Guidelines/Sign Up
Welcome everyone to my sixth writing contest! I'm very touched that you all got me to 2,500 followers. You all are so supportive and it motivates me to write more and more. Thank you.
However, before I get into the rules of the contest and the sign up, I have to ask for you to look at a set of rules/suggestions as to if you should enter the contest or not.
DO NOT sign up if...
-You're sensitive to feedback.
If you can't handle simple feedback on where you can improve, don't enter.
-Not an active Wattpad user.
If you're normally active daily or every other day, you're more than welcome to enter. I've had winners and contestants who completely dropped off the face of the earth mid contest.
-Sensitive to Losing/Sore Loser
Yes, I've had people cry to me saying they should've won or expected to win because 'they poured hours of their time and heart into their stories'. Sorry but, if you don't win, you don't win.
^Most of these DO NOT ENTER rules spawn from writers from my previous writing contest hence why I gave specifics. I don't want to give names, and you know who you are.
Basically, in these writing contests you write something for me with VERY loose guidelines. When I mean by 'me' I just mean I'll give a variety of fandoms and you can choose which fandom you want to write for. When everyone has submitted their piece, I'll calculate who wins 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. I make sure to give everyone feedback on their pieces on where you could improve or what I especially love about it after the winners have been announced. And yes, even the winners get feedback on where they can improve so don't get on me about that. I judge in a fair manner, meaning I judge based on the quality of writing but I'm sure you already knew that.
The rules are basically the same as all the other contests but still, I suggest you look them over. I've made minor rule edits.
Guidelines:
-The Subject of your submission can be anything One Piece, My Hero Academia, Pokemon, Tiger & Bunny or Kingdom Hearts related which includes OTP/ships, x Reader, smut/lemon, or even a random story that involves the characters.
However, I do ask that if you do write for Pokemon that you don't write humanoid Pokemon x Readers/oc. Please use actual characters from that universe.
-You are free to use your own OCs within your submission. Just make sure to leave any background information if necessary.
-Word count must be at least 1,000 words and you must label how many words the story is upon submisson. Anything less than 1,000 or lacks a word count won't be judged.
-DO NOT submit an entire book/multiple part story unless cleared up with me first.
-Your submission must be a brand new piece. This means your piece hasn't been published before this contest. (I've had people submit preexisting pieces that they've submitted in other contests and disqualified them)
-Although you cannot publish a multiple part story without permission, word count shouldn't exceed 6,000 words. (The limit used to be 10k but I learned the hard way that 10k is too long.)
-You must tag me within the story or message me in order to submit your piece. The story can be in a new book or preexisting book.
-You ARE allowed to publish/enter multiple pieces into the contest. However, I will only judge the one I like best. Therefore, entering multiple pieces doesn't increase your chances of winning.
-If you want to actually integrate me/my OC into the story (it isn't necessary) Here's a few details that you may want to know about me:
° I go by these nicknames: T, Teru, or Storm. Storm is the name I go by in real life and on social media.
°My OC is gender neutral. I can be girl or boy, your choice.
°Me and my OC aren't very different. Consider me to have very dark brown and/or black hair and green eyes.
°My quirk or devil fruit ability would be metal manipulation just like the Reader within my book Ignition/Remedy.
°If I were to have a pet/companion it would be a fox or an owl.
°Personality traits:
-Shy to new people, outgoing with friends
-Smart: Excels in the science field particularly electricity and robotics
-Helpful
-Loyal, once she gets a friend she won't leave their side/easily attached
-Does before she thinks
-Silent
-An Antihero: She treads the fine line of light and dark as she sees the pros and cons of either side of a situation in order to find a true middle.
