"Don't fall asleep" he whimpers and squirms beneath me. "I won't" I smile up at him "I'm here. I'm awake." I kiss his shaky hand and close my eyes. "I love you, I promise I'll stay awake as long as you need me to." "I love you too" he mumbles and pets my head. We lie there for awhile in complete silence, all I can hear is his heartbeat. The silence slowly drives me insane so I speak, "would you like to go out early tonight, take your mind off everything?" He shakes his head and smiles at me "nuh, it'd be more romantic if we went out during the evening." I nod in agreement and yawn. I snuggle against him "my baby" I mumble "my king" he mumbles too and drifts off before I have a chance to respond. I smile and kiss his chest "sweet dreams baby boy." I slowly drift off after him, his touch, his scent, making me feel at home in his arms, nothing could feel better to me.
