Info: In another timeline, when the wave happened, Yami was supposed to survive and be the only human left after 10,000. But in this universe, Yami didn't make it. In this universe, in this timeline, Kate was stubborn and wanted to be by Yami's side. Yami wasn't a lot of time as he had trouble bringing Kate alone towards his parents house to see if they are ok, however...they didn't make it as the Wave was coming at them.

As they accepted their fates, a bright white light saved them both. A goddess saved them both, telling them that history wasn't supposed to go this way, but it didn't matter to her as she now was gonna send these 2 to another world together. The Goddess told Yami that it was time to be his old self again, to which Yami was confused until he learned that he was the reincarnation of a....black hedgehog. However as Yami returns back into the ultimate life form, his memories from that life will be all fuzzy. As for Kate, of course she's going along with Yami, as she's gonna be reincarnated into a unknown mobius female hedgehog.

Yami, or known as Shadow now, will go through a lot of dangers but he won't be alone as he will have Kate by his side and others.
