KIRA'S POV

I woke up and it was morning. I stretched and I felt a lot better now. I got changed and I went straight to work. I was mopping the floors and then Hinata saw me and said,"Morning Kira, you look so much better today." I said,"Yeah, thanks to Dr. Wakasa's medicine I feel a lot better, my fever's gone to I'm back to full health." Hinata then said,"That's great, you had some of us worried especially Soji, you should've seen his face when I told him that you weren't feeling well, that guy has definitely fallen for you."

I blushed and said,"N-no way, that's possible." Hinata then said,"Kira I've seen the signs and it's not just Soji the others feel the same way about you."

I looked at her dumbfounded and I said,"You sure you didn't eat anything dodgy this morning?" Hinata looked at me and said,"Kira, stop pretending that you're dense, I keep telling you they're in love with you." I said,"No way." Hinata then said,"Yes way, even though you can't see it but I can tell they think highly of you."

I said,"If that's the case then why aren't they falling for you?" Hinata then said,"Well, I've already got a boyfriend-" I cut her off saying,"That's a lie." Hinata then said,"OK! fine, it's because I'm not as pretty as you but if you fall in love with one of them the others might pay attention to me."

I sighed and said,"Hinata, we've been through this, I'm never falling in love again, I'll refuse a man's love." Hinata rolled her eyes and said,"You'll just reject them because you're scared about what happened, stop letting the past get to you all the time when something like this pops up I mean before you met the vigilantes Shin fell in love with you since we were kids."

I asked her,"He has?" Hinata then said,"Yes, try and think about their feelings before you go and reject them." Hinata said as she turned on her heel and left. After I finished mopping the floors I was about to do the laundry until Kinshiro came over and said,"Hey Kira, can you do me a favour?"

"Sure what is it?" I asked him. Kinshiro then said,"Can you deliver this hairpin to Iesya, it got delivered here by mistake." I nodded my head and said,"Sure thing." I said as I took the package and I went to Iesya. Once I got there Sion saw me and said,"Thanks Kira, Who keeps messing with the deliveries?"

I then said,"You mean this has happened more than once?" Sion then said,"Yeah it's been happening a lot lately." I then said,"Seriously? Now that I think about it, Shin was telling about the mix ups with the deliveries and so far he and the other constables still haven't found the culprit." Sion then said,"You still talk to Shin?"

I said,"Yeah, I saw him on my way here along with Soji and Ichika, they were telling me that they were showing Shin the ropes around here." Sion then said,"I see, so he did get approved to being a constable here after all huh?"

I said,"Yeah, I was thrilled when I heard about it." Sion then said,"You must have been, well, I'll let go back now, see you."

"Later." I waved goodbye to him and left Iesya. On the way back I felt like I was being watched from the shadows. I walked a bit faster suddenly I was grabbed by the wrist and I was dragged into an ally. I was gagged and I was knocked out. Before I lost consciousness I heard something land on the ground and I caught a glimpse of blonde hair.

A MINUTES LATER, BACK AT KYOKATEI

HINATA'S POV

I sweeping outside of Kyokatei and I looked up at the sky and I thought to myself,"It's been 15 minutes since Kira went to Ieysa maybe she might have ran into Shin."

As thought about that I heard someone coming towards me and it was a hooded man. He said,"Is Kinshiro in the building?" I glared at him and said,"Who are you?" The hooded man said,"I'm someone that Kinshiro knows besides I know where Kira is."

I was surprised at this and I said,"What? You do?" The hooded man said,"Yes." I said,"All right, come in." The hooded man walked past me and said,"Thank you." I led him to Kinshiro's room and he was having some tea with Wakasa and Aoi. Kinshiro said,"Hey Hinata, who is this guy?"

"I dunno, he claims that he knows you." I said as he entered the room. After he sat down he said,"Close the door, I don't anybody else see my face, except the vigilantes." I quickly closed the door shut and I said,"How do you know about us?"

"I'm an old friend of course." He said as he took off his hood. Kinshiro and I looked at him shocked because we both know this man is or at least we knew him.

MEANWHILE...

KIRA'S POV

I woke up and my head was stinging a bit. I slowly sat up and a blanket was placed on top of me and I was in a room and some of the furniture looked foreign. I said,"Where am I?"

"You're awake at last." A familiar voice said. I looked over and it was Willem. I said,"You! Where have you taken me?!"

Willem said,"I guess you could say you're in my office, this is where I sort out my trading business around here." I said,"Trading business...? You mean you're the one who's selling the guns to Tori and Amagai?!"

Willem looked at me and said,"Yes I am, you've got a problem with that?" I glared at him and said,"I do! Why would you do something like this?" Willem smirked and said,"I'm just doing it for them money, Miss Yamasaki." My eyes widen when I heard call me by my last name. I said,"No way, how do you know who I am?"

"It's not that hard, I did a little bit of investigating about Renji and when I headed back to your house he his some photos of you, I believe he was trying to keep your identity hidden from Amagai, when I told him about you and he said your father only told him that you were supposed to be married and you moved away and he lost contact with you, How stupid can he get?" Willem said with a smirk.

I asked him,"But why did you kidnap me?" Willem then said,"Amagai said that he wanted me to find you and kill you but I could never hurt someone like you." Willem said as he placed his cold hand on my cheek. I wanted to smack it away but my body froze with fear. Willem smirked and said,"Not going to smack my hand away like last time? Shame I liked it when you got feisty last time."

Willem turned around then he turned his attention to making some tea. While he wasn't looking I got to the door and just when I was about to make a break for it Willem said,"Don't even think about it, I have some of Amgai's men standing outside of the building and if you run now they'll just stop you and bring you back in here."

"Crap..." I mumbled to myself. Willem approached me and then he said,"Don't even think about running just do me a favour and be a good girl while you're here."

Willem scooped up my hand and then he smirked at me and said,"If you behave while you're here I won't lay a finger on you or your friends, understood?" I nodded my head as Willem kissed my hand. He released my hand and then he turned away from. I held my hand close to my chest and I felt my heart beating faster. I thought to myself,"Whoa! What's wrong with me? Why is my heart beating so fast? I know he's supposed to be the enemy and all, but why am I feeling like this?"

I looked at Willem and he was looking at some papers and I said,"Let me ask you something Willem." Willem looked over his shoulder and said,"What it is?" I said,"When you kidnapped me and brought me here why didn't you kill me? It would have been easy for you since I was unconscious."

"I already told you, I could never hurt someone like you even if she is the woman I like." Willem said. I shouted,"HUH?!" I blushed at his last remark. I said,"H-hold on! What do you mean by that?!" Willem said,"I said, I can never hurt you besides I guess you could say it's love at first sight." I looked away and said in a annoyed tone,"Not to be rude or anything Willem, but you're looking at the wrong woman to fall in love with besides I've got no interest in falling love with a man again."

Willem said,"Ooh! that's a cold shoulder." I glared at him and said,"But it's the truth, I will never fall in love again other wise the same thing happen to me." Willem places his hand on my shoulder and said,"Want to tell me about it?" I looked at him for a moment and I thought to myself,"Well, it's not like I can keep it bottled up forever, since Willem is a foreigner I doubt he's going to breathe a word of this to anybody but..."

"All right but you've gotta promise not to tell anybody." I said, Willem smiled and said,"My lips are sealed." Willem made some tea and I started to explain to him about what happened between me and Takeo. Willem looked shocked as I explained to him about when Takeo and his friends attacked me and when they were close to raping me. Willem said,"Whoa, you must have had it rough now I understand why you were being so defensive that time."

I nodded my head and said,"Yeah, if another man confesses his love for me or if he touches me I get all protective since I don't have my parents or my brother with me." Willem then said,"Oh? What about the vigilantes?"

I said,"Huh?! How do you know about us?" Willem smirked and said,"It's not that hard to notice no matter how many times they wash the blood off their hands I can still smell it from them." I then said,"I see, well, whenever I'm around one of them I feel an ache in my chest but no matter how many times I tried to ignore this feeling it won't go away." Willem nodded his head and he looked at me again and he said,"If you ask me, I think you like them."

I looked at Willem and said,"What? Of course I do, they're my friends." Willem sighed and said,"I'm talking about more than friends." I blushed at Willem's comment and I looked away from him. Willem then offered me some tea and I said,"That better not be poisoned." Willem then said,"Don't worry, I won't drug you if that's what you're thinking."

I took a sip of it and it was good. I said,"This is good." Willem smiled and he said,"I'm glad you like it." I looked back at Willem and said,"For someone who is supposed to be my kidnapper you sure are friendly towards me."

Willem smirked and he said,"I told you I don't want to hurt you." He said as Willem took a bit of my hair and he brought it to his lips. I wanted to smack his hand away but I noticed that he had a gun in his pocket so I didn't want to make any rash moves. Suddenly, someone was banging on the door. Willem shook his head,"Oh brother and just when I was getting to the good part."

"Somehow that last remark scares me." I thought to myself. Willem opens his door and he said,"What?" One of Amagai's henchmen said,"Sir Willem someone is here and he's fighting through us as we speak!" Willem looked shocked and he said,"What? Who is it do you know?"

The henchman said,"No, he's wearing a hood so we don't know who it is." Willem sighed and said,"Oh brother, fine I'll go and see what's going you stay here and guard the door and make sure Miss Yamasaki doesn't think about running."

"Yes Sir." He said. Willem closes the door and then he grabs his white coat and puts it on. I then said,"Don't tell me, the vigilantes have come for me?"Willem smirked and said,"Somehow I'm not convinced it's them, stay here and don't do anything stupid." Willem said as he glared at me. I then said,"Don't worry, I'm not going to run."

"Good, I'll be back soon." He said as he closed and locked the door. I sighed and said,"He doesn't believe me does he?" I looked outside of Willem's window and it was dusk already meaning I've been out of it for quite a while. Just then I caught a glimpse of a ninja's silhouette I realised it might have been one of the fellas or Hinata. I knew I had to get out of here but since the guard was there I couldn't escape easily since the door is locked as well.

An idea came to my mind it was risky but it might be worth a shot. I knocked on the door and said,"Excuse me, Guard?"

"Yeah what?" A muffled voice came from the other side of the door. I said,"I know Willem said to keep an eye on me and all but, do you think you could let me out of here for a moment I need to go to the little girl's bathroom." I heard him sighed and he said,"Can't you hold it in?"

"I'm not joking, I'm dying here if I don't go now I might cause an accident." I said with a smirk. The guard then said,"All right fine, hang on." I heard the guard unlocking the door and once the door was open someone sneaked up behind him and knocked him out. I said,"What the crap?!"

I looked at who helped me and it was that hooded man again. I said,"It's you! you're the one who I saw a few days ago." He looked at me and said,"I am, I've been watching you for a while now Kira." I asked him,"Who are you?"

"I'll explain later come on let's get you out of here." He said as he grabbed my hand. We ran and ran through the corridors and I couldn't help but notice that this mysterious figure looks familiar.
