Vicky!!!Mom called from the living room
It was kinda of awkward seeing mom in the living room...
I hurried down the stairs to meet her,
Vicky she started I immediately knew I was in for a long talk as she called my name before talking.I knew my mom very well. I'll be traveling today she said. I looked at her with my mouth opened it was strange mom never traveled without telling me days before she goes. Kendra would be coming over.She said. Aunty K as I called her was mom junior sister, I was fond of her because she was like the sister I never had.

My name is Victoria Hills, I live with my mom who is a single parent, I've never seen my dad but I've heard stories about him. Mom has never told me what really transpired between them. She always skips the issue anytime I bring it up. Aunty K was more or less my best friend.

Before mom had left Aunty K came with some Personal belongings I guess cause she was holding  a bag. We both saw mom off to the airport, we both said our goodbyes not knowing when she would return. Mom never told her return dates. I guess she  always wanted to surprise us or I would say catch us doing the unexpected...
With  mom gone,I and Aunty K retired slowly into the car.We did not talk much on our way back home.
I'll guess we were still taking in Moms journey.But nevertheless when we got home Aunty began her usual self, Booming music in the air, sometimes I wonder if she was a dancer in the previous life.
Anyways she was my real world entertainer. I loved Aunty Kendra presence cause we never drew plans we just lived the day as it came by...

I heard the hooting of David's car outside,lest I forget...David is my childhood friend I've known him forever...Aunty K always calls him my boyfriend which he is not..David is girl's choice, I  guess cause he is the basketball ball captain. Don't really know the connection between captains and chicks...

I attend Varsity High, I'm  an A straight student,I'm a music person.At my free time I write songs. Peter came up to me and asked if I could be his Valentine...Peter was a basketball player and I kinda had a crush on him...Snitch!!I said in my mind David had blabbed.Vicky!! Peter snapped You were saying I asked pretending I had not heard him before..
Would you be my Valentine he asked looking at my eyes as if the answers were there..
I'll think about it, I said in a shaky voice
When would I get my reply he asked taking my hands. He knew what he was doing he was making me feel feeble.. I quickly disengaged and said I'll come give you the response tomorrow... I left him and was walking down the hallway I  felt someone eyes on me,He was still there still staring,  I  quickly hastened my footsteps... The final bell rang, I saw David and his"goofy hoes" by the car..As I approached the car I found out the goofy hoes were just the school cheerleaders. I wonder what they where doing there.. Danielle came up to  me, hey Vicky she said sounding nice I replied her with a smirk, not knowing really why. Guess she got  the memo.. Vicky she said we would like for you to try out  the cheer leading squad. Could this day get any better.When I was almost over Peter and Valentine. Now the sassy ones  were inviting me to try out their squad..I didn't think twice I said a resounding yes to Danielle...Very well she said and gave me some info concerning the squad and left..
OMG!! Did they really ask you to join their squad Peter asked...I  snubbed him and got into the car
What's wrong he asked turning my face towards him
Why did you tell Peter I have a crush on him...I said raising my voice!!!
Seriously!! He said
What makes you think I would do that
Ooo...I get Peter mentioned you today he asked me if it was okay if he could ask you to be his Valentine..
I opened my mouth in awe
So you mean you did not tell Peter anything
Come on  babe we keep each other secrets so why would I snitch. What would I even gain If tell him he said turning the radio on...
Well I guess that settles it.
So tell me what  was your response he asked winking  at me.
David can be annoying at times
I said I'll think about it..
Hmmmm...David sighed and started the car
Me and Bella would be hanging out later..
Wanna come..Sure I said...

Aunty K had already prepared lunch for me she was not yet back from work..
I took my lunch and retired to my room...
Later in the day, David sent me the location of the meet-up...
What!!! Crunches
I said as I went through the message...
I sighed and pulled out a black jean with a camouflage polo to go with just as u liked simple dressing..
In less than an hour David showed up with Bella.
Me and Bella greeted each other with her complimenting my shoes..
D..I said as I climbed into the car we called each other names..Sometimes I wonder if Bella was cool with it...But she never bothered guess she understood..

CRUNCHES

Most varsity high students loved to hang out in crunches for some reason.
It was at the center of town, I ordered cola and a vegetable burger.
P.S I'm a vegetarian
David and Bella ordered the same(samosas and soda).

We really took time at crunches, we did much of talking,from the squad to Peter bringing about my Valentine date. I had not even said yes to Peter and here he was calling him my date...
David dropped Bella off before me cause me and David kinda lived close,They baded their goodnight kisses which u think took forever..They seemed to have forgotten I was there.
Phew! I said making them break their long kiss.
Look like someone's jealous. David said enjoying the moment.
Bella smiled pecked him goodnight and went into the house.
What was that for. I said looking at him with a stern face..
You know you should say yes to Peter before it's too late. He said.
Here we go again.I said under my breath
He was good at giving relationship advice. I wonder if he ever listens  to himself...
I didn't want to start what I could not finish, so I let it pass...
