The morning has never seemed this irritating. Wanting to sleep but not being able to sleep is one of the worst feelings. He tried to sleep but how could he? when those memories kept bothering him to the point that he had to gulp 5 cups of coffee in 9 hours. He could try to talk to his mother but he knew better than to provoke the woman who's been trying to remind him of the past he was happy to forget.

Amnesia was something he was happy to have unlike the others, he was happy to forget his wife. Although he was still bothered by how he has forgotten every single memory of hers and only hers but could remember everything about his son. The doctors said it was Dissociative amnesia, forgetting about certain people or events that are related to traumatic events. In the case of Seokjin though, he had the issue to forget the woman who bought him pain. The only thing he remembered of her was the event when he saw his wife cheating on him. Or so he thought.

He couldn't recall her face, her voice, her habits. Anything about her is foreign to him. But the past two flashes of memories seem to have regained him the bits of the past he forgot. He seemed happy though, why would he forget such happy moments? At first, he wanted to forget and never get reminded of her but now he was curious. 'Was this how my life used to be? The warmth she gave me, the love I felt, I need that' he thinks to himself while zoning out during work.

He successfully ignored Y/N, she seemed to trigger the memories. It did not happen before, but ever since the kiss they shared at the villa back in Jeju nothing seems right. He huffs out a breath before setting the documents aside. He grabs his coat and bag before rushing out to meet his cousin. Hyuna was about to knock on the cabin door but the poor woman flinches back when the door suddenly opens, "Ms. Hyuna, post-pone all of my meetings for today and mail me all the documents that need my agreement" he tells her before rushing away leaving the woman dumfounded.

Hyuna was his temporary secretary. Y/N called in for sick leave after getting a high fever and cold. The man did not even bother to check up on how she was doing. Hyuna on the other hand rolls her eyes at the man who's been grumpy since the morning after knowing that his secretary was on leave. She heaves a sigh and walks back to her station before picking up her phone to dial someone. "Yes, he just left work. I don't think he'll be back any soon." she looks around and nods her head, "Sure, anything for you", she says with a small smile before hanging the call and resuming her work.

Seokjin was contemplating his decision to visit his doctor cousin. The other male was close to his mother and he was worried that his mother would know about everything he's been going through but this was something he could not ignore and he knew that well. Kim Soo Hyun was a well-known and successful physiatrist.

The Rolls Royce is parked in front of the fancy private clinic. Seokjin takes a moment to calm his nerves before he gets down and walks ahead to enter the clinic. The receptionist raises her head to inform him that the doctor was on a break but the lady is stunned at the male's presence who looked nothing less of a worldwide handsome. "I'm here to meet Dr. Kim" he states and the stunned woman breaks out of her trance. "I'm sorry. Dr. Kim is on his break" she states shyly with flushed cheeks. "I need to see him immediately, can you please let him know that his cousin is here", he asks and she widens her eyes realizing who the man is. He made sure to cover his face behind a face mask but people knew who the cousin of handsome Dr. Kim Soo Hyun is, the one and only, CEO of JinHit, the one with visuals of a Greek god, and the three times winner of worldwide handsome.

"Seok-Jin?" a familiar voice calls out and the said male turns around to see the very man he came to meet. "Hyung-nim" Jin sighs and Soo-Hyun pulls the younger into a hug. "Yahh! It's been soo long since you last visited me. Auntie says you don't even call her" the older says leading the man to his cabin. "I've been busy hyung" the younger replies with a sass. "I know that Mr. Hotshot, but that is never a reason for not paying attention to your family. "Ugh, you sound just like my eomma" the younger whines taking his seat on the couch inside Soo-Hyun's cabin while Soo-Hyun takes his seat beside his cousin.

"Jokes apart, to what pleasure do I owe your sudden visit?" the older gets right to the point after having noticed his usual carefree cousin going all the way to the clinic that's without any prior notice. "I can't really hide anything from you can I?" Seokjin asks the older male smiling, "Perks of being a physiatrist" he flaunts and the latter scoffs. "Well?" Soo-Hyun gets the man back to the point of why he planned to visit his cousin. "I...don't...well..." Seokjin trails and Soo-Hyun waits patiently.

Jin takes a glance at his cousin and takes a deep breath before explaining his concerns, "I've been getting these flashes which I presume to be the memories that I forgot a couple of years ago" he says, and Soo-Hyun perks at that with wide eyes, "What do you mean by the flashes? And how are you sure about them being your forgotten memories?" Soo-Hyun asks to be sure, "Well, I see her in them. Not her face, it's all like a negative film and I can't see who's who. But I recognize myself and I believe the woman with me was her" Jin explains his theory and Soo-Hyun nods at that.

"Since when have you been experiencing these flashes?" Soo-Hyun asks getting serious, "Couple of weeks, but I've experienced only two of them", SeokJin says and the doctor furrows his brows, "Did you notice any specific thing that has been triggering them for you?" the doctor asks wanting to know more, "Well..." Seokjin trails off and he gets flashes of the kisses he shared with his secretary/bestie. His face turns a deep shade of red and he looks away trying to hide his flushed face but his ears gave him away.

"I can see your ears turning red, you better spill before I call auntie and get her involved" the doctor threatens and the latter turns back to him with a horrified expression. "You wouldn't dare", Jin says and the latter smirks mischievously. "You know me well" Soo-Hyun states and Jin huffs a sigh, "Promise me you won't tell eomma and I will tell you", he says and the latter shakes his head, "What are we? five? Right now, you are my patient and |I never disclose the matters we share during the session to anyone even if it's your biological family" Soo-Hyun states and Jin nods at his words, realizing that he was right.

"You remember Y/N?" Seokjin starts and the latter nods enthusiastically. " Your secretary, the one who genuinely cares for you, I do know her" he replies and Jin continues his explanation. "Well... a couple of weeks ago when I went to Jeju, I kinda kissed her and that was the first time I saw the flash" Jin pauses to look at his cousin who had a shocked face, "You kissed your secretary?" the doctor blurts out and Jin looks away in shyness, "Yes. And yesterday I kinda had dinner with her when her date ditched her and we happened to share another kiss and that's when another flash came" he finishes and Soo-Hyun blinks his eyes.

"Wow" the doctor pauses digesting the information, "You kissed Y/N twice and you experienced the flashes after kissing her and that cannot be a coincidence, is that what you are saying?" the doctor elaborates and Jin nods, "That does makes sense and it is a good thing" the doctor states and Jin frowns at that, "No it is not! I don't want to have anything to do with that woman, I don't want to remember her face. I'm glad my JiHoon is safe from the accident that woman went through" SeokJin seethes and Soo-Hyun shakes his head at his dongsaeng.

"That's not how it works. You already tried to keep those memories from resurfacing for this long. But let me tell you this is not healthy. You need to accept those memories, it's part of your life. And you need to accept them to move ahead." Soo-Hyun states, this makes Jin think of the situation, "I am not forcing you to have them back with treatment, take your time, it's best when it comes to you naturally. You can share with me anything you face and experience so that those memories don't overwhelm you, I'm here for you, always. Don't run away from it, even JiHoon might want to know what happened someday" Soo-Hyun explains and Jin ponders on it.

A moment of silence passes by before Jin speaks up again, "So, should I kiss her again to get more of my memories refreshed?" he states and they both burst into giggles before they do some catching up and about an hour later, SeokJin leaves the clinic with a plan to meet someone who was sick and took leave.

Soo-Hyun who saw his cousin leave picks up his phone and dials a number, the call rings for a couple of minutes before the other person picks up the call, "He was here to meet me" he says looking at the closed door of his cabin, "He's getting his memories back."
