The actor of political science is the State at rest and the State in action.

Political science is categorized into three different branches including: the expression of the State will, the content of the State will as expressed, and the executive of the State will.

The expression of the State will:

Political theory can be acted as an important factor to determine the organization and action of the State. National law, or military force can be considered as the organs to protect the State, and prove the State condition on the global sphere.

The content of the State will:

The State is operated by national law. According to ‘Social contrast” by Jean Jacques Rousseau or ‘Two treatise of the government” by Jonh Locke, individuals formed the government to protect their natural rights. Ntonal law is the contrast between the State and the citizens to  ensure the smooth operation of the State.

Executive of the State will:

Court, police, military fiorce can be considered as the part of executive branch of the State. The purpose of this branch is to ensure that the rules of the State have been obeyed by citizens and to purnish and sentence those who violate the law.

If we want to understand thorough the origin of the Political science, we need to study this subject through its relations with other fields.

Political science and sociology:

The actor of political science is the State at rest and the State in action. The purpose of sociology is to study to national social life. Political science and sociology are reciprocal. Through studying the social operation (vote and election), political science can complete its theory. Through applying theory of political science in some aspects of  social life can ensure the well-operation of the country.

Political science and history:

History is simply the description of events. Political science will base on the historical events to analyse it,categorize it to clarify these events under the spectrum of political science.

Political science and economic:

Economic ensures the sustainable of national political life. Politics can answer the phenomena of economy. Therefore, from the relation of political science and economic, Internationl political econy and international economic politics have been appeared.

Political science and ethics:

What determines the difference between States is ethics. Ethics will make a great contribution to the complete of Political Science.
Nation is a collection of individuals united by ethnic,.., irrespective of political combination. In another word, a population of an ethnic unity (having a common language, literature, tradition, history, custom, consciousness of rights and wrongs), inhabiting a territory of a geographic unity is a nation.

A nation may be divided into two or more states on account of territorial seperation.

According to United States Supreme Court, a State is a body of free persons, united together for the common benefit, to enjoy peaceably what is their own, and to do justice to others.

Some essential elements of the State include: A community of people socially united, A political machinery (government) and administered by a corps of officials (magistracy), a body of rules (written or unwritten) determining the scope of this public authority and the manner of its exercise.

Characteristics of the State comprise: All- comprehensive (not recognize the existence of any stateless persons whithin the State territory), exclusive (its citizens or subjects obedience to each government thus constituted), permanent, sovereign.
