The mind plays tricks
Enid has to run, she just finished the first meeting, the sewing club's meeting, now she is running for the track team's meeting..... and after that she will have to do it for the rowing team's meeting, they have to win the Po cup again this year.
"Damn it!"
Enid crashes into a wall; she is not used to running with wolf speed on such smooth floors with the silly leather loafers she is wearing at the moment, they don't give her any grip at all.

Wednesday, after leaving fencing practice early, went back to her room to anticipate her writing time, or rather, to write until Enid returns to the dormitory as well, and she knows full well that it will be a long time, she just hopes she doesn't have to go and retrieve her to keep her from skipping dinner.
In those days after returning to Nevermore, Wednesday did a lot more writing than she had done during the summer and even now her fingers are tapping fast on the computer keyboard and ideas are clear in her mind, or so she thinks.
Thing returned to the room an hour later Wednesday. At the raven's request he had followed, or at least, tried to follow Enid, but after the rowing team meeting he had lost her.
He hoped to find Enid's schedule for the day on the girl's laptop; what she did not expect was to see Wednesday use it. Or rather, to see the girl using two computers at the same time, with her left hand she seems to be typing her novel on her PC, while with her right hand she is sifting through what appear to be old historical documents on some pages in incognito mode.
The amputated appendage continues to remain hidden on the ceiling beam for another twenty minutes observing Wednesday. There is something strange about it, Wednesday is obsessed with her novel and also with her investigations, but to go so far as to carry them out simultaneously..... Young Addams would be the first to say that it is a counterproductive choice.
Thing makes up his mind and drops onto the desk in front of Wednesday.
"Thing!...What are you doing here?"
Thing watches as Wednesday closes all the screens on Enid's PC, turns it off, and then stuffs it into the pink laptop bag she has next to her desk. All of this, however, happens without Wednesday taking her eyes off from Thing.
"So?"
The poor appendix is uncertain, it was too strange and abnormal even for Wednesday.
Enid ran all over the school and I lost her; I was hoping to find her schedule to advance her to the next meeting.
"Try on his PC, it's in the pink laptop bag next to her bed"
Now Thing is seriously concerned.
Wednesday has just turned off Enid's laptop in front of him and always in front of him has slipped it into the pink bag just mentioned, which, however, is not located where Wednesday claims.
Actually, it's right there on the ground beside you....
Wednesday frowns, first casting a glance next to Enid's bed, where she is sure she saw the laptop bag a few hours earlier. Failing to spot anything like it, she gives up and looks aside at her desk, where to her dismay she finds the pink bag, with the grouper still open showing the open laptop.
Wednesday is restless, not sure why such an insignificant thing is making her so agitated.
"Probably....Probably it's Enid's usual inability to keep her things in order."
The girl turns back to the PC and brings both hands to the keyboard, she feels strange, as if her body has finally regained a comfortable position after so long that it was decomposed. This makes no sense; she has been sitting like that for hours.
But then the emptiness, a void in Wednesday's mind, brings dismay to the girl, she rereads the last lines she wrote, it seems that the story is coming loaded with a twist, but Wednesday has no idea what it is. She rereads further back, remembers what she wrote, but cannot remember when she thought of it, the plot progression and the development it is taking, she likes it, but it is as if she does not feel it is hers.
"Thing tell me exactly what you know, I knew right away that you were strange, I thought it was because you lost Enid......"
Thing takes two "steps" forward, toward the girl.
When I arrived, you were using both computers, if you touch Enid's I bet it's still warm....
On Wednesday, he doesn't let it be repeated twice, reaches out and touches the PC.
"It's hot-what was I doing with it?"
There were incognito navigation pages open with scans of old documents, I couldn't read or figure out what they were about.
Wednesday's breathing begins to quicken.
"I have to talk to Silivieri, he has to tell me the side effects of the mind expansion spell."
She gets up impetuously and without even waiting for Thing leaves the room and heads for the teachers' quarters.
Her march puts fear into all students who cross her path, her gaze terrifying them almost to the point of prompting them to flee. The sound of her amphibians echoes on the stone floors and reverberates through the ancient corridors, a sound that many students had already learned to recognize from the previous year; after all, Wednesday Addams' footsteps became audible only when she is the girl who wanted them to be, a clear message to all to let her passage be clear. As Moses opened the waters of the Red Sea, Wednesday opens the sea of students in front of her when she arrives at the square (Pentagon). Having failed to find the teacher in her room and having strangely failed to pick the lock to break in, she had opted to look elsewhere. Teachers rarely show up in the quad except for a few events, but Professor Silivieri is much younger than any other teacher at Nevermore Academy and had already shown that he had a soft spot for female students, especially werewolf students.
"You!"
Wednesday unkindly questions a boy she knows for a fact to be in her biology class; the worthless being had touched Enid's shoulder to ask her for a pen, and Wednesday wondered how much jail time he would get for cleanly chopping off a student's hand in class during a lecture.
"Have you seen Professor Silivieri, he is not in his quarters."
The poor guy, who until a moment before was talking about how crazy Gear 5 was with his friends, now finds himself alone, next to get it in his pants and with Wednesday Addams waiting for him to grow some balls to open his mouth.
"Ehm....Ehc....Io...."
"As I thought, you are a useless creature, you would not be good even as manure."
Wednesday overtakes him and a dark, wet stain makes its way onto the poor man's pants.
Once he had once again scanned the entire area with his gaze and found no further sources of information, Wednesday let escape an impatient sigh and left the square, which slowly became crowded again with students.
"Matt! Damn, man you pissed your pants!"
One of the poor unfortunate man's friends approaches laughing.
"Gee Bro, but you are as white as milk."
When the boy, still giggling, lays a hand on the poor man's shoulder, the poor man collapses unconscious.
"We should carry him to the infirmary...."
"Not me!" "Not me!" "Not me!"
None of his friends wanted to risk pee staining, even if it meant his safety, poor Matt.

Finally Enid also left the last meeting, the one was also the most stressful. After all, she is member of the other clubs but of her dorm's rowing team she was the leader, and having won the Po Cup the previous year, defeating a Hyde, being a teammate of Wednesday Addams and becoming an acquired relative.... It made the other girls hang on Enid's lips.
At the other meetings, she was often questioned and it seemed that her opinion counted more than who is true leader of those clubs, but with the rowing team it seemed that she was the only one with permission to even breathe.
Arriving in her room Enid pays little attention to Wednesday's absence, makes a mental note to go retrieve her, probably from the library, for dinner, and falls back on the bed exhausted. She dozes about ten minutes before a sound makes her fur stand up. A guttural growl reaches her ears, without her resorting to her super-hearing, the ringing is distant and pushes the girl toward the window/door, the sun is beginning to set and the writing indicating 6:33 p.m. appears on her cell phone screen saver.
The image distracts her for a moment, it is a picture of Enid looking out from a promontory that lies in the Addams' woods, that picture was also taken at sunset, that was the day Enid felt a little bit closer to Wednesday, the day the girl willingly revealed to her one of her hidden talents, photography.
Again that sound, this time louder and followed by a scratching noise, as if someone had run nails across the wood.
Enid goes out onto the small terrace of their room and looks out from the balustrade, now she can hear it clearly, the sound is coming from the forest, but it is not particularly loud, it is as if her hearing has tuned in to that sound and even without her intending it, the wolf's hearing has been activated.
The wolf girl closes her eyes for a few seconds and when she opens them again they shine with their own light of their blue color. Enid begins to scan the forest but the only things she sees are trees and brushwood and it is only when she is about to go back in that out of the corner of her eyes she sees movement behind some trees on a rise, she keeps her eyes fixed on that area when a huge clawed hand emerges from behind a tree and completely envelops its massive trunk.
Enid would recognize those claws anywhere and instinctively bring her hand up to caress the scars on her face.
"Not possible....."
She cannot look away, she wants to see, she wants to see the face of that creature because she knows well, she knows all too well who it might be.
The air is beginning to get heavy, it is summer but Enid is sure she is feeling freezing cold, she continues to keep her gaze fixed on that hand now motionless on trunk, so motionless that Enid begins to think of a hallucination or an optical illusion, this one does not disappear, portrayed again behind the trees in the darkness. Nothing happens for a few seconds that seem like minutes to Enid, until their gazes meet.
"Tyler"
Enid's started as a gasp but ended as a menacing snarl, her eyes go from glowing blue to glowing red, with a leap over the balustrade but what lands is not a girl but the huge brown-coated werewolf that has traumatized Xavier, the huge wolf that treats Grizzly bears like chew toys. Enid doesn't hold back, puts strength in her hind legs and charges in, with a seemingly too easy leap she leaps over the walls and disappears into the woods, running in the direction of Hyde Tyler, behind whose back dozens and dozens of deformed red eyes begin to appear.
