Anger
Well, anger is something that every human being experiences, even at a young age. It's natural to feel angry, no matter what it's about.
It's perfectly okay to be angry with something or someone. The only problem with that is you have to learn to control your emotions before it gets too out of hand. Like an outburst with your parents, a fight at school, ect.
Just remember this: Nobody, and I mean nobody, can control your emotions. Only you can. The only thing other people can do is trigger those emotions, and you just have to control them.
Let me give you an example of a time when I was angry. One of my friends really made me mad one time. I can't quite recall the exact reason, but I'm sure that it was probably over something stupid, especially if I can't recall it.
I just went out and ran. I just ran. I didn't have a set destination; I just ran until my legs got tired, took a break, then ran back home. I did the route on my phone, and it ended up being four miles.
I don't typically run that far.
But here are the things I do when I'm overall emotional, not just angry:
Running
Writing
Playing basketball
Drawing
Venting to a friend (Braxton, Hannah, or Jacob mainly)
Let's touch on the venting to a friend part for a minute. The important thing about that is that, depending on the situation, you have to have a friend that's willing to listen. They may act like it, but there's a thing that I'm sure most of you are aware of.
"Fake friends."
I'll talk about that at a later date, though.
Anyway, it's good to have at least one good friend that gives you good advice. But please listen to me when I say this, not everyone is good at giving good advice. Most of the time, they may not know what to say when you're angry.
And that's okay. It's not their fault.
And you have to respect that, too. Go talk to another friend about it, and if he/she doesn't know what to say, I'm always open to talk to.
One more thing then I'll shut up. The reason why I had those parentheses (Braxton, Hannah, and Jacob mainly) is that those are the people I trust with telling my problems to. They're always willing to listen, although Jacob never takes anything serious at this point. Also, Caedmon is a really good friend too. He typically knows when I'm upset, and he always asks me if something was wrong.
If someone asks you that question, don't lie to them. Don't ignore it. They're just trying to help you. Even if you're angry at them, do not push it away. Talk about it. Express your feelings. It boosts the relationship when you talk about things.
That's all I have for now.
