Lesson no.1: I do slow updates.

Simone's pov

I laid on the hard concrete floor. Blood was seeping down my face slowly from a gash in my head. I didn't dare move from my spot, they can tell when I move.

I flinch as the door opens and the distinctive smell of an alpha fills the room. As I am facing away from the door I just listen to the footsteps as they get closer. The footsteps stop beside me and I clench my eyes shut.

"Hey mutt, sit up." I hear Alpha Ron say and I immediately sit up, kneeling infront of him with my head down. He grabs my hair and forces me to look at him. I look away to the right. He lets out a growl from deep within his throat and I let out a small whimper in response. He throws me back down onto the ground. His foot stomps down on the side of my head and I let out a yelp of pain.

He laughs at me and turns around and leaves. I shut my eyes tight wishing that life was better like the old days. I eventually fall asleep.

I wake up in an unfamiliar place. I was miraculously in my wolf form I never remember shifting into. Instead of the hard cold concrete I'm used to it was more of a soft dirt. I lean up looking around noticing how my surroundings are completely different.

I'm in a small clearing, there are trees all around me. I look around seeing nobody in sight. I sniff around smelling nobody from my pack around.

It smells like they left me on the very edge of another pack's territory.

I look around at my surroundings seeing nobody in sight. I get up and stretch my sore body and look around again not noticing a figure crouched in the bushes.

I shake my fur out slightly, but stop short as I hear a deep growl. I jump and immediately turn to the source of the noise, seeing a beta wolf crouched down beside the bush, in a threatening position. The wolf is well groomed and not very dirty at all.

My eyes widen, and I crouch down in a submissive manner. He starts to advance at me and I back up quickly not wanting to engage in any activities (ya know engaging into combat. Nothing else. I'm a dirty knob). He backs me up until I hear running steps towards my direction. My eyes widen as I realize that he backed me into the pack territory.

I turn to run but my escape is blocked by a big black wolf. Obviously an alpha. I change my stance to a terrified stance, putting my ears flat against my head, my tail between my legs, my body low to the ground.

I look around frantically for my escape, but not spotting one as I am surrounded. The dark haired alpha creeps forward and I see my opportunity. I bolt to the spot where he was running towards the gap, but before I get there I get tackled by the alpha wolf. I cry out in fear trying to wiggle from beneath him but ending up giving up submitting to him.

He shifted into his human form, and pushed himself up as I looked at him with fear filled eyes. The dark skinned male above me got up and picked me up.

I whimpered squirming in his grasp as he held me tightly against his chest.

He started traveling back deeper into the territory me trembling in his arms. The other wolves following behind. We got to a big house and I whimpered using the last of my energy to struggle, in a futile attempt.

We went inside as the wolves behind us transformed into humans. I was taken to a room that just had a full bed in the corner and a bedside table with a lamp. The floor is carpeted so that's a plus right? He puts me down on the bad and I immediately get up. He growls as I get up scaring the witts out of me as I quickly scan for an exit.

I can't run out the door because it's closed, no windows are open so I just dart under the bed. I hear him sigh and kneel down looking at me as I whimper hiding my head in my paws slightly shaking. He shifts to his wolf form and lays beside the bed.

I keep myself down letting out small whimpers every so often. He gets up at one point changing into human form as he gets up. He heads to the door and leaves shutting the door behind him.

I slowly move to the side of the bed and steal everything on the bed sheets and all. I make myself a cacoon under the bed. I curl myself up in the fort not really understanding why I did it.

The door opens and I pop my head up immediately watching as a pair of feet move closer to the bed. The person leans down at the side of the bed and I pull my head back in my fort. I hear something placed on the floor and slowly peak my head back out my fort.

I see a plate of food on the floor as I watch the person sit down seeing the same alpha from before. He had his own food as he started to eat.

My stomach growls painfully, as I whimper quietly and pull myself back into my fort. I hear the guy move around a little as I try to ignore the faint smell of food in the room.

I move around trying to get comfortable in my spot. I can't seem to find a comfortable spot to lay. I just lay down even though I'm not comfortable. I bury myself with the blanket and put my head in my paws.

"Hey, can you please come out and eat something?" the alpha says. I can't really refuse as I slowly crawl out of my fort. I sheepishly crawl to the side of the bed.

He looks up as I make it to the edge of the bed.
