Yū frowned. "As long as we stick together, they won't track us." Yū said trying to make Shinoa smile. A small curl that Shinoa felt on her lips, that is forming a small smile. "Well, it is getting late. I better go to sleep." Shinoa said as she stretches her arms and body and yawn, "Night Yū." she said as she went inside the cottage. As soon as Shinoa went inside, Mika came out. "Hey Mika." Yū called out to him. Mika looked at Yū. "Can I join you guarding?" Yū asked the blonde-haired boy. The blonde boy open his mouth and nodded. So during the rain, Yū and Mika stayed up all night guarding, not long, the rain soon stop, Yū sat down on a dusty bench, as Mika sat down beside him, and they slowly fell asleep.
     It was morning. The sun still shines brightly as it was before. Yū and Mika are still asleep as they comfortably snore quietly, until, they were awoke by one familiar voice. "Wake up sleepy heads!" the voice came from Shinoa. "Huh?...What time is it?" Yū asked as he yawned still sleepy. "11 o'clock." Shinoa replied. This make Yū stood up in shockness that made him knock Mika off the ground. Mika, awoke as he thug is head onto the ground making him groaned in pain. "Ouch." Mika said as he touched his head. Shinoa smiled teasingly. "I knew I could get you two wake up." Shinoa said. "Relax Yū. It is still not 11 o'clock, it is still 6:30 in the morning." Kimizuki said. "Why you, Shinoa??!!!" Yū said angrily to Shinoa. "It is okay Yū. Besides, we almost overslept." Mika convinced Yū not to get angry to Shinoa as he patted Yū's shoulder. "Anyways, let's go!" Yū said. "It is so rude that you guys are leaving without saying goodbye and thank you to me." a familiar voice just spoke. We looked at the front door, seeing Nina already awake. Right now, she wore a red dress which is knee-length and the blue cape she is wearing yesterday night, and green boots. She has a bag that is slung across her shoulder. "Where are you going?" Mitsuba asked the short-handed girl. "I am coming with you. Besides, it has been a long time I haven't been fighting." Nina replied. "You also fight vampires?" Kimizuki asked. "Well, yeah. But I don't quitely hurt them before, I just knocked them down to sleep. But now, I am not taking it easy on vampires. Especially on Japanese Imperial Army." Nina answered. "So you know the Japanese Army?" Yoichi asked. "Yeah. I mean, aren't you guys use to be part of it?" Nina asked. They didn't respond on Nina's question. "Let's go! Nina, you are welcome to join us." Shinoa said.
    Along the way, they're still freezing in cold even though the rain has stop. "Hey Nina. How long have you been fighting vampires?" Yū asked as he approached to her. "Three years I guess. But I don't only help you humans, I also help vampires. Cause I know some vampires are kind." Nina replied, "I don't hurt both humans and vampires before, but right now, I am not going to be old Nina before on the vampires. The vampires had done many mistakes to me now." Nina explained. "Like what?" Yū asked again. "They had took a sip of my blood, they wounded me, they had killed the ones I loved." Nina replied, this time, she has no reaction. "I know that same feeling, losing someone you loved." Yū comforted Nina trying to make her smile. While they are talking, Shinoa looked at them. She observed them. 'Nina and Yū seem to be close to each other.' Shinoa thought very deeply.
   It took hours for them walking to reach their destination, Shinoa is still staring at Yū. "You know it is very suspicious that you're staring at someone while walking and not looking in the way." someone whispered to Shinoa. Shinoa turned, she saw Mika smirking at her. "What is your problem?" Shinoa asked. "Sign." Mika said. "Sign?" Shinoa asked confusely. All of a sudden, she suddenly tripped on something that make her fell on her face. Beside her feet, she saw a sign down. "That sign is what I am talking about." Mika teased. "Who put a sign in the middle of the road?" Shinoa asked angrily. "Speaking of roads, looks like we are already halfway near Nagoya." Mitsuba said as she looks around. "How long have we been walking?" Yoichi wondered. "Looks like we've been walking for hours." Nina explained.
   All of a sudden, a big explosion just happened nearby. Yū look over to the horizon. A thick smoke he saw. "What is that?" Kimizuki asked as he looks over to the horizon too.
