Elsa Arendelle

I knew it was very likely that Jackson would not come. So I knew it would just be fine if I went with Violet. But damn Eugene invites himself ... geez.

I still haven't told Violet that Eugene was coming she might freak. And it's morning.

I was lying in bed and Violet was up. Then a knock on the door. Oh shit I have to answer the door or else-

Violet answers the door.

And I hear a gasp. "You must be Violet." Eugene says and he does 'the smolder'.

"Oh geez." I have a headache already.

"W-who who are you?" She says shyly.

"Hitting on me already? Sorry but I have a girlfriend named Rapunzel." He jokes.

"I-I wasn't a-at all hitting on you." She freaks.

I get up and I push Eugene away from her. "Don't you intimidate her in anyway." I whisper yell at him. "And you're going out with Rapunzel?"

"I wish. We'd still be going out if Rapunzel didn't pay so much attention to that Jack ass." He says and tightens his fist.

"Oh so that's why you hate him." I mutter to myself.

"A lot." He adds.

"Um anyway ... don't go joking or intimidating Violet or you can watch a damn movie by yourself." I say meanly.

"Ooh. You show Notorious Elsa whenever you're angry." Eugene tells me.

"Yes ... it was always apart of me."

I turn around to see Violet fiddling with her fingers. "Hey Violet, Eugene is coming with us don't worry he won't bite." I encourage her and I smile.

Violet looks to the floor. "Nice to meet you." She says softly.

"Nice to meet you too." Eugene returns the smile.

"Well uh we're all set let's go." I tell them they both nod and we walk to the mall.

As we're there we look at the movies on. "You want to see that Romantic movie right?" I say and point at the movie poster and Violet nods.

"Romantic? Awh man ... I want to see the new Fast & Furious!" Eugene says.

"Then go watch it without us." I snarl at him.

"Fine I'll watch it." He groans.

"S-sorry Eugene." Violet says and fiddles with her fingers.

"Oh no it's fine." He laughs nervously, remembering that he shouldn't intimidate Violet.

"Ok let's buy the tickets."

Suddenly when I was about to approach the counter. Someone came rushing in.

"Jackson? You came?" I say in shock I didn't know he'd of desperately come to the movies.

"Don't look so stunned I had nothing to do today." Jackson says panting. "Hold on ... why is he here?" He points at Eugene.

I laugh nervously "He sorta came along." I say while playing with my hair.

"Hmph. As long as he doesn't irritate me. Plus what are we watching?" He asks.

"The Longest Ride." I answer.

"You mean ... I ran all the way here to see that Eugene is joining us and we're watching a romantic cliché?" He says in an annoyed voice getting more intense.

"Hey. Violet picked it." I whisper to him.

"Oh. Well I guess I can handle it for a while." He says.

"Wait .. do you like her?" I ask and I raise an eyebrow.

"Like her? That girl has a 5 percent self esteem rate!" He whisper yells.

"Oh you care about her." I say.

"No, I'm just being polite." He responds.

We enter the cinema. It's packed full most of them are couples.

I turn around and I see that Jackson and Violet have sat next to each other in the front row.

"Let's find some seats Elsa." Eugene says and grabs my hand. We sit directly behind Violet and Jackson.

The whole point of going to the movies was for me to get close to Violet so she can be comfortable around me. But that damn Jackson.

"I hate romantic movies." I mutter to myself.

"What?" Eugene whispers to me.

"I only wanted to watch it because of Violet .. now she's with Jackson." I whisper to him.

Half way through the movie .. almost there. I can also hear Violet and Jackson's conversation.

"Hey you don't have a drink." Jackson says to her.

"Y-yeah.." Violet timidly responds.

"That popcorn must be drying to your mouth. Here." He says and hands her his pepsi.

"Really?" She says.

And I assume Jackson nods and Violet drinks from it.

An indirect kiss.

"I gotta go." I tell Eugene.

"Where?"

"Bathroom."

I get up from my seat that Violet and Jackson even notice. I walk to the toilet.

I stay on the toilet for a long time. On my phone playing games. I finally get up and leave the bathroom. As I went outside I spot Jackson waiting beside the door.

I gasp.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

"Wondering why you took so long." He answers.

"The truth is I hate Romantic movies." I confess.

"Then why did you stop halfway through the movie? Is it because you're jealous?" He asks.

"Jealous of what?" I ask confused.

"Of Violet and I."

I instantly slap him. How could he think that I like him?

"I'm just frustrated that Violet can't get comfortable with me and she's more comfortable with you than me. What's wrong with me? Am I scary? Intimidating? I'm trying to make her happy!" I blab on.

"It's because you're giving her too much attention. She doesn't like the spotlight." He answers and shoves his hands in his pocket.

I look at Jackson's cheek. "Ooh .. sorry about your cheek the jealousy thing was unexpected." I say.

"I'll be fine." He says.

My face softens. The warmth in him has faded but it's not completely gone.

"Let's go back." I say.

We both return to the cinema.

Then the movie ends. Yes!

Eugene and Violet come up to us. "Hey were have you guys been?" Eugene asks.

"Nowhere." I answer.

"We should all eat out at some restaurant." Eugene suggests.

We all walk out of the cinema.

"Oaken's." Jackson answers and all of us look at him. "I want to eat at Oaken's."

"Jackson ... you've got a great taste of food." I tell him and smile at him.

We all go to Oaken's. And sit in a four seated table. "Heard the fish is amazing!" Eugene says "Though I prefer Snuggly Duckling."

"That bar? You dirty fool." I mutter.

"How was your year at your new high school like?" Eugene asks.

"Y-you don't want to know." I tell them and smile nervously.

"I do." Jackson says without showing emotion.

"S-so do I." Violet says timidly.

"Well once I started school there I had no friends and groups were already formed. Nobody invited me because they thought I was trying to be 'hot stuff' but guys hit on me and I wasn't trying to look good at all.  So I was alone and isolated again until I met someone who became my friend, she left schoolshortly after we became close. Then I was directly bullied by a group of girls saying that I try to look hot and saying that I'm a trashy slut, I never wanted to hurt them but I let go of hiding my feelings and I punched one of the girls she fell and had a seizure. She could've died and I didn't tell the teachers that I was being bullied so I took the blame. The next time I show up at school they feared me like in our old school but I was used to it, but this time I didn't want to be feared so I felt bad for myself ... because I screwed it up again. I missed out of prom and graduation because I hated being in the public. I missed all the opportunities that a high school student should have." I tell them nearly breaking down at the end.

They were all speechless. The rest of that time at the restaurant was just us eating. A few casual times striking up conversations. I mostly stayed quiet.

After that we walked back to Magika.

Violet and I were walking back to our room. "I'm sorry." She says.

"No it's okay. That was in the past anyway." I tell her.

"Why do you look so happy now if you have a miserable past?" She asks and not shyly this time.

"Well this time around I have actual friends." I say to her.

"Your the first person I feel comfortable around." Violet says.

Yes! SUCCESS!

"So what's Jackson to you?" She asks.

"Old friends." I answer.

"Have you ever done anything romantic with him?"

"Uh .. we kissed once and we use to like each other but not anymore. Why?" I ask.

"I like him." She answers.

When she becomes comfortable with you she becomes completely honest and open.

"Really? I-I see .." I mutter.

"Do you like him?" She asks.

"..." Why am I thinking about it?

"Oh you told me earlier you don't like each other anymore." She says.

Violet likes Jackson?

I wonder if Jackson feels the same ..
