"Nanda...Don't run around like this, "Priya scolded a careless Kani who was roaming here and there holding her baby bump during Shreya and Arjun's baby naming ceremony.

"Why are you scolding my sister?Let her enjoy," Arjun vouched for Kani.

"Yeah...spoil her as much you can. She doesn't listen to anyone. Tomorrow is her due date, and she is careless," Priya said to Yadhu and Arjun in a worried tone.

"Mom, She is just fine ...that's why I didn't admit her to the hospital. If she had any complications, I wouldn't have brought her here," Yadhu reassured Priya.

"Hmmm...I am just worried, "Priya voiced her concern.

"Chill... mom-in-law.I'm quite alright, Kanika teased Priya.

Arjun and Shrey invited Yadhu, Kanika, Priya, and Dev for their baby's naming ceremony. They decided to attend because Kanika didn't have any pain or health problems except the occasional tiredness. And also, the ceremony was at Arjun's home.

"Arju...it's time for the ceremony," Arjun's mom Vedha informed him, and they all walked towards the living room where the naming ceremony was arranged.

Arjun and Shrey sat together dressed in traditional wear, with Arjun holding their little bundle of joy carefully in his arms. The priest chanted some mantras and asked Arjun to name the baby. Arjun looked at Yadhu and motioned him to come near them.

"You are the right person to name our son. Don't you agree, Shreya?"

He asked her, and she nodded her head in affirmation.

"Yes, go ahead and name him. But if I don't like it, I'm going to break both of your heads," Kani said, crossing her hands over her chest.

"We are trapped, Yadhu. Choose my son's name wisely, or else she will murder us, "Arjun chuckled.

Yadhu bent down near Arjun and took the child in his arms. He slowly raised the baby towards himself and whispered in his ears while others looked on.

"Aagney Dev...Aagney Dev...Aagney Dev"(A/N---just remember this name...you will soon know why...No...not any sequel).

"Wow...that's a rare name Nandhu," Kanika squealed and sat near them while the family elders approved the name. After the naming ceremony, everyone was busy having the food while Kanika sat near Yadhu and whined like a baby, "Nandhu feed me."

Yadhu smiled at her and took the plate from Priya's hands, and started feeding her.

"Will you scold me if I ask something?" Kani looked at Priya with a sheepish grin.

"Based on what you ask me? "Priya said, raising an eyebrow while Dev chuckled.

"Please divorce Mr.Saran and remarry again," Kanika said quickly and hid behind Yadhu.

"No..." she said firmly.

"I think you should let go of the past, Priya. You are holding a baggage unnecessarily. I think Saran has suffered enough for his misdeeds... Harsh just recovered from the fall, and Devika...she has committed suicide in the asylum. I'm not saying this for his sake. I am concerned for you, Priya.Enough of this suffering. Let him go from your life. I won't ask you to remarry like my daughter because she has gone crazy and says the same to me as well. But if you decide to remarry, I will completely support your decision, "Dev side hugged Priya.

"Uncle is right, mom. I don't want you to remain his wife just for my sake. I needed him during my childhood, not now. I don't care about being called the son of Saran Krishna anymore. And one more thing, mom. I want you to give back Mr.Saran his company. I have no interest in anything that belongs to him," Yadhu said, taking his mom's hand in his while Priya's eyes were clouded with tears. There was a momentary silence among them, which was broken by a new voice.

"Hey, Priya...Didn't you die till now?" the owner of the voice said in a playful tone. (A/N---It's actually a friendly comment we use when we see our friends after a long time, not at all considered a rude one among friends...strange people).

The newcomer was a man of around Dev's age but well built for his age.

"No...I thought you were dead, old man, "Priya replied in the same tone while Kanika and Yadhu looked at the newcomer in awe.

"Hey, Rishab...What are you doing here?" Dev asked, side hugging the new guy.

"Yuvraj(Arjun's father) is my relative, and he invited me for his grandchild's ceremony, "Rishabh explained.

"It's been a long time, isn't it? "Dev asked Priya with happiness.

"Hello...excuse me...Would you care about doing the introductions?" Kanika asked curiously.

"Oh, I'm sorry dear, I'm Rishabh Sharma...your dad's friend and classmate. Also, a lawyer. And you are Kanika, right?" he gave her a friendly smile.

"Are you single? "Kanika asked while Yadhu squeezed her hands.

"Kani...it's rude to ask someone a personal question like this the very first time you see a person, "Yadhu muttered near her ears.

"Father-in-law," Kanika mumbled, which was heard only by Yadhu.

"What?" Yadhu asked in confusion.

"My future father-in-law, "she whispered to Yadhu while flashing an innocent smile to Rishabh.

"Kani...mom will smack you if she hears you say such a thing," Yadhu warned her, but she brushed it off.

"Yes, I'm single...but why are you asking me such a question, sweetheart? Don't tell me you are interested in this poor old man?" Rishabh laughed, making Dev laugh along with them.

"Nanda...Rishabh and I were best friends from school times, and this man here was Priya's number one enemy," Dev laughed, reminiscing the past.

"His favorite pastime was annoying Priya when he visited us at our family home," Dev said.

"Interesting," Kanika said, looking at Rishabh as she noticed how he stole glances at Priya.

"And this is Yadhu, Priya's son and my son-in-law," Dev introduced him to Rishabh.

"Hello Son, Dr. Yadhunandhan, right?" he asked, holding Yadhu's hands.

He has kept tabs on our family, Kanika muttered to herself.

"Why haven't you married yet, Uncle? "Kanika asked, making Priya glare at her.

"The same boring love failure story, Rishabh snickered.

"His love story dates back to school days. But the notable fact is that the girl he fell in love with is totally unaware of it," Dev added as Priya laughed.

"Oh my god, Rishabh...You are such a coward. All you knew was how to annoy me. You should have told her that you loved her while you were busy annoying me, "Priya made fun of Rishabh.

"I should have...but I was late...I don't have any regrets...I am still waiting for her," he said softly but was unnoticed by Yadhu, Dev, and Priya as they were busy talking to Arjun's mom, who came there to thank them for coming to the ceremony. But Kanika, who was standing near Rishabh, caught on to it.

"So when are you going to tell her?" Kanika winked at Rishabh.

"What?... "Rishabh asked in shock.

"Come on; it is pretty evident that the girl in the story is none other than my Priya aunt. So please don't waste any more time telling her your feelings. Already you are too late...Now when are you planning to tell her...in your death bed?...hurry up, old man, "Kanika smirked at him.

"I'm not old...I'm more handsome than your father-in-law Saran," Rishabh scoffed.

"That you are...but I have a soft corner for him that the others don't have," Kanika said with attitude.

"And what is it?" Rishabh asked.

"Well, he is one of the reasons I have my Nandhu with me," she smiled, looking affectionately at Yadhu, who was busy talking to Arjun's mom.

"But I will help you in proposing my aunt," she smiled genuinely at him.

"You will...but why?" he queried.

"Because I want her to be happy now, she has sacrificed a lot for me," Kanika said, looking at Priya.

"And take my advice...Wear a helmet when you go to confess your feelings to Priya. Trust me, she is dangerous," Kanika said as she walked towards Yadhu holding her baby bump, bidding her goodbye to Rishabh.

"Crazy girl, "Rishabh smiled as he looked at Priya and her happy family.

"Nandhu...let's go home, "Kanika said to him sometime later as she held Yadhu's hands tightly.

"Are you tired, Kani?" he asked with worry lacing his voice.

"A bit," she said in a faint voice.

"Are you experiencing any back pain, Kani? "Shreya, who happened to come there, asked her in a firm tone.

"I don't know...It's just a...Aaaah..." she screamed, suddenly clutching her tummy in pain, alerting everyone.

"Kani..."Yadhu held her hands and caressed her back.

"Yadhu, Arjun...Take her to the hospital... the contractions have started, "Shreya yelled at both of them.

Yadhu took Kani in his arms while Priya and Dev went outside to start the car.

"We will follow you in another car, Yadhu, "Arjun and Shreya told Yadhu while their parents worried about Kani.

"It's ok, Arjun...You both don't have to come...It's your child's big day today...I will manage, "Yadhu said while trying to calm down a screaming Kani and placing her inside the car.

"Just shut up and take her to the hospital. We will do whatever we like, "Arjun said as he and Shreya walked to their car.

"Nanda...please don't cry, sweetheart. We are almost there," Dev almost cried, trying to comfort his daughter lying in Yadhu's arms.

"Nandhu...it's so painful, Nandhu," she screamed.

"Sshhhh...we will be there soon, Kani, "Yadhu had tears in his eyes, seeing his wife writhing in pain.

"N-Nandhu...Will you marry someone else if I die?" Kanika shrieked due to her increasing pain.

"Nanda...no one is going to die here, Ok. So stop asking such stupid questions. You and the baby will be alright, "Priya had tears in her eyes as she scolded her.

"Nandhu...Will you love the baby or me more? "she asked, digging her nails on his arms as another contraction hit her.

"Only you, Kani...I will love only you. You are My Untainted Love...No one can replace my love for you, "Yadhu kissed Kanika's tear-filled eyes, bracing her in his arms as if to announce to the world that no one else is more important to him than his Kani.
