Backstory: Elanor Phoenix is the widowed mother to Blaine Phoenix and wife of her deceased husband, Jerome Phoenix. Elanor and Jerome Phoenix we're born to an upper classmen families who passed down they're inheritance to they're children whom they became successful millionaires and started up they're own business. Jerome, the only level headed rich men died from terminal illness and later passed that inheritance to his only son Blaine Phoenix and his wife.

Elanor being the only Phoenix family left didn't want to be widowed to her son because of the pain she witnessed when her husband died, her world around her began to topple down as she grapples the immense depression. So what she did next was she gave her son to a foster home for him to have a better life. She has never seen her son for almost twelve years in her absence. Blaine thought she had abandoned him for good thinking that he grew up in a foster home, but when she found out Blaine was Armored Spiderman, she was happy to see her son being a hero to his country.

However, it wasn't long until The Arkham Knight shot her. And with her last words, she told her son this "With Great Power, there must always come great responsibility." before dying in her sons arms... With the word that struck in his head, Blaine continued to carry on what he promised his mother.
