My mum had left earlier this morning to go to work. She was still feeling a little sad but looked A lot better now.

I was in my room as usual, sitting on my bed and I'm very sure you can't guess what I'm doing.

No, I'm not on Wattpad. I'm just reading a textbook.

Now that I was out of data, school work had become eve harder to do.

I still had credit though, so I was able to text Faruq and Amy to send me anything that I was missing.

My birthday is tomorrow and I'm as excited as fudge.

It's Saturday so my whole family will be home. Even dad. He's been unusually busy the last week so I'm really happy.

I was going to text Faruq to ask him about my Biology note when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I answered!

Tayo walked in grinning like an idiot, waving his arms like Mickey mouse.

"I hope all is well?" I asked squinting at him.

"I'm just bored" he huffed sitting in my arm chair.

"And so?" I smiled " Find something to do"

"I was thinking of watching a movie" He said smirking.

A movie!

If there was one thing I loved doing it was watching movies.

Especially when I didn't have to do it with my own data.

"Which movie" I asked looking at my phone . I was pretending to be disinterested for the fun of it.

"Cloudy with a chance of meatballs two" He smiled knowingly.

If I were to name my favourite movie it would be cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Food was literally falling from the sky!!! Ice cream, spaghetti, donuts, you name it.

It's a person's biggest dream. It was really funny too.

"There's a sequel?" I squealed bouncing in my bed " Of course I want to watch it"

"On one condition" He smirked again " Truth is, I'm not bored. I'm here to make you an offer"

My brother is a correct ode. Why must be behave like this all the time? Can't he just let me watch it for free

I sighed rolling my eyes "I'm listening"

" I've already downloaded the movie " He said "And I'll let you watch it if you do my chores for the rest of the day"

A memory of mum asking him to clean the freezer and fridge came into my mind.

"Were!" I hissed folding my arms " It's like you've gone mad, can't I just watch it for free"

"No" He said already standing up " No chores, no movie"

I sighed tapping my chin. I didn't have any data and now that he has brought it up I really wanted to watch the movie now. Cleaning won't take too long right? I think it'll be worth it, I love flint Lockwood.

"Fine" I said standing up "But I'm watching the movie first"

" Suit yourself " He shrugged knowing that I would keep to my promise.

After watching the movie and doing Tayo's chores I sat on an armchair in the living room.

My phone was in my pocket quiet because my  WhatsApp account wasn't active.

I was beginning to miss Wattpad already but there wasn't much I could really do, I needed to be patient.

I was thinking of what to do when said phone buzzed in my pocket.

It was a message from Faruq.

Faruq: Hey

Niyi: Hi.

Faruq: Sorry for the delay, I'll send the notes now.

And he did, though I knew it cost him a lot of credit.

Niyi: Thank you so much. I'm really grateful.

Faruq: You're welcome. I'm just glad that I'm able to help you.

Faruq: It's too bad that you carelessly exhausted your data.

This boy is looking for trouble.

Niyi: Are you trying to say that I'm careless?

Faruq: You're the one typing it yourself. I didn't say you were.

Niyi: I don't think you understand English.

Faruq: Do you? Cause if you did you wouldn't be asking me JAMB questions.

Niyi: Benu e dake jare.

Faruq: For the last time, Niyi, I AM NOT TALKING.

Niyi: You this boy you like fight too much. You know what I mean.

Faruq: Sorry oh. But you enjoy fighting me don't you?

Niyi: Please let me write my note in peace jobless boy.

Faruq: Eh hen. So I'm the jobless one abi. Me that I've been sending you notes since Monday.
Don't worry.

Niyi: Ah-ahn Faruq, I said jobless not useless na. Calm down.

Faruq: You're still insulting me. I'm not jobless.

Niyi: So you prefer to be useless?

Faruq: Look at the person who asked me to leave her alone oh.

Niyi: Are you not the one that started it?

Faruq: Ok. Sorry ma.
Are you happy now?

I laughed.

Niyi: Better!

I had definitely missed Faruq and could only hope that he likes me as much as I still liked him.

I could only hope that I was the girl that he had a crush on.
