Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Bad situations can be described as terrible events inevitably happening in human life. Although some people calmly and perceive these bad experiences, others endeavor to change the situation. In this essay, I would like to elaborate these two options and express my own opinion.

On the one hand, accepting challenging problems can be advantageous in some cases. To begin with, it is not always easy to adjust to what is bad or wrong, so acceptance of negative events can be considered as a more positive attitude to life. For example, if a job seeker has not succeeded in getting an offer, instead of feeling desperate, she can simply appreciate all rejection letters, helping boost her confidence in sending applications to as many companies as possible. Moreover, the ability to accept something bad can train people to adapt themselves to any new surroundings. For example, living and studying abroad, young students may be faced with difficult problems, but many of them have to become desensitized in order to understand the situation and get used to a foreign lifestyle.

On the other hand, the opponents of the above-mentioned would argue that trying to improve bad situations can be a workable solution. Firstly, they believe that if they try to correct the bad sides of any circumstances, the final result will probably be better. For example, if parents want a child to study law why his preferred major is anthropology, he can try to explain his interest and career path to his parents. Secondly, improving bad events can be a contributing factor to success in life. For example, before heading to Yale, Hillary Clinton had been fired from her brief stint at a salmon cannery in Valdez, Alaska. Later she has achieved success in politics due to her determined efforts not to give up and change bad events happening in her life.

In conclusion, whether accepting or trying to improve bad situations can be a controversial subject currently. In my opinion, I am in favor of the idea that people should attempt to improve terrible situations.
