sword also has no effect on Shine.

West, Wally:

History: Wally West is a famous superhero in his world, his World Walking career is unknown to any but his closest friends. He began it only a few years ago when he and Shine became a team. He has less experience and knowledge of Dimensional Travel, but has a natural flexibility with it that enables him to keep up with his companion. Though Wally lets Shine be the Leader, he has sometimes taken charge, and has no problem doing so when she is not around and it falls to him.

Appearance: Wally is tall and strong like a superhero, with red hair and blue eyes, and a boyish expression.

Skills: As the Flash, Wally of course has unbelievable speed and quick thinking. He works at a crime lab as his alias, and has more deductive reasoning skills than people give him credit for.

Wally is smart and perceptive about people. He does not often use any natural skills on the job, and prefers to rely on his superpower.

Personality: Wally is fun loving and caring, in a laid back way. He prefers to mostly make humorous comments instead of observations. He prefers to follow other people's lead as long as he respects them and only takes charge when he feels he must.

Wally can be too laid back and unwilling to push people when they need it. He is more accepting of people, flaws and all, though he is protective of his friends and gets the most angry when they are threatened.

Wally can also be a little more evasive and hesitates to confront people over personal stuff.

He also is a good listener and believes the best of people.

In battle he is fearless and quick to adjust to changing circumstances without getting stressed out. He isn't much for planning but can come up with short term strategy when necessary.

Gifts: Wally is a new D. J. and has yet to realize most of his gifts, but he is strong in Compassion, Mercy, and Faith that things will be okay. His positivism acts as a gift also and keeps his team grounded.

Weapons: Wally mainly uses his power for weapons, but does have a sword of his own when he needs it. He is still developing his weapon and it may alter with time. Like all D. J.'s his words can also work as weapons. He is more offensive than Shine, but also relies on evading damage and not absorbing it.

Alias: The Flash

Strongfeld, Dillon:

History: Dillon Strongfeld is from Dimension X, popularly known as Disney Channel. He and Shine met while being held hostage by an evil scientist at a hidden facility. After Shine and her friends defeated the villain, Dillon was rescued along with other people and later ran into Shine again while she was on a different case. Dillon helped out out of gratitude.

Years later, Dillon ended up becoming a D. J. and took up residence in Shine's home world, unknown to her until one of her sisters contacted him for help in yet another mission. Dillon has since remained off the radar, since D. J.'s rarely mix for safety reasons.

Skills: Dillon is not often in the spotlight, and most of his skills are unknown. He can shoot excellently, being from Texas, and do other cowboy related stuff, as that is what he enjoys. We also know that he was skydiving before being captured with Shine, so perhaps he has daredevil hobbies also.

Dillon is also a good makeshift cook and survivalist.

Personality: Dillon is no stereotype, but he does embrace the cowboy image for the fun of it. He has a frank, good natured manner, and a common sense approach to problems. He is friendly, but not always sure who to trust, so he can be guarded. He is bold, but not showy. He also seems to enjoy sensations as much as most World Walkers do, but he doesn't push for them. He seems to neither like nor dislike attention, but to do whatever the situation calls for.

He is, of course, honest and reliable, and a little sportive.

Gifts: Dillon's only confirmed gift is Wisdom. He does not talk about himself much. He uses it to give wise counsel to help people figure out their calling.

Weapons: As a D. J. Dillon carries around two six shooters, which act the same as the Swords of the other two, and are also how he opens portals. The guns suit his more direct approach to problem solving.

Vundar, Alicia:

Alias: None

Better known to most as Alice in Wonderland, Alicia is a World Walker who's story is told in the RWBY: Through Worlds chronicle.

History: Alicia is from a parallel world to the others, but set roughly in the late 1800s, just like the story she's from.

She appeared in the World of Remnant 1000 years before Shine and Wally's adventure there to help Ozpin with his mission and curse.

Unfortunately, things ended badly for her due to some disagreements of approach and a betrayal of trust and abuse of powers.

The end result of this was Ozpin creating the portals to the pocket dimension that he hid the relics in, while Alicia went home in failure, but not entirely hopeless.

Through a series of visions and dreams and messages she was able to help Oscar Pine on his path to fulfilling his destiny and restore peace to Remnant, and Shine and Wally were able to complete her mission with her legacy intact.

Gifts: Alicia possessed a gift of prophecy that gave her flashes of past and future and current events. It also gave her insights into people's true natures and destiny's.

Weapons: Along with this she had the power to heal people with the use of her tool, a snake tipped staff.

Skills: While not a fighter in her own words, she usually had no trouble smoothing things over and playing peacemaker between people. She also had a common sense approach to any problem.

And is good at games and imaginative conversations.

Personality: Alicia would describe herself as very odd. Curious naturally, and fond of her own company, even pretending to be two people.

Her quirkiness made her adaptable to new worlds and new people, but sometimes makes her lonely as few people quite understand what she's talking about most of the time. She seems to get along the most with other oddballs.

She is also fond of children and cats and loves tea.

Worlds Covered. Between the four of them these World Walkers have visited several universes. Known to us by their fictional names. The true names of each dimension are unknown to anyone, so when clarification is needed, D. J. 's use the fictional terms. It keeps each world from knowing too much about the other. Dillon is also assigned to Shine's world, a mirror dimension to our own. (Assuming you live here.)

The worlds they have been to build up their understanding of the next one they go to, so they must be kept straight. But no official record of them is allowed, only things put in fictional form.
