~August~

Princely duties weren't what they made out to be in books, they didn't get to host parties all night long, and spend their free time flirting with ladies. No the cruel hardship of being a prince, was everything about appearance and doing hours upon hours of paperwork. Ren, my personal butler, said," You have a dinner to attend to with the mef'wa royals..Then.." Oh and did I mention, the most dreadful duty of all? Meetings. They were utterly boring, yet as boring as the job was, it was important. That much I knew, I could stand the paperwork, could stand having to attend social gathers.. Well, I least I was able to, until Father got all the women to talk to me. Though they never became anything more than friends, and though sometimes a kiss was shared, it never had that spark that click, like it does with Mylo. A reason I mated with him, besides his understanding nature and his glorious..I'm getting off topic. The one thing I couldn't take was meetings. I said," We haven't talked normally in a while Ren, how has like treated you.?" Ren sighed and said," As normal as ever, you left me with your family, and now Lord Augustus has me teaching your brother how to handle a group of people as he said." I raised a brow, as I stated my opinion," September does completely fine with crowds of people, he just doesn't like socialization. Why would Father ever think of having you teach him?" Ren shrugged, as he said," I have no idea, all I know is that I'm going to have to fight Sep all the way. He absolutely hates me."

Oh, no. Please don't leave me here with your family, August! Rein thought, as he turned around. His father said," Close the door, servant." Rein did as told, and dared not to look at the eyes of the council or Lord Augustus. Lord Augustus said," How have you been?" Rein said," If there is something you want from me, can we skip the pleasantries?" Rein knew that they could feel his apprehension and fear with being in a room of superiors without August, the prince and soon-to-be alpha, helping him. Lord Augustus said," I need you to mentor September on how to handle a group of people." Rein said," Wouldn't someone be more suited to the job? I have little experience in that field, sir." Lord Augustus said, with a glare," You will be teaching him." Rein nodded, and said," Yes sir."

September absolutely hates me, there was this one time where September had too much to drink and I was a little drunk, I admit, not very professional of someone of my butler status, but it lead to a little kiss, which lead to a full on makeout, which lead to...attraction. It never went farther than kisses, but September has told me countless times that I have cursed him; as the girls that he kisses; no doubt to erase the memory of mine from that night; no longer turn him on. I will admit to myself, that September is attractive. Much like his brother, he shares a lot of attributes similar to his father, but unlike August's hair, he keeps it in a just got out of bed hair look, that's only slightly styled. Though September does pull off that look, really well. I would never voice these thoughts to another soul though, and that extents to August as well. No one except September and I, know about what happened. The moon goddess said with our kiss that we would make a good couple and though she is suggesting it highly, if September's first revelation of kissing girls wasn't a sign then I don't know what is. It has been about 2 years though, and September has not budged to give him and I a chance. Why would he? I am but a humble butler, and he a prince, leagues ahead of me. Maybe this is why August hides his relationship with that Mef'wa commoner.? I would not know, as August's personal life is not one, I indulge in. September already has enough of a fortress around his heart for me to sneak into, no need to try and get through August's barrier around his mind. I shook my head, as for August not to respond to my sudden statement, as I continued with the meeting he had today. Thankfully he let me be, as he let me list every thing he had to do that afternoon.

You probably thought this was gonna be boring..? Nope, I just introduced some more characters, Rein is a character that was in the original making of this.. I've had to re-write this story about three times before making it perfect.. As the original concept was too complex.. Basically, Mylo was a slave and a thief.. and then the second time he was a prisoner and a thief, now he's 'just a thief.' Obviously, that's not all he is, but it's more of what he is. Not personality wise though, he could steal your heart with his cute ways though. Anyway, what do you think of Rein and September's relationship? My estimate on the book ending is at about 20 chapters, but It's maybe more chapters than that.. My estimate is at the least 20 chapters.
