Long ago in the Demon Realm, the surname 'Hayakawa' put fear into all of their enemies. This clan of fighters were extraordinarily rare. Their form was not excellent by any stretch of the means, but it was their brutality.

However, that was not what made the Hayakawa clan a rare breed. It was a fact that all of their senses and expressions change when they are in battle mode. This was due to...

"A dual personality?" questioned a young Haru to her father.

"That is right, Haru. On a normal day-to-day basis, most of the Hayakawa clan members act like civil people. It is only when we are in a proper battle that our personalities change." explained Haru's father.

"But doesn't everyone's expressions and personality change when fighting?" quizzed Haru.

"Ours are quite different because of our strong ties to souls," revealed Haru's father.

"I have two souls?!" exclaimed Haru.

"Well, you'll come to understand yourself when you are older." smiled Haru's father.

Now back in the present time, Haru is hacking and slashing away at Narihari. He is barely able to dodge the fierce attacks of Haru. It felt like a gang of wolves coming to tear him limb from limb.

"Just what is this woman?!" feared Narihari.

"It's been a long time since I've seen you, Aki." greeted Hajime.

Aki is Haru's other soul. In terms of personality, they are worlds apart from one another. Haru seems to be the sunshine of springtime, while Aki is the whirlwind of autumn.

"Don't stop my fun. Haji." barked Aki.

"I hate that nickname," complained Hajime.

"Isn't that a shame?" teased Aki.

"I see what you did there." sighed Hajime as he realised that Haji means shame.

"Just what's happening here?!" questioned Narihari.

"You're going to lose. That is what's going to happen. Aki, don't injure Haru's body too much," warned Hajime.

"Don't tell me what to do!" yelled Aki.

As Aki yelled that, she kept swinging her sword toward Narihari. He keeps deflecting with his sword, but he knows that it can't keep going that way. If it continues this way, he is going to lose.

"I've had enough of you! Oni-Chi: The Hunted Horseman!" chanted Narihari.

All of a sudden, black Demon Energy swirled around Narihari. The energy attached to him became thick armour. The energy also surrounded his head and became the shape of a horse.

"How ugly," commented Aki.

"Shut up, you cursed bitch." cursed Narihari.

Not wasting much time, he flashed in front of Aki and hit her with his sword. The energy around his sword was much thicker and denser than before. Since it had this type of upgrade, it pushed Aki back quick a bit.

"Hunted Horseman: Raging Uma!" yelled Narihari.

Once Narihari chanted this, he stomped the ground and charged forward toward Aki. He coated his Demon Energy in Commanders Demonia and headbutted Aki's chest area. Aki put the side of her sword towards her and tried to defend herself, but it was too much.

Bang!

The force from the attack sent her flying. The speed her body moved caused the trees to split in two as she crashed into them. Aki got back up quickly and wiped the blood that spilt from her mouth.

"Haru likes to use Demon Energy and all that fancy stuff, but I refuse to. I like to fight normally and cut my enemy with raw strength," said Aki.

"That's not going to get you far, brute. You might as well let your enemies kill you." gibed Narihari.

"Luckily, I have a friend here who doesn't mind leaning into their powers. Haji! I am going to land a blow on this fool. Once I've done that, it's all up to you." commanded Aki.

"Okay!" nodded Hajime.

Aki closed her eyes and held her sword in front of her. She began to control her breathing and let her body feel loose. She then tensed both her arms and legs and swung her sword.

"Hayakawa Style: Brute Iai!" shouted Aki.

As she yelled out her move, a large slash went towards Narihari. He had no way of dodging such an attack as the attack was unavoidable.

Slash!

A giant cut went across Narihari's whole body. A mass amount of blood spilt from the wound and his Oni-Chi power began to fade.

"What just happened?" thought Narihari.

"I leave the rest in your capable hands, Haji." nodded Aki after landing the strike.

"Thanks, Aki! It's time for me to show the fruits of my labour." grinned Hajime.
