KIRA'S POV

It had been a few days since I've became a member of the vigilantes. So far there was still no news about Amagai or Tori I was starting to get impatient but at least I had the Soji and the others supporting me. I was sweeping outside of Kyokatei and I kept thinking about what my father told me I was then snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone say,"Morning Kira."

I turned to look who called out to me and it was Aoi and he had a tired look in his eye. I said,"Morning Aoi, did you just woke up or something?"

"Nah I'm already on my way back, I didn't finish work until dawn this morning." He said. I was surprised at this and I said,"Seriously? It must not be easy working as hairdresser I mean."

Aoi nodded his head and said,"Yeah tell me about it, *Yawn.*" He said with a yawn. I then said,"Hehe, well try not to over do it."

"Yeah, yeah, see ya." He said as he walked away from as he waved goodbye. After I watched Aoi left I thought to myself,"It's still hard to believe that those guys are the vigilantes, they may be killers at night but they have normal jobs during the day, I wonder how they always make it look easy to juggle two jobs?"

I finished sweeping outside and then Kinshiro came out and he was wearing a formal attire that I had yet to see. I said,"Morning Kinshiro."

"Morning Kira." He said. I asked him,"Where are you off to?"

"I have to go and make a delivery to one of the higher ups, I'm just on my way to Ieysa right now." He said. I then said,"I see."

"Why don't you come with me, you might get to meet some of the other members." Kinshiro said. My eyes lit up at this and I said,"If it's not too much trouble then sure."

After I got ready I went to Ieysa with Kinshiro. Everywhere I looked some people had smiles on their faces. Kinshiro saw this and said,"You seem to be enjoying yourself."

"Is that weird?" I asked him with a hint of blush on my cheeks. He then said,"No not at all, you look as if you hadn't seen much excitement before."

"Well that's because my father and I live in a small house and there wasn't much going in the village where I came from we didn't have much entertainment up in the outskirts, the village only had local shops they only sold the simplest kimonos and I did nothing more than tie my hair back. My father once told me about Edo he said if we had enough money we would move out of that small house and come here but..." I looked away sadly. Kinshiro saw this and he said,"That plan backfired didn't it?"

"Yeah, my brother wanted the same thing but since he died it was only me and my father who had to save up enough money but even though we were poor, we were happy back then." I said. Kinshiro then said,"Well, I guess that explains why you were acting tough with us a few nights ago."

"Hehe, yeah, after my brother died my dad told me to look out for myself, which is why I had his dagger with me when we met." I said. Kinshiro nodded his head and said,"I see, you defiantly got his protective side that's for sure."

"Hey Kinshiro, you said you once knew my father." I asked him as I remembered Kinshiro saying that he heard of my last name. Kinshiro nodded his head and said,"I did once before, he was still in his teenage years when I first met him he showed us how determined he was to become a constable but that was when he met your mother,  Ayame Haruno, you've got her looks all right."

"You mean you also knew my mother too." I asked him. He nodded his head,"Yeah last time I saw her, it was when Renji told me that he got promoted and he was going to the outskirts to serve Lord Sasuke Amagai, I forgot ask, How was your mother?"

"When I was 7 years old she was very sick, she was too weak to stand and the three of us had to look after her every day but the doctors couldn't do much to help her."I said as I remembered how sickly she was before she died. Kinshiro then said,"I see, sorry."

"It's fine, we knew there wasn't much we could do except make her happy as possible." I said. Kinshiro then said,"I understand what you mean you must have loved her a lot." He said as he petted my head. Eventually we made it to Ieysa and Sion was waiting for us. Sion said,"Kinshiro, Hey Kira."

"Hi Sion." I said. Kinshiro then said,"Sion have you got that delivery."

"Yeah it's in the back I'll go and get it for you." Sion went into the back and he got the delivery. After Kinshiro got the delivery he then said,"Hey Sion, get a Kimono for Kira."

I was surprised at this and I shouted,"Say what?!" Sion smiled and said,"Sure I'll be right back." Sion disappeared into the back and I said,"Kinshiro you didn't have to do that."

"Hey call it a reward for all your hard work besides you've earned it." He said with a smile. I thought about it and said,"Well, since you put it that way."

Sion came back and he got a basket full different colours of Kimonos that I haven't seen before. Sion held up one and said,"I think this blue iris one would suit you."

"Sion that wouldn't match!" A voice came from the back. A man with pink hair and he was wearing a woman's Kimono. I said,"Who're you?"

"Oh that's right, Kira this Hotaka he's one of the members that Kinshiro mentioned." Sion said. I then said,"Is that right?"

"It's nice to meet you, Kira."Hotaka said with a kid like smile. Sion then said,"Hotaka works as Kabuki actor." I was surprised at this and I said,"He does?" Hotaka came over to me and said,"Yeah have you seen it before."

"Not really, I come from the outskirts of Edo." I said as I swat dropped. Hotaka then said,"Oh well, you should come over and watch at some point."

"OK." Hotaka turned back to the kimonos and he held up a different colour of Kimono. He held it up to me and said,"This pink one would suit her better." Sion and Hotaka started to bicker about what colour would suit me best. I turned to Kinshiro and said,"Kinshiro, help."

"Haha, try not to go overboard you two, I'll go and take this to the higher up mind waiting here until I come back." Kinshro said. I then said,"OK fine." Hotaka and Sion came over to me and Sion said,"Now that we've caught you."

"We won't let you escape."Hotaka said. I raised my hands and shouted,"Whoa! Steady on you two!!"

TIME SKIP....

"*Sigh*..."An exhausted sigh escaped from my lips. Kinshiro saw this and he said,"Haha, you look exhausted."

"Those two clowns kept going non-stop I had to whack those two over their heads with my fists to make them stop."I said. Kinshiro sweat dropped and he said,"haha...Remind me to never to make you mad."

I smiled and I looked at Kinshiro and I said,"But in the end, it was kinda fun though I didn't have that much fun in a long time." Kinshiro then said,"You certainly look like it as well."

I smiled at his comment and then we heard a commotion. I said,"What's going on?" Kinshiro then said."Don't know." We went over to check to see what was going on and there was a man with golden hair, light blue eyes, pale skin and he was wearing foreign clothes.

"A foreigner? That's rare."Kinshiro said. I looked at him and said,"Why's that?"

"We do get some foreigners but we see them around the harbour I wonder why there's one wondering through the streets." Kinshiro said. I then said,"I don't know."

Just then the foreigner looked over in our direction and he saw me. He smiled at me and then he started to walk over towards us. I said,"Wait what." The foreigner came to me and he scooped my hand in his and he said,"What a lovely young lady, My name is Willem."

I blushed at what he was doing and I smacked his hand away from me and said,"Keep your hands to yourself!" Willem shook his smacked hand and said,"That was harsh, I guess I should be more aware of women that bite."

Kinshiro got in between me and said,"Look here, Willem, you can't just go and take a woman's hand like that we're in Japan you know."

"Ah, forgive me, I come from Holland it's always a tradition for me to be a gentleman to a woman." He said as he tried to talk to me over Kinshiro's shoulder. I hid behind Kinshiro's back and he said,"You can't just go and hold a woman's hand and besides this one is already taken."

"Huh?" Kinshiro turned to look at me and said,"Just play along." I nodded my head. Willem then said,"Oh? Are you her boyfriend?"

"Yes, you got a problem?" Kinshiro said. Willem sighed and sad,"No, just a little disappointed but next time you won't be around to help her, see you later."

Willem turned on his heel and left among the crowd. I stopped hiding behind Kinshiro's back and said,"Jeez, what a creep."

"You can say that again, sorry about that." Kinshiro said. I looked at him and said,"No I get what you were trying to do, but that guy, there's something very off about him."

"So you notice it as well huh?"Kinshiro said as he looked where Willem disappeared to. I then said,"Yeah."

"I think it's best that next time when you're out here try to avoid him." Kinshiro said. I nodded my head and said,"I'll try."

???POV

I was hiding among the shadows and I saw Kira. She was with Kinshiro. I thought to myself,"Good, she's in safe hands, I'm glad I could count on you, Lord Toyama."

I turned around and I walked away from them and left among the crowds.
