School had finally resumed. As stressful as it was now, it was good to be back. The chatter and noise of students  was something I had come to miss.

Faruq, Amy and I walked along the corridor during short break. We were in our way to the snack shop in the lower floor.

"Can you believe that my fans are asking me for a face reveal?" I gushed grinning madly " They're so curious about me, spamming my DM with questions "
"I'm proud of Niyi" Amy smiled "To think it was only yesterday that I convinced you to create an account"

I rolled my eyes and she burst into laughter.

Faruq had his hand around my waist as we walked down the stairs. He was my boyfriend now and the thought of us being an item made me giddy.

"You deserve it" He said giving me a quick kiss on the lips "You're a beautiful writer and great friend"

I smiled at him, looking into his brown eyes.

"Hurry up lovebirds" Amy said looking at her watch " We need to be in class in five minutes "

"Says the person who was oogling Martin in English class" I smirked.

Amy blushed "Don't let anyone hear you"

Faruq and I laughed at her, remembering how she used to tease us.

I smiled at nothing. I had three hundred followers on Wattpad and my book had twenty thousand reads.

I was even thinking of writing a sequel for it.

I was back in school, my life was great and I was living my dream.

I hummed Miranda Cosgrove's raining sunshine to myself as we joined the queue in front of the snack shop.

The song was an oxymoron but I didn't care. Now I knew how Flint felt when he had saved the day.
