So I pretty much made it to 200 followers,  I didn't even realize I was getting close to it until about a week ago buuuut I decided to show my appreciation by making this special! So, I'd like to say thank you to everyone that have read these stories and stuck with me at this point!

Anyways, reason I decided to make this the 200 follower special is simply because of a certain went that happened in one of my other stories. Not gonna lie, I actually pretty saddened that it happened but I've also had thoughts about making a story for this but I wasn't sure until a couple of you liked the idea for this sooo here it is!

I hope all of you enjoy this short!

Quick Description: Sooo outfit is pretty much the same as the one from te Yang story buuut the coat will be red. Weapons will be Alastor and Ifrit  from the first Devil May Cry!

???: This way!

???: Right!

In the shadowy depths of unknown ruins, two figures were clearly seen running across the halls to find a quick escape. Following just behind is an infestation of Grimm that are chasing the two as they struggled to even distance themselves from the horde.

???: They're gaining on us!

???: It's just ahead!

???: *from the radio* You're too close to them for me to even set off the trap!

???: Just do it!

???: (Y/N)! You heard what he said!

You simply looked at your companion for a quick second before looking ahead.

(Y/N): I think I can still go into that mode.

???: But you used it all tryin to fend them off! Surely you can't -

Beep! Beep! Beep!

You then changed from your human form into something that couldn't be seen in the dark but a red flash was seen in the dark. You grabbed your friend, who let a surprised yelp, before you suddenly sped up and slowly distanced yourself from the horde.

(Y/N): Hang on!

Next thing your friend knew, your new form was charged with blue lightning but it did not seem to harm her. She then felt the speed pick up and the two of you were suddenly flying and reached the end of the tunnel.

Kaboom!

The both of you escaped in time before the inside of the ruins were lot ablaze by a sudden explosion. You had flown out of the halls before the roaring flames were shot right above the two of you. The form that you had taken was that of a red demon. (Dante's DMC3 Devil Trigger)

The next thing that happened is that you reverted back into your human form. After a minute, the flames have vanished from the ruins and the Grimm infesting the ruins have been reduced to dust.

The both of you stood up to find traces of fire near the entrance.

???: *from the radio* I can smell the barbecue from up here!

You felt your friend nearly shove you to the ground.

(Y/N): What was the for, Snow?

Snow: For nearly scaring me to death with that stunt!

You chuckled lightly after hearing her response. The white haired Faunus let out cute pout before eventually lightly smiling since she was just glad that the two of you were alive.

Ranger: *from the radio* I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we got a bogey headin your way.

(Y/N): *sigh* Great.

You and Snow readied yourselves for another battle but a dead Nevermore suddenly crashed right in front of you two.

(Y/N): Nice shooting.

Ranger: *from the radio* I didn't shoot it!

???: Hi guys!

A familiar head of blonde hair arose from the Nevermore's back as she climbed off to reunte with the both of you.

Snow: Joanna!

(Y/N): What took you so long?

Joanna: It's actually really fun riding these things!

Ranger: *from the radio* We're going to set up camp back in the southern outpost by the way. We won't be getting a ride home till tomorrow morning since there's no airship available back in Beacon.

(Y/N): Got it, we'll meet you there.

All of a sudden, the ground beneath you shook before you even had the chance to leave the area.

Joanna: What's going on?!

Her question was answered when a sink hole was formed and a duo of of Alpha Ursa emerged from the ground. The three of you gathered into formation with Joanna in the front while you and Snow stood behind.

(Y/N): Can't we catch a break?

Ranger: *from the radio* I have one clip left so let's make this count.

One of the armored Grimm stumbled to the side from a sniper round so you and Snow took the opportunity to attack the other. The fully aware Alpha Ursa moves to counter attack but Joanna suddenly moves in front to block the attack with her shield leaving you and Snow to dash forward.

You readied your sword, Alastor, while Snow drew her kukris and the both of you unleashed a chain of sash strikes from all sides until the Grimm fell back. As the other recovered from the shot, Joanna used the built up energy from the first strike and knocked it back with a powerful shield bash. With the help of Ranger, who shot two more bullets into Joanna's opponent, the large Grimm slowly weakened.

Meanwhile, you and Snow were relentlessly attacking the other Alpha Ursa with swift and powerful strikes. You slashed the armored Grimm with your lightning charged weapon for a few times before ducking to dodge its counter. Even when you dodged, Snow placed a foot on your shoulder to act as a stepping stone and twirled her body at high speed to land a large amount of attacks on the armored Ursa.

As she attacked the head, you lunged forward with Alastor to unleash a barrage of stabs at the torso and ended it with one powerful stab to knock back into its weakened ally.

Ranger: *from the radio* I'd back away from this one.

The three of you grouped up from a safe distance and watched as the two Alpha Ursas were suddenly shot through each other. Even the sounds of the gunshot wasn't heard after a couple of seconds after impact but the two Grimm were thrown to the ground from the powerful shot and were suddenly blown to bits.

(Y/N): *sigh of relief* Finally!

Timeskip

It was currently night time in the small abandoned outpost located south in the outside of Mountain Glenn. At the moment, your friends were currently asleep around a campfire in the middle of a small building while you were on watch duty in a small lookout tower. You can clearly see the ruined city in the distance as you were making sure the Grimm were keeping their distance.

It was a rather peaceful moment for yourself but you suddenly felt the presence of somebody approaching.

(Y/N): Couldn't sleep?

The person took a seat next to you and watched over the ruined scenery.

Snow: No... I-I'm still a little shook up about earlier...

(Y/N): Which part?

Snow: When we found the Grimm infestation... At the time, I was really frightened by just the sight of it. I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't there...

You noticed that she was slightly shaking from both the cold and the memory from the ruins. So you decided to take off your red coat and placed it over her shoulders to give her warmth.

The rabbit Faunus lightly blushed from your kind gesture before wrapping it around her shoulders.

Snow: T-thank you.

The both of you grew to a comfortable silence as you continued to watch the surrounding area but eventually, Snow slowly fell asleep and leaned onto your shoulder. You smiled as you continued to allow her to rest on your shoulder for the rest of your shift.

You spared a quick glance to check on her and realized that she looked beautiful as she slept. Taking a glance at your scroll to look at the time, you realized that your shift was over so you carefully maneuvered so Snow wouldn't wake up. Once you were in a better position, you lifted her with both arms and carried her bridal style to walk down the flight of stairs.

As you reached the ground floor, a sleepy Ranger walked past you and rose up the steps to trade places with you. Luckily he was too tired to even notice you carrying the white haired teen.

Anyways, you reached the campsite and placed her back into her sleeping bag. You lightly smiled once again before turning in for the night.

Meanwhile, Snow was smiling herself as she had been awake when you were halfway down the stairs. She would have said something but continued to keep her eyes closed since she had known that you were carrying her in your arms.
