Contest Winners and Prizes
Wow what a contest! It was hard placing all of you, I loved all of the submissions so much! You all were amazing, moving out of your comfort zones too! And, I meant it when I said it was hard placing all of you. At the beginning of this part I will say who 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are. Then I'll tell you your prizes, and the final half is my personal notes on those of you who didn't place but I believe everyone deserves praise for all your hard work.
1st Place:
Starflower1206
Bitter Separations and Sweet Reunions.
You are the last to submit your story, and have one of the longest submissions but not the longest. Took me like two hours to finish reading this! At the end of your story, you said that it was horrible. Yes, your grammatical errors were horrific, but look where it landed you. In first place! Your story kept my attention and even though it closely followed the storyline of One Piece, it was another story of its own that I truly feel should become a book. Id love to read more on Law, Corazon, and the Readers short time together. Those sleepless nights nursing Law, and the powerful reunion too. Good job!
2nd Place:
Space_Walrus23
Villain Izuku x Reader
I love villain Izuku so I was thrilled when you wrote a One shot about him. I was hooked on the story up until the very end, but I think you could've went back in and edited the story a bit. It lacked detail, Izuku and reader's last confrontation didn't meet expectations, they could've fought or talked just a little bit longer. And since you gave the reader a cool as hell quirk, I want to see her use the quirk more! I truly feel you can make a book out of this One shot. Which is why you received second.
3rd Place:
_Black-_-Rabbit
Lawlu
You never cease to amaze me, you're doing such a great job carrying on one of my dropped books and then you pull this together! It was a great and unexpected plot twist when Luffy passed away. You've already heard me say it, but I loved your depiction on death in this One shot and actually can't wait to do something similar in a piece of my own. You could tell Law and Luffy greatly cared about one another which ended with my heart breaking tbh. Your only downfall is your detail was existent but needed more work, I think this story could be made into something better.
Remember, here are your potential prizes depending on what place you're in. Message me to claim your prize!

Final Notes: My notes are my likes, dislikes, and constructive advice for you to help you fix and realize your where you could've done better and to become a better writer. When I took Creative Writing in High School, constructive criticism is what shaped me into the writer I am today, it broke me out of bad habits like run on sentences, sentence fragments, and better use of mechanics. So if I upset you, let me know.

Alive! Brook x Reader
Your story felt the most original, the timeline or story of One Piece didn't affect the story at all (besides Brook's time of death). I could feel the Reader's pain of loss and the want to be reunited with Brook again. Your mechanics needed a bit of work though, but you had a firm grasp on everything.

To Achieve Your Dream: Franky x Reader
Franky is one of my favorite characters in One Piece, so of course I loved this story. Your mechanics were great. The story would've been placed if you made it more your own, you strictly stuck to the storyline of the show which made the story too predictable and overdone.
ibfs223
All Might x Enji Todoroki
I'll be honest, I never even thought that this was a ship to begin with. You made it work though, so I give you major props! My concern was that your story was really straight forward, like this happened then that. The characters felt out of character too which is expected coming from a ship where two rivals come together. I liked this story either way, your piece was the most daring!
panda_brownie
Oc x Zoro
It was cute how you incorporated my OC as the baby in the story. There wasnt much for me to critique in there, I do however think that your OC and Zoro could've interacted more. I want to see how they love and care for each other and why Zoro was so okay with adopting a child. Actions speak louder than words.
liliaicha1500
Luffy x Innocent Reader
You are the second person to incorporate my OC into the story, and that little detail wasn't even required, it was a 'just for fun' detail that you used to your advantage and your One shot relied on said factor. Your story was really cute and believable and the comic relief moments were placed perfectly. I did cut you some slack since English isn't your first language, sometimes your story was hard to understand but I knew exactly what you meant.

When Push Comes To Shove
Quality beats quantity, your story takes the cake for the longest submission as a 3+ part book/story. You're descriptive, but it just wasn't Wow! Too much dialogue with little to no base is an easy story killer. From one author to another I did take a note or two from your story since I just realized that my stories are falling under the same issue. Hope I helped!!!
This was a fun contest, I don't plan to hold another one for a long while especially now since I'm over 650 followers and don't want to celebrate 700 followers... But I love you all and hope you had fun as well. Remember to message me for your prizes!
