Yadhu and Arjun's blood boiled seeing the scene inside the room while Raja looked shocked and started crying.

"Leave her, you bastard..."Yadhu yelled angrily, rushing towards Antony, who was roaming his hands on Kanika's body. Kani looked troubled, but still, she was more focused on eating the chocolate she had on her hands. Antony had half opened the blouse she wore, and he was eagerly trying to remove her skirt.

"Nandhu, Arju...See, this uncle gave me a lot of chocolates," Kanika squealed happily as soon as she saw Yadhu and Arjun.

All Yadhu could see was red, and he pulled Antony, threw him on the floor, and punched him nonstop.

"How dare you touch my Kani, you son of a bitch? I won't spare you today. How dare you lure an innocent girl and molest her?" Yadhu screamed, hitting the goon as he lost his temper.

Arjun and Raja were shocked to see this new side of Yadhu, who was mercilessly beating Antony to a pulp.

"Yadhu, leave him. He will die, "Arjun tried to hold back his friend, who had become ruthless after seeing what Antony was trying to do to Kanika. But Yadhu was too submerged in his rage to stop. Kanika was bewildered and scared seeing Yadhu's anger for the first time.

"N-Nandhu...P-Please s-stop...I-I'm scared, "Kanika sputtered weakly. Her voice was enough to bring him out of his trance. He stopped hitting Antony, who was by now semiconscious, and turned towards Kanika. Something snapped inside him, seeing her semi-naked condition. He removed his shirt and made her wear it forcefully, and he was strangely calm. But Arjun dreaded his friend's silence. And to add oil to the fire, Kanika said something which broke all hell loose.

"Nandhu, Why did you beat this uncle?" She asked with her typical innocence.

"Why?...Why?...Why did I beat this bastard?... How dare you, Kani? ...How dare you to run off like this? How dare you leave me?... Just for some chocolates, you let him touch you...What do you want me to do? Worship him for trying to molest you... Tell me, Kani...Fucking tell me," he screamed, shaking her vigorously. Arjun was disconcerted seeing Yadhu's possessiveness over Kanika.

"N-Nandhu...I-I'm sorry. I was angry because you didn't take me to the blue mountains. Then I fought with Adi b-because I-I thought you loved him more than me," she hiccupped.

"Yes...I love Adi...I love Shreya, and I love Arjun... But now, I love you more than anything else in the world. Don't ever do this...Please don't run away from me," Yadhu cried out in pain, wrapping Kanika in his embrace.

"N-Nandhu...don't cry...I will not do naughty things in the future," she assured him, wiping off his tears. Arjun had tears in his eyes seeing Yadhu's love for Kanika. He wiped his tears and called the police, who arrived in about half an hour and arrested Antony.

"Let's go, "Arjun told Yadhu and Kanika while Raja went to start the car. As they got inside the vehicle, Kanika slept, keeping her head on Yadhu's chest as it was a tiring day for her. All were silent and lost in their own world during the ride back home.

Shreya, Smitha, and Adi were anxiously waiting for them at the entrance of their home. Yadhu carried Kani to their room without waking her up. All of them accompanied him to their bedroom as Yadhu placed Kanika on the bed carefully.

"Let me examine her. All of you go out," Shreya said to all of them, and they heeded her request.

"Doctor Sir...Is Kanika madam alright? I'm sorry ...It's my fault," Smitha cried, and seeing his mother cry, Adi too started crying.

"Yadhu...I won't fight with Kani anymore...Please forgive me, "Adi whimpered.

"Smitha, Adi...It's not your fault. Please don't cry. And Smitha, take Adi home...It's late. He is tired. Kani is fine. Nothing happened to her. So don't worry and blame yourself for whatever happened, "Yadhu assured both Smitha and Adi.

Hearing him, Smitha and Adi left but half-mindedly. Yadhu turned to see Arjun staring at him curiously.

"What?... "Yadhu asked in annoyance.

"Traitor..." he muttered.

"What do you mean?" Yadhu looked at him questioningly.

"You love Kanika more than everyone else?... Bloody traitor...And here I thought you loved me more," he pouted.

It took a moment for Yadhu to realize what Arjun grumbled, and he started laughing uncontrollably even in that stressful situation.

"You caught only these words of mine in all this chaos," Yadhu asked, still amazed by his best friend's antics.

"No one loves me," he said, pulling a face.

"At least you realized that now," Shreya came out of the room and glared at Arjun.

"See...No one loves me, "Arjun said again, sticking out his tongue at Shreya like a child.

"Kanika is more mature than you. Anyways I will deal with you later, "Shreya said to Arjun and turned towards Yadhu.

"Yadhu, She is alright. Thank God, nothing happened to her. But from now on, you have to take care of her even more. You will have to explain to her the difference between good and bad touch, just like how you explain to a child. And also to not get tempted by anyone who offers her chocolate. Remember this Yadhu, Kanika has a child's mind, but her body and hormones are just like that of an ordinary woman. I know it's not easy handling her, but she will listen to you. So you will have to make her understand not to run away like this and to stay away from strangers," she said with a concerned voice.

"See...I told him that already. But no one takes me seriously," Arjun said with a duh look.

"Yadhu...she is awake. Go and be with her and remember what I said, "Shreya told Yadhu. Yadhu nodded at them and went to his room, leaving his friends outside.

"Hope he will listen to my advice after what happened today, "Arjun said happily, scrolling his mobile as both of them strolled towards their room.

"What advice? "Shreya asked him curiously. Arjun briefed her about Yadhu's problem and his advice regarding Kanika's strange behavior.

"You did what?" Shreya slapped his arms furiously." You are unbelievable, Arjun. Is this how you advise someone who is asking you for help? Are you his friend or enemy? Have you thought about the consequences in the future if Kanika gets her memory back? Yadhu will be doomed. Already he lives in guilt. He won't be able to stand another heartbreak if Kanika refuses him in the future when she knows what transpired between them. It's better if he doesn't love her and remain only as a friend, "she raged and vented out her worries.

"He loves Kanika," Arjun said, looking at his worried wife.

"Yes, as a friend, "Shreya replied.

"No...Not as a friend, Shrey.He loves her beyond imagination. I had not seen such possessiveness or care for Anjali even when they were married and when he thought he loved her. You should have seen his rage today when Antony tried to molest Kanika. It's not just guilt Shrey that binds him to Kanika...it's pure love. He admitted it unknowingly today. You asked me why I advised him to give in to Kani's intimate approach, right? Because I'm selfish, and I'm scared that Kani will leave us all when she gets her memory back. As a doctor, it's against my ethics, but I'm right as a friend to Yadhu. If there is a child in question between them, they will be bound together at least by my niece. That's why I gave such a piece of advice because Yadhu won't dare to be intimate with her at any cost," Arjun said emotionally.

"Arjun...I know you see your sister Yami in Kanika. But things can get complicated...What if Kanika decides to punish Yadhu?"Shreya stated.

"Sshhh...Nothing of that sort will happen. I firmly believe that Kani is Yadhu's soulmate," he said confidently.

"And have you already decided that they will have a girl baby?" She asked, furrowing her brows.

"Yep... so that we can get her married to our son," he winked at her.

"Son? What are you talking about, Arju? You know, right, I can't bear a child?" She told him sadly.

"Who said so, wifey? We should work hard to get our son out of you, or else Yadhu and Kanika will score before us, and don't blame me if our son is younger than my niece," he said, kissing her cheeks and carrying her in his arms like a child.

"Please put me down, Arjun, "Shreya protested weakly as she blushed, looking at a romantic Arjun.

"Nope ...I have got my hands on you after so long. You are always so busy...that's the only reason that's been procrastinating our effort to become parents. Haven't you heard that only hard work produces gain," he announced, entering their bedroom and throwing himself and Shreya on the bed.

Yadhu's POV

"Kani..."I called out slowly as Kanika sat on the bed with her knees against her chest.

"Nandhu..." she looked at me with her tired eyes and motioned me to sit near her by patting her palms on the bed.

"Are you angry with me, Nandhu?" she asked softly like a guilty child.

"Yes ...I am, "I answered honestly.

"I will not run away like this again. I'm sorry. Please forgive me," she apologized, holding her ears.

She looked cute as she apologized, so I decided to tease her.

"No...I won't, "I looked away with fake anger.

"I'm sorry, Nandhu. I love you so much. I didn't go to that uncle intentionally. He told me he would take me to you when I lost my way. And I didn't like it when he touched me. He said he would take me to you only if I let him touch me. I-I was missing you so much, "she hiccupped as she sobbed.

"Shh...don't cry. I forgive you this time. But never...ever pull this stunt again. And from today, no more taking chocolates from strangers, "I said, rubbing her back to comfort Kani.

"Nandhu..." she called me softly..."Can I tell you something?"

"Hmmm..."I answered.

"I only like it when you touch me. Why is that? "Kanika asked innocently.

"I don't know," I answered quickly in embarrassment as my conversation with Arjun resurfaced in my mind.

"I know...because I love you the most in the world," she answered her question and kissed my lips swiftly without any warning. I felt goosebumps all over my body due to her sudden attack.

"Nandhu...Don't you like my kissi kissi?" Kanika asked, looking at me with her doe-like eyes.

"Hmmm...Yes..."I answered, not wanting to offend her. But the truth was I, too, was beginning to like her intimacy unknowingly.

"Then give my kissi back, "she demanded as she pushed me down on the bed and hovered over me. I smiled at her and gave in to her dramatic demands as I realized how much I love her and what she means to me.

A/n Don't imagine too much...He just kissed her back, that's it...Nothing happened between them. 🙈🙈🙈 .Yadhu is too shy...well unless he is drunk.🤣🤣🤣
