My name is Nana Baluku.  I.  Am.  Mother.  Like my mother before me, I gave my children the most sacred names of our peoples past.  It inspired them to be just as great and wise as the ones before them.  I look at all they have done, and I could not be more proud of them.  They all chose their own path, in one form or another.  I meanwhile, always knew that being a mother was the most important thing I could ever be.  It was a role I continued, even after we moved to the Sky Dome.  I would fall back to Earth from time to time, shiny and new, and give myself to man that was worthy, allowing myself to age with him, until it was time to return.  My daughters allowed their offspring to become more like them, some of them eventually living in the Sky Dome with us.  I chose a form where my children could keep their mortality, letting them remember that Time is precious.
