Soriel... one of the most loved and hated ships.

Why?

Why does this exist, why do people ship this and why do people not get my point?

Honestly, you could rant about this in the comments, saying over and over again that "they like puns and they're cute" and my opinion ain't gonna change.

I don't like it, and I never will.

You know why? Because:

•It goes from knock knock jokes, to getting married... how?

•Toriel never did tell Sans about herself, about her being the former queen. They never even properly introduced themselves until the end of the game!

•Think about it. It's really freaking hard to move on. Do you think that after her marraige with Asgore, Toriel can just throw that away and dive into a relationship again? No!

•Let's all face it, Sans is too lazy to commit into a proper relationship. The most he's probably commited to is his relationship with Papyrus, and that's only because they're brothers!

•Asgore

•Undertail

•Asriel having an existential crisis when he finds out a lazy skeleton replaced his loving and fluffy dad

•Did I mention Undertail?

I could go on and on and on about this. But there's one main reason why I can't bring myself to like Soriel.

Asgore.

I hate how the fandom treats him, I hate how they practically spit in his face.

Think about it:

A king carrying a burden for his kingdom's happiness, setting aside his own

or

a satanic flower that has killed everyone at one point

All the Asgore comics I have seen result in making him look like a stupid idiot! At least the fanart do him justice!

Soriel makes no sense whatsoever to me, and everyone in this fandom hates Asgore.

This is probably why I'm slowly starting to resent Undertale.
