Depending on what colour a sorcerers life-force is in my worlds it reflects the sorcerers magical element.
If the life force is cracked or shattered the sorcerer will die, Slowly.
If the damaged life force is not contained or the energy is not transferred then it can turn a dying sorcerer into a large elemental monster. Their is no known cure for this and most people struck by this curse are normally encased in stone by multiple green sorcerers.

Healing spells and protection spells
Monster example:

Purple = psychic magic
Monster example:

Orange= pyromancer/ fire, lava, explosive, heat spells.
Monster example:

Blue= ice, water, and temperature dropping spells.
Monster example:

Light blue= wind, air current
Monster example:

Gold= large light sources, glows, feels happy mostly and makes others around them happy.
