Backstory: Captain Baek is the police captain to the FMPD, he has been serving the Police force for almost more than a year and so, Captain Baek is also a close by companion to which he see's goodness in the web warrior. 

Captain Baek is a very kind, loyal, caring, supporting Captain towards his men alongside Blaine Phoenix. When one his men, Chief Cruz was criticizing Armored Spiderman to be a villain Jun told Cruz that Spiderman is good... When Blaine's identity was revealed, Jun didn't turn on the boy. Instead he protect the boy telling people that he is just a kid who is only trying to protect people.

Even when Cruz turned on him, he still chose to remain loyal towards Spiderman.
