Jackson Overland

It was just a coincidence that I wound up with Elsa Arendelle. I don't need her right now she reminds me of my past.

It was the day after Valentines Day. I couldn't get over the fact that Elsa has left me. "Honey we're going to a family friends house." Mom tells me. I nod my head. "I'll stay here."
As they set off I got a call and I answered it. "Hello?" I said.
"Is this the Frost household?" The voice from the over side said.
"Yes." I answer. "Why?"
"Your family has been in an severe car crash. They are in Burgess Hospital." They said.

I dropped the phone. I didn't move for ages. It took me time to go on my motorcycle and I sped all the way to the hospital. Sobbing all the way there. I rushed through asking where my family was they said they were in a critical condition and they had surgery.

The doctor came out. "Sorry Jack but your mother, father and Sophie has past away. We did what we can."
I couldn't believe it. Most of my family is dead?

"That wasn't good enough! I can't believe it." I shouted at the doctor.

"Your brother is in a coma and still fighting for his life." The doctor said.

"You better not stuff up his life!" I yelled at the doctor.

"We'll do what we can Jack. Do you have any relatives you can stay with?" The doctor asks.

"Talk to me later." I tell him and I sped off on my motorcycle to my house.

Sobbing vigorously I trashed the whole house. But not even touching my family photos. "This cannot happen. It's not real. None of its real. They are joking with me. They are still alive." I told myself while bashing the walls. I could not get over the fact that they were gone ..

Rapunzel's family took me in and I underwent counseling, I changed my name. But none of it helped. Nothing can mend what was broken. Nothing.

Elsa Arendelle

I sat next to Jackson for our next lecture. He was absent from our last one. "Hey Jackson want my notes that you missed yesterday?" I ask him.

"I don't need them." He says.

"But they are essential for exams." I tell him.

"Passing doesn't matter." He says coldly.

"Then what's the point of college?!"

"Kill time." He answers.

I get my books and I slap him with it. "Don't act like an ass." I scold him.

Seriously I don't get why Violet likes him.

"I'm going to the Hot Pot after." I say randomly.

"You seriously can't cook .. and I'm going with you." He says.

"What? Why?" I ask.

"Hot Pot is in a dangerous district." He tells me.

"I can handle it."

"I'm going with you anyway." He says.

"Okay I'll meet you at the train station." I say.

I'm at the train station and Jackson doesn't show up. I've already missed 2 trains because of him. I go back to the campus and I knock loudly on his door. He opens it.

"What the hell you left me hanging!" I shout at him.

"Come in." He tells me calmly. I come in and I see McDonald's on his bed.

He didn't show up because he didn't want me to get hurt.

"What if I actually went without you?" I say.

"Then that would be a bad choice." He says he tosses me a bag of McDonald's with a McChicken, fries and he hands me coke from his mini fridge.

"So .. who is your roommate?" I ask.

"Some guy named Rick." He answers.

"Um how's James doing?" I ask him.

"Oh so Rapunzel told you ... he's on a wheelchair now." He says.

"We should visit him." I suggest.

"You can he's at Burgess Hospital. I'm not touching that crappy hospital." He says in distaste.

"Okay I will. I'll update you." I tell him. I finish my food and I get up. "Thanks for the food." I thank him.

"You're going now?" He says suprised.

"Why not?" I go out the door.

It's already 4pm, I can make it before the visiting hours close. I take the bus all the way to Burgess Hospital.

I ask the receptionist where James is and she says in some recovery area. So I go there and I spot him in paitent clothes and he's in bed.

"Elsa?" He seems shocked "Out of all people I didn't expect you to be here." James says.

"Yeah well ... Jackson and I are in the same college." I tell him.

"Hmm ... that seems like such a coincidence. And I see you've gotten use to calling him Jackson." He says. "I could never call him that. Even he knows that."

"So have you and Jackson ever talked?" I ask him.

"On the phone. He never stepped foot here. I woke up from the coma I was in for 6 months. I have to stay in the hospital full time to make a full recovery." James explains.

"That's great! You can make a full recovery. So how are you feeling?"

"Besides the fact that everyone except Jack in my family has died I feel fine." James mutters "But I'm so glad you left him. He always sat in the front seat if he came with us he'd be gone." He explains.

"Yeah I'm glad too." I say and smile sincerely at him.

"But it sucks because I have to repeat a year at school." He says.

"It's all for the education I guess." I tell him "So when will you be discharged from the hospital?"

"In a month hopefully." He says.

"Then you'll be living in the Corona household." I laugh.

"Jack is 18 now that means our house is now ours. I have to live alone and ... cook." James groans.

"Don't worry once you get discharged I'll show you how to cook even though I'm quite lazy when it comes to cooking " I tell him.

"Sounds good." He says. "A kiss? For old times sake." He flirts.

I shake my head and laugh "You haven't changed one bit."

We farewell each other and I leave.
