Chapter 7

"May, she's Princess Brianna Von Chisholm. The next heir to the throne of the Wind Soark Kingdom. And you just ruined her shirt!" the girls exclaimed all at once. "So?" I asked.

Ok you may be thinking 'Why in the world am I NOT freaking out!' Well the answer is simple. I, Maylene De Aries Maple am NOT scared of her because she's not an actual threat. Cause I faced far more scarier threats than hers. Like the time I almost got killed by a scorpipede.

Yup, you heard right, a scorpipede. It's a mix between a scorpion and a centipede. If you think I'm lying then your totally wrong. Those things exist. And I was totally creeped out. I'm extremely afraid of bugs. I don't really care about the scorpion but I hate centipedes. I HATE THEM! I HATE THEM! I HATE THEM!

They are totally disturbing and disgusting. With so many legs and all that. Ugh.

"Hello?! May! MAY MAPLE!"

"OMG! WHAT?!" I asked startled and frantically whipped my head left to right to search for any danger.

"Dang were you daydreaming, girl?" Leaf asked with an eyebrow raised. "Wha NO!" I exclaimed, "Why would I be daydreaming?!"

"Um I don't know? Oh yeah maybe it's because........."Dawn paused to let Misty to finish her sentence. "WE TRIED TO GET YOUR ATTENTION BUT APPARENTLY YOU WERE LOST IN SPACE!"

"Oh," was all I said and then I added, "Hehe sorry 'bout that guys. I was thinking about......the schools new uniform. See?" and I looked down admiring the gold spirals.

It was their time to say,"Oh" now. Then they began to talk about random stuffs. Dang I'm a pretty good liar. No, duh if I'm not then why the heck would mother send me to a boarding school, I thought as I mentally rolled my eyes.

"So May, what is your first class?" Dawn asked in her chirpy voice. "Oh um, my first class is mathematic with Mr. Hale," I told her as I peeked at my new schedule. Yup they also changed the schedules, next thing I know we will be moving to a different dorm with only 2 beds instead of 4.

The girls groaned. "What?" I asked eyeing them suspiciously.

"Um......Well" they started. "Come on, I don't have all day," I snapped, not harshly though. Just annoyed.

"Thatteacherisatotaljerkass/grumpyhead/bigfatmeanie/andalotmorethingsidonotwanttolist." Leaf spat out quickly.

"WHAT THE HECK!" I shrieked. "Shhh," I turned around to find most of the people looking at me weirdly. I blushed crimson red and sat down, burying my head in my hands. "I can't believe they would give me a teacher like that!" I whisper-yelled-told them.

"Me either." Misty exclaimed, "He's like the meanest math teacher to ever survive World War II!"

"Oh and be careful around him or else he will declare World War III on you!" Dawn warned.

"And make sure to do as he says or he'll make your life miserable as hell!" Leaf warned me this time.

I groaned out loud and muttered a simple, "Thanks guys, but I think I can handle it on my own."

Then the bell rang so I reluctantly went to class.

As I walked in I felt people staring at me, which made me a little uncomfortable. Wait scratch that, very uncomfortable. I might be 3 minutes late. Why? You ask. Well me being the new girl got lost with no one to help her find her first class, was about to give up when she FINALLY found Mr. Hale's mathematics class.

"Ms. Maple, do you care to explain why your late?" Mr. Hale asked clearly annoyed by the fact I was late and disrupted his precious class.

"UmwellIkindagotlostandcan'tfindyourclasssoisearchedeverywhereandtheniFINALLYfoundyourclassbutthebellalreadyrangandyouknowtherest." I told him. Dang, saying all that is really hard, I thoughts I tried to take a deep breath.

"Fine, go sit down next to Mr. Hayden, would you," he told me with a grumpy voice. Wait Drew's in this class?! And I then searched him and finally found him near the window with his 'oh so famous smirk'. I rolled my eyes at his actions and walked toward the seat next to him. But before I could do that a leg suddenly stuck out and I tripped.

I closed my eyes and waited for my face to hit the marble tiled floor, but instead I was met by warm hands around my waist. I gasped and opened my eyes to thank my savior.

Oh my fudge cakes, I thought as I looked into a way to familiar shade of emerald. Drew!

"Are you okay, March?" he whispered in my ear as I finally gained my balance. I blushed from the closeness and slightly pushed him back.

"Y-Y-Yeah," I stuttered looking everywhere except his face.

"Ahem," Mr. Hale cleared his throat, "Miss Maple, are you alright?" he asked faking concern.

"Yeah," I replied bitterly. "Then please take a seat Ms. Maple," he told me with bitterness also in his voice.

Right just because I interrupted his stupid class. I glared and he glared back. I then sat down on the green seat. And began doodling in my pink notebook while Hale started to teach us Algebra.

The bell ranged and I got my stuffs before going to my next class.

The classes went by and it's time for gym.

Oh crud, I'm toast, I thought as I went to the girls locker room to change. As I walked by I noticed the that most of the girls were talking about today's math 'incident' in Mr. Hale's class. Apparently it's about my trip, fall, and savior thing. So I looked down as I walk by while ignoring the death glares from girls. Damn, that stupid grasshead for having so much fan girls.

I quickly changed into a dark shade of emerald colored short shorts and a plain white T-shirt. When I finally walked out I wen to look for Misty. Apparently she's the only person who has gym with me.

I then found her walking out and waved at her. She saw me to so she came over to me. "What's up, Mist?"

"Oh nothin, important," she replied.

"Nope. It's the ceiling!" I told her while smiling cheekily. And we both laughed. "Nice one, May!" she joked and we walked to Coach Wilson.

"Ok, guys! We are going to Power Dodge," his voice echoed, "It's where you play dodgeball, but with your powers. You can use them to knock down the other team. And yeah. Now get ready I'll pick the teams."

Power Dodge sounds fun, but they should get a new name. It's sounds so lame.

"Maple! You go to the team on the left!" he told me. I simply nodded and walked to the team on his right, luckily Misty is there too.

Once he finished calling all the names I took a look at our opponent. And yeah Brianna, I think is on the other team smiling smugly at me. So I did what I do most, I gave her my famous eye roll and my cute smile.

"Ready........Set........Go!" and Coach Wilson blew his whistle.

I grabbed the nearest ball and threw it at someone. I'm pretty sure I hit them square in the chest cause I heard them swearing. So I kept doing it over and over again till we only have 3 people's in our team. The opponent's team has 4. Oh well we'll get them to beg and surrender soon enough, I thought as I blocked the ball by phasing through it.

Oh did I ever tell you that I also have bonus powers too?! Well if not I did right now. Then there's another ball that almost hit my face.

I glared at whoever threw it and of course it's the fake Barbie a.k.a Chisholm. I grew mad and threw a ball and it her in her caked face. I smirked in triumph when they other 2 guys threw a ball at the other guys on the other team.

I heard groaning and I swiftly turned my head back to see Jake and Liam retreating to the people who are out. I glared at the person who got them out and surprisingly there's Drew standing there with a mischievous smirk on his face. Then an idea came to me. And I to smirked but mentally.

I pretend that I accidentally tripped and hurt my ankle.

Then I looked into his eyes and saw the worried glint in them as I bit my lip. He started to lower his ball and slowly walked towards me. I quickly threw the ball at him and he got hit square in the chest. I heard him groaning but I was to happy to care. So I grinned like a maniac and started to walk towards Misty. But then a very powerful and dark source if magic hit me and my vision soon got clouded and then the room got really dark and voices became really faint.

Help. Someone please help. Soon I found a dim light and followed it.
