The woman scrunches her face as she gains her conscious from her sleep. She yawns and stretches her hands before fluttering her eyes open. She looks around with a wide smile hoping to find her husband in her room but instead, she finds herself in her studio on the same couch she remembers sleeping in after the small argument she had with her husband.

Her smile soon turns into a frown as she slowly sits up and looks for her frown which she finds on her desk and she waddles to her seat and grabs her mobile. She dials her husband's number but the latter does not pick up the call. She worries and calls his secretary who picks up the call and informs her that Seokjin has left for a business meeting out of the country. She felt that suspicious but decided not to ask anything else. She thanks the lady and hangs up the call.

She rushes to grab her things when a sharp pain shoots through her abdomen and she leans on the desk beside her with a pained cry. She tries calling her mother-in-law who doesn't pick up the call either. In the meanwhile, she tries calling her manager and assistant but no one seems to be available at the moment. She lets some tears trickle down before calling her husband again but this time the caller's tone states that he has turned his phone off. She grunts in pain and decides to call the one person she can rely on at that moment. The call rings three times before the person picks up the call.

The other person who picks up the call greets her nervously but hearing her pain-stricken voice the latter gets alert, "Can you...can you please go to my studio and pick me up. I...I think I am in labor" she croaks out in between her cries and the man says a yes before hanging the call. She leans down and sits on the floor trying to find a position that would be less painful. The pain halts for a few minutes before the cramps strike again and she cries again. "I will not let you go away with this you damn jerk, I am going to freaking kick your shin once you back from your damn meeting" she curses.

As she lies on the floor crying in pain, she doesn't notice how long it has been. A rush of footsteps was heard before the door to her cabin busted open and rushed in a man who had a worried expression. "Y/N, oh my god!" he says before crouching beside her and trying to ease her pain while rubbing soothing circles on her back. "We need to get to hospital. ASAP" she croaks in between her painful moans and he nods his head vigorously. As he proceeds to carry her in his arms she cries in pain. As the duo was exiting the room the door opened suddenly and walks in two women who had horrified faces.

"Mrs.Kim, what's wrong?" asks her secretary noticing the state her boss was in, "She's having contractions" responds the man while walking past them and the two ladies rush behind them. "This is not good. Mr.Kim rushed out furiously, I think he might have misunderstood the situation" the assistant of the woman in pain states which grabs her attention. "He was here?" she croaks swallowing her pain, "He was but then he left abruptly" the assistant replies and the pregnant lady grits her teeth.

The man rushed to get her in his car and drove towards the hospital as soon as possible but unfortunately, they met with an accident when a truck drove into a car in front of them before rushing to them, although the man tilted the steering, their car still got hit and they went swiveling away on the road.

Kim Anhye, mother of Kim Seokjin rushed to hospital immediately when she heard about her son and daughter-in-law getting into an accident. Reporters swarmed around the hospital while the security guards from both the hospital and Kim family tried to keep them from entering the building.

She rushed into the VIP room which was enough to get them both treated at the same time. Although Seokjin was out of danger he was still in a coma while Y/N was shocked and fell into a coma which was dangerous because she was in labour. Luckily her cervix was fully diluted and doctors performed a vacuum-assisted delivery upon taking confirmation from her parents since her husband was also not conscious.

The baby did not cry or show any signs of living at first but after a few minutes and a few slaps from the doctor the baby finally cried and the baby was incubated for any internal complications due to the effect of the accident. AnHye's heart clenched at the sight of her grandson being moved away. Mr and Mrs L/N were worried for their daughter, "We are sorry but she still seems to be in a coma. We cannot say anything till 24 hours pass" the doctor says and walks away leaving the parents in agony.

A week had passed and Y/N had yet to wake up. Seokjin woke up a few days after the accident but was diagnosed with Dissociative amnesia. The last thing he remembered was seeing his wife with a man on news and then hearing some sounds from her office. He forgot everything, her face, her voice, her name, and even the memories they shared except the thing that hit him like a truck and hence left him thinking his wife was nothing more than a lowly cheater. He was informed about his son and although he refused to have anything to do with his wife, the news of his son made him guilty, he did not know why he felt that but he did. However, he did not want to have anything to do with his wife and hence he filed for custody claiming that a woman in a coma might not come back to live, and won the little boy's custody.

No one knew about the custody until the day a nurse came to take the baby from her mother who his grandmother was feeding. Mrs.L/N went to talk to Seokjin upon knowing the truth but he did not see her saying he did not want to face them and she was furious, although she overlooked the fact that he never stood up for her daughter when she was slandered this was something else, taking away a newborn baby from his mother, that ticked her off.

All Y/N ever talked to her mother since conceiving was how to take care of the baby. She was over the moon to start a new chapter as a mother with her baby and now Seokjin wants to have nothing to do with his wife and he wants to steal the baby all for himself leaving his wife in a drastic state. Mrs.L/N was about to barge into his room as Y/N was moved to another ward upon doctor's supervision but she was informed that her daughter seemed to show signs of waking up.

Mrs.L/N rushed back to see the nurses holding her daughter who was shaking in the bed with her eyes closed, she was mumbling for her husband and trying to open her eyes but she couldn't after five more minutes she fell back into a coma and Mrs.L/N burst into tears hugging her husband. "She seems to have gone back to a coma, but don't worry she will wake up soon" The doctors cheer them with positive news and Mr.L/N nods at them politely.

As the doctor leaves the room, Mrs.L/N takes the seat beside her daughter. Anhye walks in after getting the news that her daughter-in-law woke up but to her disappointment, she was still lying on the bed unconscious. "Why are you here?" Mrs.L/N asks, "Are you here to see if my daughter has died yet?" she accused glaring at the older woman near the door who had teary eyes, "No...Mrs.L/N you are taking this wrong way..." Anhye was defending but Mrs.L/N could not bear to hear anything.

"Have you ever treated my daughter as your daughter-in-law? You never liked her for being in the entertainment industry" Mrs.L/N says, "That is not true, I treat Y/N as my own child" Anhye defends again, "Is that so? Then why did you stop them when they wanted to be public with their relationship? Why did you not support her when she was slandered with those lowly rumors? And why did you ask your son to take custody of Y/N's child?" Mrs.L/N yells in anger and a nurse rushes in immediately asking them to stay quiet and silent. Anhye having no words to defend herself walks away from there after apologizing to them.

Y/N woke up after a whole month and the first thing she asked for was her baby then her husband. Mr.L/N calmly explained to her what had happened from his point of view and she went completely silent not believing his words. She tried calling her husband but he did not pick up, she even realized he did not use the number anymore. She tried ringing her mother-in-law and she did not pick up either. Once the news sank in for her she asked her parents and friends to leave her alone for a few days. She was alone in the hospital room for days, refusing to eat and trying to contact her husband and her mother-in-law relentlessly but got no answer despite her attempts.

She did not let her parents, colleagues, or anyone in to see her except for the doctors and nurses. Her family grew worried about her health and how she became worried about her baby and husband. Mr.L/N seeing enough of his daughter's suffering decided to pay a visit to Seokjin but he did not expect what would happen.
