So my teacher was talking about her son Chance (yes that is his actual name) and she said
"He almost died that day (talking about when they discovered he had Type 1 diabetes) but he fortunately survived"
And then I said "bY PURE CHANCE-"

And then I realized how bad and out of place that pun was.
