Arashi didn't go to the war base as he heard Yukina's carriage would be departing from Wansai.

Was it all true...?

His heart hurt as he rode his horse. Various questions lingered in his mind because he wasn't certain what was happening and why it was happening?

As he reached a little distance further from Wansai, he saw a bridal carriage on the way.

Arashi's heart was pounding harshly as he rode his horse and followed the bridal carriage where Yukina was.

He stopped the carriage and the two soldiers who were with the carriage came to stop Arashi. But as they saw it was their Prince, they immediately halted.

Arashi reached the carriage door and pulled away the curtains.

Yukina certainly had agreed to marry a different suitor as she was sitting inside the carriage.

He asked, rage and betrayal mixing in his voice, "Why? Why did you agree to get married to a different suitor?"

Yukina didn't say anything as she was still looking down.

Arashi asked again, his jaw muscles clenched tightly. "Couldn't you wait a little? For me?"

Yukina's eyes were down as she said, "Because our wedding got cancelled... No... I can't wait now..."

Arashi's face became cold and eyes becoming harsh with the betrayal he got from Yukina. He caught her wrist tightly and yanked her.

Yukina hissed as she came down from the carriage, "Arashi! Let go of me!"

"I will but first answer me... Do you still love me?" He asked, hope still peeking in his eyes.

Yukina didn't say anything as her face was slumped down. She didn't want to look into his eyes...

Arashi yanked her to his chest as tears fell from Yukina's eyes. Arashi knew something was wrong as he asked, "Did the emperor forced you to marry?"

Yukina shook her head.

Yukina wasn't saying anything as Arashi forced her, "Just tell me what the hell has happened! Tell me Yukina!"

Yukina pursed her lips and finally looked up into his eyes. Her eyes had so much pain in them that Arashi's heart clenched. She said while giving a painful smile, "How could I tell you a lie, Arashi? When I love you so much..."

"Th-then why are you marrying another man?" He asked, his eyes softening.

"Because I can't marry you..."

"Why?"

"Will you still marry me if you learnt that the person you love so much was the one who killed your parents?" She asked which made Arashi taken aback.

What was she saying?

Arashi said, "I know you are not like that... And I don't care what you did... Yukina, come with me... I will make sure nobody will touch you or give you pain..."

Yukina only smiled as tears fell from her eyes. "I can't... I can't stay with you because I will only be hurt if I stayed with you..."

Arashi's heart broke as he heard her words... He left her hand because her words hurt him. Was he the reason she was hurt? He had no idea...

Yukina added, "I couldn't save your parents but I will definitely save you..."

Arashi couldn't understand what she was saying as Yukina ran toward the cliff. Arashi's eyes turned wide as she looked at him and said with a painful smile, "Know that I had always loved you and I will always love you... But maybe we weren't meant to be each other's... Not in this life. With this I will finally be able to protect you."

And she jumped off the cliff just before Arashi's eyes as Arashi's world crumbled apart that night.

[Arashi's POV]

[Current situation where Futama was captured and was being interrogated]

Arashi was awestruck as well as Hiroshi...

At that night, 6 years ago, Arashi didn't know what she meant by those words...

'With this I will finally be able to protect you.' the words rang in his ears...

But now he knew what she meant by saving him by killing herself.

Futama Sameda laughed as he said, "She killed herself because of you... Because she knew the organisation will come after her and they won't stop until they kill you. They knew Yukina loved you so to punish her they would come to kill you."

Thus, Yukina killed herself to protect Arashi.

He had no idea who was Yukina up until now...

But after interrogating Futama, he finally said everything about Yukina and where all of these started.

It was a irony that he had known Yukina for years yet he knew nothing... He didn't know the sacrifices she made. He didn't know the pains she felt. He didn't know how terrifying she must have been when she felt guilty of killing his parents...

She must be feeling so lonely...

If only Arashi was a little considerate maybe he could have understood Yukina more...

Arashi couldn't say a word, nor did he could fathom what was happening... His heart started to shatter once more finding the truths about Yukina...

For years, he had tried to search for any clues why Yukina killed herself. At first, he thought everyone bullied her but it wasn't the reason. He even though his grandfather maybe tried to force her into marrying a different suitor... Maybe that was why she killed herself but it wasn't the reason.

He had no idea the reason was always been him...

Futama laughed, "How does it feel to know that she died only because of you? You bastard! Yet you are having fun with your little wife?!"

Now Arashi understood his hatred.

He was angry because Yukina sacrificed her life for nothing...

Both Hiroshi and Arashi couldn't utter a word because their struggles felt nothing compared to Yukina's sacrifices...

Thus, both of them became exceptionally quiet...

"And what do you suggest by it?" Another voice came as Hiroshi, Arashi and Futama's eyes went toward the door where the voice came from. "That just because she had sacrificed her life for him, he had to mourn for her for the rest of his life?"

It was Bianka. And behind her, Kairo and Hana.

They must have called her here when they heard about Yukina... Arashi thought.

But what was she doing here? Arashi's voice got stuck in his throat as all he could do was only look at her.

Bianka's eyes fell on him and immediately her eyes turned worried. He must be looking really pathetic for her to act like this.

Futama's eyes grew angrier as he looked at Bianka. "Well, well, look who is here? If it is not Bianka... Oops! Princess Bianka... Beloved wife of our Prince of Wansai."

He mocked but it had no effect of Bianka as Bianka came inside.

Bianka looked at Futama and said, "I don't understand your theory mister whoever you are, but perhaps you want Arashi to mourn for the rest of his life like you are doing."

And it hit harder than the tortures which were bestowed upon him. Futama's face twisted in anger as he said through gritted teeth, "So you want to make her sacrifice a waste!"

Bianka shook her head and said, "Don't you think if both you and Arashi mourn over her for the rest of your lives, then it will be a waste?"

Both Futama and Arashi got stunned as they looked at Bianka as if she just told them a universal fact.

She continued, "If Yukina were to come back alive, I swear she would kill herself again if she saw you both wasting your lives over mourning instead of moving on and living..."

Bianka went near Futama as he looked at her as if she had grown a head over her shoulder. She said, "Holding on your past won't make her happy. Just know your past, learn something from it and then let it go."

She looked at Arashi and smiled gently, "I bet Yukina would get angry if she saw you like this... All broken and hopeless."

Arashi's lips quivered but he bit it hard because he knew Yukina hated him being weak and hopeless. He even remember that day when Lord An Hao rejected him, he was about to give up if Yukina didn't put a sense in him.

Bianka was right...

If he got stuck with Yukina it would make her sacrifice a waste.

Arashi looked at Futama and said, "I apologise for Yukina but just because she has sacrificed her life that doesn't mean I will have to do that as well."

Futama's jaw muscles clenched tightly but before he could say anything Arashi said, "Yes, I will be forever grateful for her sacrifice but because of her I can move forward."

Arashi caught Bianka's hand and looked at Futama with determined eyes, "I know I was naive and I know you hate me. You have every reason to hate me for that even I feel pathetic about myself for not knowing anything the woman I loved."

He took a sigh and said, "But that is why I came back..."

Futama's eyes widened as Arashi said, "I have been running away from it but now I won't. I will make everything right and give justice to those who were unjustified. Including Yukina..."

And then Arashi asked Futama, "But I can't do that alone... I need your help."

Futama was looking intently at him, whirlwind of emotions running through his mind. He hated Arashi but did he really hate him?

True he was angry when he found out that Arashi got married but that wasn't the reason for his anger. His anger was more on Yukina.

If she hadn't killed herself back then maybe Futama could help her someway or other.

He was angry with himself for not putting sense in to Yukina's mind. If he had trusted Arashi at that time and told him about everything, maybe Yukina would still be alive...

But true, he couldn't just keep holding the past...

He needed to let go of the past...

But first!

He needed to take revenge on those who made Yukina suffered. But he couldn't do it alone. He needed Arashi...

Futama looked up and said, "I will help you but with one condition!"

Arashi nodded as Futama said, "I will be the one to kill Asahito Ina."

Arashi nodded. "Deal."

And thus, Arashi learnt about the killer of his parents and the real killer of Yukina.

A/n:

Hey! With this new friend, Futama Sameda, Arashi got another companion who will help him in the near fights!

But now, this is the last chapter of the book Mysterious husband!

But of course, the book hasn't ended yet. The book two will be coming in a few days... I am still writing on it.
