My Wish- 7

I meet you at the end of aisle and you take my hands in yours. I look into your laughing eyes and smile. You looked like a little kid on Christmas day. You shaved that day. I felt your warm lips against my knuckles before I heard you say your vows. That's when I changed my name. That's when my wish became true. I was now your bride.

You removed your hand from my eyes and I gasped. In front of me was a small cottage. This was our home.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it. Can I see inside?" You eagerly took me round the house and then to our bedroom. I smiled and then turned to you, grinning like stupid. "Candles?" You nodded. You gently pushed me back onto the bed and smiled.

"I love you," you whispered against my lips.

"I love you too." I was barely able to finish the sentence before your lips were over mine.

I picked up the end of my skirt as I ran after your son. He got the energy and the cheekiness from you. You laughed before picking him up and clutching him to your sweaty body. You wiggled your eyebrows before running towards me. You know how I hated you when you were all sweaty. Laughing, I took some steps back and groaned when I felt your arm around my waist and then your sweaty chest against mine. Despite how disgusted I was, I looked up and smiled at you.

"Dinner is ready. Had a good day at work?"

"I finished Jessica's building." I sighed and rested my head against your shoulder. I remembered when you came and told me that Jessica wished to marry your friend, Marco. She looked beautiful on her wedding day.

"You need a wash."

"I think I like staying like this. Shall we continue to hug mommy, Kevin?" Kevin giggled, not knowing what was going on around him. "Here, you take him. I'm starving." I followed you as you hurried into the kitchen. Before sitting down, you came and stood in front of me. I curiously watched as you put down your plate of food and grab my face. Your hands then went to the back of my neck. "Thank you for not giving up on loving me. I love you."

"I love you too, Peter. One does not stop loving. If I stopped loving then I have not truly loved."
