Hanby send the Mystery gang to Mr. Vinny's home with another park ranger named Ranger Luke. Y/N kept a close eye on any kind of movement in the woods for the Windigo or anything. Lagging slightly behind Velma was walking around looking at her phone. Daphne notices and lags behind to her. "Something on your mind?" She asks slightly intrigued by her quietness all day long. Not wanting to be bothered Velma scoffs. "Nothing." Is all she says but Daphne can see right through her lie. "I can tell its something else Velma." Daphne softly says to Velma making sure no one else can hear. "What's the matter?" Velma sighs and looks directly at Y/N. Daphne follows her lone of sight and figures out what she's upset about. "Boy troubles." Daphne casually says while Velma lightly smacks her arm. "I've been trying to get him to notice me." Velma softly states. "I've done what I could but with what happened with you guys during the Killer Queen escapade I don't have a chance." Daphne blushed recalling when before Killer Queen arrived at Y/N's house how she and Y/N had kissed. Her first kiss. "W-what are you talking about?" Daphne said trying to dodge the statement. Velma smacks her lips. "You guys were silent for 2 minutes and you guys are more comfortable around each other since then." Velma points out. "Any one can tell you guys did something, plus I could hear some breathing before you pressed that button on your wrist. Everyone falls for the pretty girl." Velma glumly says. Daphne reassuringly nudges Velma's arm. "Don't sell yourself short Velma, I've seen him take a few glances at you too." Velma's heart beats faster. "Beside I don't mind sharing." Daohne quips making Velma trip over her feet but quickly regains her composure.

Y/N looks back and sees the girls gossiping, he smiles again and turns back looking around for something. "Has there been anyone who's been trying to get the forest to shut down or been protesting?" Y/N asks Ranger Luke who thinks for a moment. "Not anyone recently, Ranger Hanby has been upset of people treating the forest bad but the last person who did that was Mr. Vinny's wife." Y/N thinks for a moment but Mr. Vinny's wife has been dead for years, at least that's what Ranger Hanby says. "How long?" Y/N asks. Luke thinks to himself again. "5 years." Luke answers. "No I'm talking about Ranger Hanby being upset about the park." Luke looks surprised for a second, the Windigo was there when Ranger Hanby was beside the Mystery gang. "A few weeks." Luke replies. Y/N knows how difficult it would be if Hanby was in costume as well but there is alway time for a team to do something like this. "We have to look at a possibility that even with all the him with us at the time of the attack there could be a team." Y/N points out remembering the Werewolf case they had. "How much further?" Shaggy asks looking around nervously. Ranger Luke looks down at his map and smiles. They're close. "Its only a few feet ahead." Shaggy sighs in relief but unbeknownst to the gang and Ranger Luke, the Windigo stood on a ledge in the mountain and sees them snarling.

The gang finally reaches the Eugene Vinny's cabin. Around it is a trench. Velma examines the trench as Luke knocks on the door. Soon enough the door opens and Eugene is there with the Algonquian beads in his hand. "What is it now Park Ranger?" Eugene sighs as if he's in trouble for something he didn't do. "These kids would like to ask you a few questions." Eugene notices Daphne and opens the door. "We just would like to ask what you know." Fred states before going inside. "About the Windigo right.?" Eugene asks as if he was unsure. "I only know a little." Eugene says closing the door while Velma sends a text to her mother. "What would you like to know?" Eugene asks sitting down in the nearest chair he could. "If you have snacks?" Scooby answers happily. Eugene cringes and leans back. "No I don't." Eugene grumbles. Scooby now sad he can't eat. Y/N sneaks away as nobody notices and Fred and Daphne now ask questions. "When you first saw the Windigo with your wife, what did it look like?" Daphne asks. Eugene shivers. "Lanky, hairy and that scary looking skull. It was terrifying, from afar I could see it huffing as if it ran a triathalon." Eugene says with his eyes closed. "My wife was amazed as I was terrified." Fred leans forward. "With the knowledge she knew about mystical being you'd bet your bottom dollar she'd be one of 'em." Eugene says. "About a year after we saw that Windigo she was started having heart problems." Eugene's emotions are glum, same as the others except Y/N who was looking around, still not noticed by anyone else. "She went for a hike one day and I heard the screeching, I ran out to find her, it was our special area and I saw nothing but blood around the area." Eugene has a tear roll down his cheek. "5 years I've been hoping she'd return but that damn Windigo got her." He says as his fist tightens so &ard you could hear it pop. Y/N is now seen by Velma in a doorway who motions his head to get her to go to him. Velma sneaks away and Y/N hands her a picture. It's of Eugene and what looks like his wife. "Is this his wife?" She asks the H/C boy. He nods and then points at the woman. "Look around her neck." Velma looks and see a beaded necklace. An Algonquian beaded necklace. "She's Algonquian?" Y/N nods. "I read on your laptop that those who wore the necklace never take it off, it protects them from the Windigo." Y/N explains. Velma then pulls out her phone. "I texted my mom about anything else she'd know about the Windigo since she's fascinated with monsters." She hands the phone to Y/N. "'The Windigo is a lonely beast who hunt in the woods either to protect or kill the living in their woods, before the Algonquian tribe stepped foot onto the ground, it would save the previous tribes from bears or other wild animals.'" Y/N reads. "What if we were looking at this wrong Velma." Y/N says as if he had a euphoria moment. "What if the Windigo has been protecting the people." Velma thinks about it for a moment. "Ranger Hanby had said they had animal rummaging around their area and if campers were around, what if it was getting people away from danger." Velma questions. Y/N then adds. "Its a possibility but it's the most we have now." Velma is now stumped. "But why did the Windigo chase us off?" Y/N didn't have time to answer as an ringing could be heard. Y/N and Velma run back to the others and see Eugene grabbing a rifle on the wall. "I'll be damned if that thing gets over here." Eugene grumbles opening the door open roughly. He aims at a moving object and shoots at it luckily missing. Why luckily. The figure he shot at drops and yells. "Coolsville Sheriff, drop it!" The gang runs over and see Sheriff Stone with his gun drawn at Eugene. Eugene drops the gun and puts his hands in the air. "What the hell is going on around here?" Sheriff Stone asks in a panic at being shot at. Y/N looks back at Eugene. "He thought you were a Windigo Sheriff." Bronson holsters his gun and roughly exhales. "I'd imagine I'd do the same." Bronson grumbles. "Mayor Nettles wants to know if you've made any progress." Fred rubs the back of his neck and chuckles nervously. "We don't have much but what we do know is that uh.....well uh...." Bronson waits for an answer but sighs. "You have nothing." Y/N  interjects. "Not really, Velma and I may have something." Sheriff Stone turns to Y/N waiting for 'the something' they have. "Velma and I read that before the Algonquian tribe came, the Windigo used to help people, even saving them." Y/N explains but the sheriff crosses his arms. "Help or not, we have a man in the hospital because of it." The gang are shocked by the news. "One of the campers were admitted to the hospital from a stroke." Y/N sighs and runs his hands through his hair. "We gotta catch this thing." Y/N softly says. Fred smirks and puts his hand on his waist and proudly looks up. "Its trapping time." The gang were not amused. "A Power Ranger quote, really Fred." Daphne groans.

Later that Night

In the woods Shaggy and Scooby were at a campsite roasting marshmallows. "You know Scoob, monster or not, nothing beats a good chocolate and ketchup s'more." Shaggy says as Scooby pours chocolate syrup and ketchup on a s'more. "Raint that the truth." Scooby says licking his lips. "Like that Windigo isn't even that scary, like if that thing were to even show up I'd give him a good one two." Shaggy says as he pours Ketchup on his s'more and Scooby chuckles and eats his s'more. "Like that Wendigo is just a phony playing dressup." Shaggy says eating his s'more. Scooby was ready to roast another marshmallow but he could see a figure behind him. Knowing they're in trouble Scooby points to the figure behind Shaggy who is still bad mouthing the Windigo. "Like that thing doesn't scare me, if it were here I'd look it dead in its creepy eyes and call it a punk!" Shaggy says and Scoiby furiously points behind Shaggy. Shaggy gulps and slowly turns to see the Windigo slowly raising up. Between Shaggy whimpering and Scooby trembling the two are frozen in place as the Windigo gets in Shaggy's face and screeches causing them to scream.

Deep in the woods Y/N smiles at Fred. "Let's do it." Y/N says as he and Fred run towards the trap.

Shaggy and Scooby take off running with the Windigo chasing after them. Dodging every swipe throw at them they finally arrive at the park entrance. Y/N and Fred pulls a rope tripping the Windigo who rolls on a net that Sheriff Bronson quickly wraps it up and puts two metal pieces in the net on the Windogo's arms and clips two cables to it. "NOW!" Fred yells. Daphne takes the initiative and starts the Mystery Machine causing the cable connected to the car to shock the Windigo. The Windigo stands strong for a moment and falls to the ground breathing heavily. "Thanks for the help Sheriff Stone." Fred thanks extending his hand. Bronson shakes Fred's hand. "Anything to get this thing out of here." Velma smiles and walks to the Windigo. "Not thing." She says grabbing the antlers on the skull and pulls it off. "Mrs. Vinny." Velma says revealing Eugene's wife who sits up breathing heavily. "WHAT?!" Eugene blurts in surprise. "But that's not possible." Eugene's wife shakes her head. "It is, if your taking about the blood you found, it was from a bear that almost got me." She explains. "For years I've been studying the Windigo, it was amazing to read about, it helped people but once the Algonquian's had taken the land and shunned the Windigo because 'it was a freak of nature.'" She sighs in defeat. "But like why?" Shaggy asks. "Even before I 'died' people were trying to destroy the forest, their littering, their campfires and such. "I took the opportunity as soon as I could. I found a elk skull and bear's fur so I decided to hatch a plan to get people to stop coming here. I got some good strong enough logs and used them as my 'legs'." For months I've been getting people to leave and the forest couldn't be more better." She grumbles glaring at the kids. "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids and that dumb dog." She grumbles as Sheriff Stone cuffs her. "But why did you chase us away earlier?" Velma asks. "I didn't kid. This is the first time I saw you." She says as Sheriff Stone pulls her away. The gang turns to each other in surprise. "If it wasn't her, then what was it?" Daphne asks.

From another ledge, a figure looks down at them. The Windigo, the real Windigo looks down at them before walking off.

After they wrap up the case, Y/N drives everyone home, dropping off Shaggy first, then Fred and Daphne. Velma was next until Y/N took a turn to Mystery Inc. Velma notcies and looks back. "Y/N you turned way to early." Velma points out but Y/N smiles. "I just need to get a file back from Mystery Inc. then I'll take you home." Y/N says as he pulls up to the Mystery Inc. building. Y/N gets out and Velma does the same. "While we're here I guess I should plug up my laptop and look at a few more thing Mayor Nettles wants us to do." Velma informs. Y/N nods and takes his keys out and unlocks the door letting Velma in first. Once inside Velma goes to her desk and grabs a folder of possible Mystery cases as Y/N opens the Windigo case file. "We have a case on a ghost pirate at the docks." Velma says. Y/N shakes his head. "Former employee who got laid off." He says bot looking up from the folder. "Okay, Mysterious robots robbing a bank." Velma read but Y/N shakes his head again. "Father trying to get money so he can keep his house, police solved those cases before we even got a chance." Y/N informs. Velma sighs and slams the folders down. Y/N looks up and walks over to Velma's desk. "Alright, I'm not gonna take 'it's nothing' anymore, what's the matter?" Y/N asks leaning toward the brunette.  Velma wasn't sure if she should lie because Y/N would know but if she told the truth would he turn her down. Y/N didn't move waiting for an answer. Velma sighed ready to answer but stayed silent. "Is it me and Daphne?" He asked. Velma froze and blushed, in jealousy. "Who told you?" Velma asks trying to not sound upset. Y/N chuckled and used his finger to list Velma's face to see his. "No one." He says softly. "I could tell even back to when we were at the campsite that something big was bothering you even when we were on our way to Eugene's cabin." Y/N says taking his finger of Velma's chin. "I don't know what Daphne and I have, all we did was kiss and since then nothing major has happened." Y/N informs. "I admit I do like Daphne but I also like you." Y/N says looking at the wall behind her. "I don't know what to do in this situation. I want you, I want Daphne but this whole love triangle thing is difficult." Y/N says not looking away from the wall and Velma not taking her eyes off of him. "Both of you are beautiful and I want you both happy but if I were to be in a relationship with one of you how would the other feel." Y/N says in a tone she never heard before. Y/N stands and walks back to his desk and grabs the keys. "I'll be in the Mystery Machine." He says walking out the door. Velma isn't sure if she did anything wrong or not but seeing this he is in a position where he can't pick a side. Velma closes her laptop and heads to the door but from inside she can see Y/N in the Mystery Machine see his with his hands on his face. With everything happening Y/N is always the one that makes the big decisions but this one, has to be the most difficult. Velma walks out of Mystery Inc. locking the door behind her. Velma opens the Mystery Machine door and Y/N quickly fixes himself and starts up the Mystery Machine and takes her home.

Once there, Y/N parks it on the side of the road finally breaking the ice and silence. "I'm sorry if I made things awkward back there." He apologized. Velma shook her head his hands. "No it's my fault for bringing it up." Velma apologized. "I just can't help but be jealous and with the predicament your in I'm making it more diff..." Velma didn't get to continue as she was shocked. His lips were on hers. Her first kiss. Y/N. Y/N pulls away staring at her as she was blushing furiously. "I'm sorry." He apologized again looking at the wheel. Velma didn't say anything but cupped Y/N's face and kissed him. They close their eyes and continue to kiss. Y/N breaks the kiss again as Velma smiles. Y/N has so many thoughts running through his head, like how hard this is gonna be but he still smiled. "I just been wanting to do that all night." Y/N says blushing. "Can we all talk about this later?" Y/N asks. "Me, you and Daphne." Velma nods and opens her door. "I'd like that." Velma says closing the door and walking inside. Y/N's head hits the
