A Change of plans

Chapter 6

Lizzie's POV

I'm reading a book and trying to relax. We're all resting from the first night, Max being the only one staying up with me. Poor thing, I think, my mind is still reeling from the adrenaline. Seeing how he doesn't like jumpscares, as he told us.

"Lizzie?"

I peek over the book to let Max know I'm listening. "Yeah, Max?" I say. "Do you think we should mix up the group, to know each other better?" He suggest.

"Max, I'm not in charge of the group. Maybe you could ask Matt?

"Right." Max agreeing. "I'll ask him when he's up."

-Time skip brought you by Max's plan-

Everyone eventually wakes up from their sleep and we're in the main stage room. Jack and Mark talking to Adam and Aphmau, Max is telling Matt his idea and the rest is talking in a lopsided circle. Random snippets of conversion travels in one ear and out the other. Matt gets up on the stage and announces. "Guys! Max came up with a idea, in order to know each other better, we'll mix up the groups." Murmurs went around and shouting is coming from the loudest people here. "GUYS!" Jack, who told us his real name's Sean, shouts to get our attention. "Matt, if you continue please.

Jack's POV

Matt just finished telling us who's partnered up with, I'm with Mark again. Aphmau's with Adam, Max's with Lizzie, Matt's with Brett, Nate's with AJ, the rest's a blur. But I understand on what to do. The night shift is starting soon and me and Markimoo are in the office, he'll check the doors while I'll check the cameras. A walkie-talkie sits nearby, ready for me or Mark alert a group if an animatronic is close to their location.

"Jack?" Mark asks me, partly spinning on the wheelie-chair. I look at him. "Yeah Mark?" I reply, the Irish accent echoes a bit.

"Why'd you been acting strange since last night? It didn't have to do with anything I said?"

"No, Mark." I assure the red hair-dyed man before me. "It was nervousness, heh."

Third Person's view (FOR THE FIRST TIME)

"Okay then." Mark says before checking the hallways by peeking his head out of the doorway.

"Mark, you know it's not midnight yet." The Irish green-haired tells him.

"I know, I was just checking, Jack."

"Okay," Jack reply. "But if Bonnie or Chica is outside and takes you away, I'll say 'I told you so'."

"Can you not say that?" Mark murmurs loud enough for Jack to hear. "Something's going on with you."

"I'm fine, Mark!" Jack assures Mark again, hitting him in the arm. "Hey!" Mark hisses and ignores him. Jack looks at the monitor, unaware of a smile growing on his face.
