Trailer Plot: Before the true story begins, every story needs a prequel, a prologue to tell everything from the very beginning. We true Sonic fans knows about Shadow the Hedgehog and his backstory. However, in this universe, everything is explained different in the crazy world of Smg4.

Around 20 years ago, before the true story starts, a teenager by the name of Yami Seishin Akuma, were very close friends with Smg4, Mario, and Luigi, especially to a very special girl in his life; Maria Robotnik. Both Yami and Maria have been dating for awhile and were very happy, but sadly Maria was sick with a deadly virus and it was only a matter of time before she was gone. Yami was very smart for his age and made it his life's work to develop a cure for his beloved. Yami also developed some unnatural abilities and was later targeted by the government once they found out and tracked him down. They wanted his power and those selfish higher ups won't take 'no' for an anwser. Yami tried to escape with Maria, but didn't make it far as Maria got shot was nearly dead. With a tearful and last kiss goodbye, Yami's heart grew dark as he went on a rampage, slaughtering all that stood in his way, but sadly...he was also killed in the end. Fortunately, his story was only beginning.

A mad scientist found the dead corpe of Yami and was gonna put him back together again as he was very close to the boy, especially Maria. Yami Seishin Akuma was finally reborn as the ultimate life form, but was sealed for 20 years as the mad scientist hid Yami after the government found out about his work. Now awaken, the ultimate life form known as Shadow was ready for his revenge against humanity. Most of his memories has been erased, but he remembers Maria and promised revenge against humanity. However, Smg4 and the Mario Bros stood in his way, his so-called friends that betrayed him all those years ago. It's up the gang to stop Shadow and his rampage, and bring their dear dead friend back from the darkness. Will they succeed or perish along with humanity?
