My Story -15
"I wonder what fun I'll have today." My voice dripping with sarcasm. I go to my lovely mirror to brush my delicate curly black hair.
I should tell you my story; the story on how Isabella Aron became a genie.
Once upon a time about eleven years ago it was my sixth birthday. I celebrated how any normal six year old girl would celebrate; a Disney themed party, mines was a Rapunzel theme.
The party was going great I was with my friends and my parents were having fun doing grownup stuff.
Then some magician looking guy wonders his way into the backyard. All us tiny children rush out to see what the magician would do.
My parents then frowned, at the time I didn't know, but my parents seemed confused and worried. The Great Magi was what he preferred to be called.
He asked who the birthday girl was and I stepped forward, feeling excited. The Great Magi grabbed my shoulders and looked me in my eyes.
"For the rest of your life you're going to be trapped in this ruby ring, the only way you may be free is to-."
I see my parents trying to run through the crowd of kids.
"The person who will have this ring is someone who will become special to you. I've chosen you to be the next genie; Isabella Aron."
I step back and I began to feel dizzy. The man disappeared and my mother wrapped her arms around me. "We are so sorry Isabella."
Her tears drip onto my face, and that was the last thing I saw before I blacked out.
Thus is the reason I am in this position, I'm a genie who grants 16 wishes for the holder of this ring I am living in.
"Ugh! Being a genie has to be one of the worst things ever. I mean who would ever want to be stuck in this position?" I pouted.
"Maybe if you are super antisocial, then this would be the best thing in the world." I sigh and popped in one of my favorite Disney movie; Tangled.
"Rapunzel why is it that I can relate to you on so many levels than before?"
The song 'Prince Ali' began to play, and I quickly turned off the movie.
"Wait this means someone has the ring. Someone rubbed it. It means I don't have to be trapped in here for a while." Excitement began to rush through my body.
I was being transported out of the ring and I appeared in front of a boy.
We both screamed. Then a wave of silence hits the room.
He was a boy with light brown hair and dark brown eyes, he was also slim with fair share of muscles. Might I also add that he was tall. Quite the looker.
"Who are you and why the hell did you come out of this ring?!" I was confused, did he not know.
"My name is Isabella Aron, and I am a genie. I am suppose to grant you 16 wishes."
His face showed so much confusion he looked constipated. "Um are you okay?"
"Beside the fact a girl came out of this ring claiming to be a genie? Oh yeah I'm peachy perfect." The sarcasm dripped from his mouth.
"Well I am a genie, and I can't leave until you made every single wish." He sighed, probably because he's been holding his breathe.
"I am Mason Holt. Nice to meet you Isabella." He holds his hands out. I didn't know if I should shake it or if it was a trap.
"Shake my damn hand." I do as he says, his hands were soft. "So do you have a wish?" I questioned him.
He stayed quite. "You can not do the following. Can't kill anyone. Can't make people fall in love. And you can't bring anyone back from the dead."
"I wish I had a nice car that was a bit bigger." I snap my fingers and he rushes towards the window to see his wonderful car.
"Holy shit that's so cool! You really are a genie." A knock on the door was heard.
"Mason get ready for school you don't want to be late." A female voice called out.
"Okay mom I'll be out in five minutes." He shouts back. "Isabella do you want to come to school with me?"
School? "Elementary is fun I can't wait." He pats my shoulder and smiles.
"Sweetheart, I mean high school." High school? Right I am seventeen, I have to act like it.
"I never been." "Well today you'll start your adventure." He smiled at me, I couldn't help but smile back.
This boy might be able to help me be free.
"Alright let me explain to my parents why you are in my room." I nod my head and follow him down the stairs.
Instantly his parents stop and look over at us. Talk about awkward.
"Who's your friend Mas?" His father asked with a smile. "She's Isabella Aron. She came early so we could go to school together."
Mason's mother clapped her hands together. "That must be your car out there." "Yes it is. And it's very nice to meet you both." I smile at them.
"Well we better be off, don't wanna be late." Mason quickly pushes me out the door and into the car.
"It's better if you drive, I don't know how to." He laughs but stops seeing my face. "Yeah, yeah alright."
"So how did you get that ring?" He looked my way for a second but focused back onto the road.
"Some weird guy who said his name was The Great Magi, gave me it when I was at the park yesterday."
The guy who trapped me in that ring. "Oh that's weird." I forced a laugh.
"When we get here you should stay by me, and try to avoid telling people you're a genie. It's not a conversation starter."
"What if people ask me questions like where am I from. What do I tell them?"
We pull into the schools parking area. "Tell them you moved from another state. I don't really know just make something up that will be easy to remember."
I frowned, I hate lying to people. "Where did we meet?" Mason stopped reaching for the door handle.
"At the park yesterday." He got out the car and so did I. A boy walked up to Mason and pulled his arm aggressively into some weird clap.
"Noah damn that hurts." Mason rubs his shoulder. The boy who presumed to be Noah was a boy with black hair, hazel eyes and he was fairly muscular. About the same height as Mason.
"Mason who's she?" He scrunched his nose at me. "I'm Isabella Aron, nice to meet you."
I stuck my hand out, copying what Mason did earlier. He ignored my hand and turned his attention back towards Mason.
I stared at my hand, maybe it was sweaty. I am pretty nervous.
"So buddy you coming to practice today?" "You already know I am." His tone full of excitement.
"Come on Isabella, lets go get your schedule." He ushers me. "Noah I'll see you later."
I look at Noah, he was glaring at me so I moved quicker and closer to Mason.
"What's wrong?" His dark drown eyes looked into my blue ones. "I believe he's a demon."
He laughed. "There no demons here, especially in Noah."
I mumbled under my breathe. "Sure."
