Fifteen: MTOABB
🐞MTOABB🐞
What do you want from her? _Rossita
It's not important. Let her know I was looking for her _Gomes
I won't _Rossita
Rossita, stop being a child _Gomes
Maybe he is right.
No he is right.
Why am I acting like he is not allowed to talk to my sister?
Sorry _Rossita
I stare at my phone for a few seconds, waiting for his reply, but nothing.
I move to the fridge in the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.
No one is home, so I slump into the couch and grab the remote control.

"Where have you been?" I ask Chloe as she enters my room.
"Just somewhere with a friend," she says jumping on my bed.
"What friend is this?" I ask.
"What's with the questions?" She asks, narrowing her eyes on me.
"Sorry," I sigh.
"Did your date with Zack not go as planned?" She asks.
"No, it went better than I had planned it out in my head," I say.
"So, what's with your horrible mood?" She asks.
"Gomes texted asking for you."
"So?"
"Are you two together?" I ask.
She stares at me, glistening with amusement. "Of course not, why would you think that?"
"I don't know. Why do I even care? Ugh." I grab my pillow and muffle my groan.
"Do you like him?" She asks.
"No!" I shout out. "Why would you ask me that?"
"Its not a horrible thing if you do, have you seen him shirtless," she smirks.
"Yes. Yes, I have," I groan.
"Wait, what? Spill."
"I only saw him shirtless for like a short minute," I say.
"It's okay to have feelings for him - and to have feelings for Zack," she says.
"You think?" I ask unknowingly.
"I know." She nods.
Prinse Gomes - he has a piece of my heart?

"Okay class. You know what day it is today. I'll be handing out your team assignment and you only have until tomorrow to have the project finished and presented in front of the class."
I raise my hand to an inquiry.
"Yes, ms. Jenkins," Mr. Miller says, waiting for my question.
"Tomorrow sounds like it's not a lot of time to deliver a very well structured letter," I say.
"Lucky for all of you, you had yesterday to prepare," he says, already handing out the sheets of paper.
I move to sit next to a very unbothered Gomes.
"What's on your mind?" I whisper.
He stares at me and smiles.
"Nothing to worry about," he says.
"You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" I ask him.
"I'm not sure about that, you snap at everything."
"Okay, maybe you're right, but I'm not always like that," I say.
"I know."
"So..." I trail.
"It's Molly."
Who is Molly?
Why is she on his mind?
Ugh - Rossita, stop.
Sometimes my mind tends to swirl with ideas and run with it.
Don't everybody's?
"Who is Molly?" I ask.
"My girl-"
Oh no he didn't-- his girl?
Why does this bother me so much?
Maybe because you like him?
Don't make such absurd conclusions
I'm someone else's girl - Zack's girl.
"What's happening between you two?" I ask.
"Right now, I'm not sure. I prefer to dive into this assignment and focus my mind on anything else but that," he says and I nod.
"Well, if you want to get this assignment finished, you two should get started," Mr. Miller says placing the paper on the table in front of us.
~~
"I'll come over at noon so we can get this paper done and dusted with," I say as we both leave the classroom.
I amble towards my locker where Zack is waiting for me.
"Hey you," I say.
"Hey you? What am I? A stranger?" He says pulling me in for a kiss.
"I have a match tonight, are you going to come and watch me crush it?" He asks.
"Crush it? Who says that," I tease.
"I do," he says, crinkling my nose.
"I can't come tonight."
"Why not?" He asks.
"I have an assignment due for tomorrow and I already scheduled with my partner for this afternoon," I tell him.
"Its okay, I know how important your academics is to you. No pressure," he says.
Was Zack really saying this?
"I appreciate you saying that."
"Well... I need to start compromising since you're my baby," he says.
"I like the sound of that."
"I'll see you later, maybe text you after my game," he says kissing me longer than a peck.
I watch as he leaves and I grab my books from my locker.
"Prinse told me you're coming over tonight so why don't we do a sleep over?" Cass asks as we enter our History class.
"Its a school night, I'm not sure if mom will approve," I say.
"It doesn't hurt to ask, right?" She says.
"Yeah, doesn't hurt at all."
