Just like what jungkook had said last night, she woke up before 6 a.m. Even if she's feeling a little sleepy and wanted to sleep more, she still manage to wake up early and prepare herself before jungkook woke up.

As his wife, it's her duty to take care of her husband. 

She was in the middle of making herself a coffee when she heard a heavy footsteps coming from the stairs. She turn around and she saw jungkook who was struggling to fix his tie.

" Goodmorning. "

She greeted him with a smile that caught his attention. He didn't say anything, he just nodded in response while still fixing his tie.

" Aish, so annoying. "

Y/n sigh before she went closer to him and grab his hand.

" Let me. "

She said and started to fix his tie, jungkook just stood there and he stare at her. He was admiring her beauty. 

She's really.... beautiful. 

Y/n was busy fixing his tie that she didn't realized that her husband is staring at her, his eyes were not cold like before. His eyes were soft and full of love. He was looking at his wife softly. 

His eyes turn dark when he remember his plan.

No, I can't be this soft when it comes to her. What if I'll fall for her? No.. What if she'll betray me too? Like what yujin did.

That thought made him clenched his jaw. He grab her hands tightly making her look up at him, confused.

He then let go of her hands on his tie and he went to the table leaving her there dumbfounded.

He started to eat his breakfast, and he gotta admit, she's really good at cooking.

After a few minutes, he drank his water and stood up. He then grab his suitcase.

He saw y/n cleaning on the living room. Why does his heart aches? Why does he felt like he hate it when she's doing house chore?

She's pregnant and shouldn't do any strenuous. It might affect her and the baby.

But no. This is part of his plan. To make her suffer.

He wants her to regret that she'd marry him.

Jungkook sigh and went to the door he was about to leave when she heard her voice.

" You're leaving, jungkook-shi? "

He heard her soft-angelic voice. He turn around with his cold gaze.

" Isn't it obvious? "

He said in a sarcastic tone. Y/n slowly nodded while she's holding a feather duster.

" Uhm.. Take care. And jungkook-shi.. I want to tell you something. "

" I'm leaving. You can tell it to me tonight. "

" B-but it's important, jungkook-shi. "

Jungkook massage his temple before he look at his wristwatch then back at her.

" Fine, make it hurry. "

He said coldly. Y/n nodded.

" Can I be your maid? "

He was shock at her statement.

" W-what? Why do you want to be my maid? "

" Because I need a job. And since I can't work in a restaurant and cafe, I decided to just work here as your maid. "

Jungkook raised his eyebrow as he stare at her, he was trying to read what's on her mind.

" And why would you need to work as my maid? If you need money, I can give  you monthly allowances. "

He silently smirk at that.

See? She really needs my money. She's a gold-digger.

Y/n bit her bottom lip before she slowly shook her head.

" A-actually, I d-don't need monthly allowances. It doesn't mean that  I'm your wife now it means you'll give me money. I actually wanted to work for it. I c-can't just ask money from you if I need to. That's embarrassing, jungkook-shi. "

Jungkook was taken aback at her statement. His eyes soften.  He thought she'll agree to his suggestion, but he was wrong. She wants to work to earn money from him.

Jungkook blink a few times trying to process everything in his mind before he cleared his throat then he nodded.

" S-sure.. Whatever you say. I'll give you your monthly salary but I'm telling you, I don't like irresponsible employee. "

He said in his serious tone. Y/n nodded obediently with a smile making his heart pounded faster.

" I'm a very responsible employee. You won't regret it, jungkook-shi. "

" Are you sure? You know I can just give you monthly allowance. "

He was testing her if she'll agree.

But she didn't. She shook her head and smile.

" I'm sure jungkook-shi. And don't worry I'm a very responsible and trustworthy employee. "

Jungkook stare at her for a second before he sigh and nodded.

" Okay. If you say so. You should start to do your job now. Clean all over the house and.. Don't you dare go inside my room. Get it? "

Y/n quickly nodded. Jungkook then grab the doorknob and left.

In Jeon's Company

It was a long day for them. Y/n stayed in their penthouse and do a house chores all day. While jungkook stayed in his company, and do a lot of works and attends a lot of meeting.

Jungkook was typing his monthly finance report on his laptop when his phone rings.

He grab his phone without looking at the caller I.D.

" Hello? Jeon Jungkook speaking. "

He said while his eyes were focus on his laptop screen.

" H-hi, jungkook-shi. It's me. "

Y/n..

He stop typing and he stilled. He doesn't know why his heart is pounding faster when he heard her soft voice.

He cleared his throat.

" Yes? You need anything? "

He said in his cold and serious tone. There was a silent moment on the other line before she spoke.

" I-I know this is my first day as your m-maid and it's too early for my salaray, b-but can y-you give me an advance? "

Jungkook smirk sarcastically. He knew it. He lean on his swivel chair with a smirk plastered in his face.

" Sure.. Where will you use it? "

He said in his cold tone while his face were dark.

" Uhm.. M-my grandma needs it. She's sick jungkook-shi, and she needs to buy her medicines immediately.. "

She said in a low voice but he heard it. His face soften. He didn't expect that from her. He thought she needs money for herself.

It was silent for a moment until he heard her voice.

" Jungkook-shi? Are you still there?? "

He blinks before he answered.

" Y-yeah.. Sure.. I'll tell m-my assistant to bring you money. "

He stuttered making him cursed in his mind.

Why the f*ck did I stuttered?

" R-really?? Thank you so much, jungkook-shi! It really means a lot to me. Thank you. "

She said in her cheerful voice making his heart melt. Jungkook quickly shook his head when he found himself smiling like an idiot.

" Yeah sure. M-my assistant will be there in any minute. "

" Thank you so much, jungkook-shi. "

Jungkook just nodded. He then hung up and sigh. He's starting to feel guilty the more he know her.

Y/n is different. He admitted. He notice it since he met her. She's not like any kind of a woman out there who is only after his wealth.

She's too kind. He never saw her get angry at his action towards her. Even though he knew that she notice how he treated her. But she still remain kind and obedient to him.

But even though he felt guilty, he shrugget it off. He's still not gonna believe her. She have to suffer first before she get his trust.

It's hard to trust people again after I got fooled and betrayed.
